The sun beat down on a January afternoon as Leo was walking around the corridors with Gray and Isabel. Isabel had been chatting awat at the two boys for almost an hour non stop, and as much as Gray and Leo both loved Izzy to pieces, she could talk for England to them two, though she never seemed to do it with anyone else, anyone else and she was a shy person, a little like Leo was. Though Isabel was talking about what happened over Cristmas and New Year, and no matter how much Gray and Leo tried to tell her they both knew because they were both there, she didnt listen. Eventually Isabel ran off to go and find her girly companions who she knew would appreciate her rambles.
"That girl has a mouth that never stops moving," Gray commented dryly like he always did, "She'll make a bloke real happy at some point, You know some guys like nothing more than kissing and since her mouth never stops, not to mention--" "Gray do not even finish that sentance," Leo laughed, "Izzy's like our kid sister, Its wrong to think that." "I was only going to say she'd probably need prising off the guy" "Oh." "Leo!" "What?" "Nothing"
The two didnt say anything more as they walked in silence, though Gray soon spotted his Hufflepuff friend Olivia, who, now Leo thought about it, had been spending quite a bit of time with. Maybe Gray had a thing for her? Nah! Gray doesnt want a girl! He watched Gray for a moment before walking off himself, maybe he would go and find Katya or Stacie. No, he thought he might prefer to be alone for a little bit, or alone in a big crowd at least.
Leo walked outside and into the crowds on the lawns, getting a few "Hi Leo"'s as he walked though decided a big crowd in people he would surely not be left alone in, he took to a more deserted part of the Lawns, the sunlight was brighter here and warmer and it as nearer the lake too so Leo took off his shirt and stared at the lake before lying down on his back and closing his eyes, catching a bit of the sun.

Rhia was puzzled to say the least, for some reason it was unusually sunny weather for this time of year, “Bloody global warming!” she muttered to herself as she walked through the corridors of Hogwarts. This was the first time in weeks, where she had not been wearing at least five layers and thats not even including her robes and scarf. Instead she bore a relatively thin airy shirt and a small jumper, blue of course. A Hogwarts student could barely walk around not supporting their house like a badge of honour, it simply had to be done.
Stepping out into the bright sunlight of the castle grounds, she saw masses of other students whom had apparently had the same idea as herself. It quite resembled the huge migration of Wildebeest and Zebra in Kenya, laughing to herself as she saw the image in her mind, of zebras wearing hogwarts robes. Not unalike at all.
Rhia’s hair was some what of a mess today, her hairbrush had be stolen once again, she believed a particular house-elf to be the mastermind behind it. Always watch where you’re going at night, was one thing Rhia had learnt from this experience, and never cross a House-elf being the other. Though due to this reason she could barely see where she was going, she narrowly avoided at least six people in the distance from the grand doors until she was halfway though the crowd. Thankfully though none of those had been slytherins, otherwise she would most definitely have to avoid at least half of the residents of Hogwarts.
Rhia cleared the Migrating crowd, and carried on for a few more minutes, until she reached a relatively open space, plonking herself down upon the soft grass. She sighed, stretched and lay backwards upon the ground, closing her eyes from the sun’s glare as she did so. It was somewhat unusual as her outstretched arms collided with not grass, much more...something else. Slightly shocked she instantly sat upright, and twisted round on the spot. There behind her lay, a fellow Ravenclaw she knew to be called Leo, however he highly doubted that he knew who she was. Cringing, she began apologising instantaneously. “Err. Sorry! I’m ever so...for disturbing you, i did not see you... hair you see...err..” She then realised that she was rambling and no doubt.. had not made any sense at all and so drew her sentence short, looking directly at the floor, for fear of blushing.

He didnt know how long he had been lying in the sun with his eyes closed but the next thing he knew, a par of arms collided with him and apologies came spilling out of a girls mouth. He slowly, and rather lazily opened one eye and looked upon the girl he knew from the common room and a few classes but had never really spoken to her before, usually Isabel was taking up most of his time in the common room, and Gray usually occupied it outside of the Common Room. Between Izzy and Gray, Leo never really had a lot of time.
He pushed himself up, he must have been lay in the sun for a while as red patched were starting to form on his chest, though he wasnt worried, they would brown out anyway. Though poking one to test, he cringed as it sent a burn through him. Sunburn, why wasnt he like Gray or Isabel who just go brown first, no, he had to burn and then go brown. Typical. Looking over to the Ravenclaw girl, who now he thought about it and shifted some hair from her face so he could actually see the girl, he smiled and realised it was Rhia.
"I can see why you cant see." Leo smiled, he could only assume she had either been stood infront of a rather large fan, or been dragged through a bush backwards. Either way, her hair was a bit of a mess, though no different to Leo's which was always a state these days and constantly Izzy begged him to cut it and go back to short haired Leo.
"Rhia?" Leo asked, he thought that was her name but to be honest he wasnt really sure, "Leo," he added. In a strange way the two names almost Rhymed as you could see this going through Leo's mind as he said in his head over and over, Rhia, Leo, Leeoh. Reeha. Nah, doesnt. After a while he laughed, seemingly at nothing and lay back on the grass, he finally figured the two didnt rhyme. "So, what you doing out?"

Rhia looked up once again to see Leo poking little red patches of sunburn on his chest. Trying not to laugh she looked backed down at her hands spread in the grass, picking the odd strand, more as a little nervous venting. She was much the same, could barely stay in the sun for twenty minutes without burning, nothing wrong with being pasty white, she smiled to herself.
Smiling back at him, as he apparently seemed to understand a little of her ramblings, much to her surprise. “Aye, its not the greatest of hair days, it would be ever so slightly better...note the word slightly...however if I had a comb I suppose.” Then laughing she continued as if it were a secret speaking in a hushed voice behind her hand, “Don’t upset the house-elves!” She nodded knowingly.
Biting the inside of her cheek slightly, she attempted to smile and hide her shock at his knowing her name, however she could not help but smile a little as he uttered it, and then his own name, as if he thought she did not know whom he was. “Err yeah, I’m Rhia. Hi Leo, I really am so sorry for disturbing you.” She smiled guiltily, though still a little shocked, she held back a giggle. What the devil was coming over her, mind you she did not speak to many people around the school, more of a quiet, library kind of gal.
Rhia could not help but wonder, as to why Leo had just began laughing, she could have something in her hair perhaps which would most definitely not surprise her in the slightest. “What am I doing out?” She enquired trying so hard not to laugh. Though putting on a serious face. “Oh well you know, they are renovating the Library at the moment and I could no longer stay on my shelf...And I read once about this amazing place, apparently called the outdoors, so I thought I would give it a go. It is most peculiar!” She laughed and then poked her tongue out at him cheekily. “How bout yourself?”

The little red patches hurt quite a bit to poke, but as long as Leo didnt sit there poking them he would be fine. He would just have Izzy put some of that cream she has on it later, (it stings a lot so he wouldnt willingly do it himself.) The sunburn only hurt a day after you put that cream on, rather than the antagonizing week it usually hurts for, so a little stinging would be better, at least he wouldnt have to guard his chest in the corridors yelling, "OWCH!" Whenever someone knocked him.
It was surprising what Leo understood, he lived with Gray and Isabel as part of his life so you got used to idiocy after a while and ramblings that wont make sense to anybody at all, Kiwaaaaaah was something Isabel came out with once and to this day, she wouldnt live it down with Gray and Leo. Leo couldnt help but laugh as Rhia basically told him the house elves had done away with her comb, "What on earth did you do to them?" For someone Leo had never met, he was certainly speaking alot, "You can borrow mine if you want whenever you're back in the common room, or ask Isabel, she's always good for things like that"
Leo saw a faint flicker of shock in her face though it was soon covered up, he silently wondered what that was about, he gave a friendly smile when she apologized once again. "Its alright, Its a good thing really." Leo laughed, "If you hadnt who knows how sun burnt I would have gotten."
The laugh that escaped Leo came and went in rather a short space of time. Though he looked at her and it suddenly occured to him she might think he was laughing at her, Which, in a way he was, though he was laughing at himself too, seeing if their names rhymed he didnt even know why he had bothered, there was no point in it. He listened to her speak, her voice practically oozing in sarcasm.
"Well I was with Gray and Isabel," Leo said, "But Isabel decided to swann off, and Gray saw a girl he knows, which I personally think he likes even though he denies it to his death and thought I would come out here to get some peace, however peace was not to me had as it seemed everyone is congregating outside so I wandered further where you then bumped into me." Yeah. That about summed it up.

Smiling as the memory of the house-elves angry little expression came to the front of her mind. “Well, its a very long story but in basics. It involved Jam sandwiches and not watching where I as going at daft hours in the morning, without an ample light source...” Rhia grinned and then continued with a slight grimace, “And since then it kind of spread, and i’m not welcome in the kitchens anymore put it that way!”
Then she began attempting to brush her hair out of the way, though she decided against it shortly after incase she lost her hands. Rhia laughed, “Oh thanks, that would be very useful. Well until I can get my mother to send me another.”
Rhia smiled as he cast aside her apologies once again. Then laughing she pointed her finger in the air and stated “Aha! In that case I am a saviour, I saved you of a week full of pain.” She grinned at him once again; this was one person Rhia never thought she would be able to talk too. Leo was known by many people, and Rhia just tended to stick to the Library with the many books and Offley Marsh for company.
Rhia found herself smiling at him once again; she was a relatively bubbly Ravenclaw when she was with those she knew well, so this was somewhat odd to say the least. The way Leo talked about his friends, he clearly cared about them greatly, you could tell by the look in his eyes as he mentioned them. He began mentioning how he had come out here for some piece; this was when she realised that she was actually completely ruining his afternoon. “Sorry again for disturbing your peace. I only came here to avoid the crowds, and I honestly didn’t see you...” Rhia began with a guilty expression playing upon her features once again. “Isn’t it odd how they all congregate,” Rhia swivelled round to look at the huge mass of students, “I mean the size of this school you’d think they would spread out slightly. At this time of year everyone should be sat by a roaring fire!”
Turning back to look at Leo she smiled, though was at a loss of things to say. So she decided to strike up the major part of the past few months. “Did you have a nice Christmas? I don’t remember seeing you once all Holiday. But as you rightly pointed out, they don’t let me out of the Library very often.” She added with a cheeky wink.
