Ella brushed a tree branch out of her path as she took another step into the forest. She could hear the rain pouring above, but it only seemed to come out in a sprinkle under the cover of the tall cluster of trees.
She was not planning on wandering very far, it was, afterall, forbidden for a reason. But...Ella being a rule breaker at times decided that she couldn't possibly run into anything too terrible in just the outskirts of the forest.
As she ran across a stump, she took the opportunity to sit down. She felt relief spread through her converse covered feet.
Ella took a gaze around her. Trees. Trees. Oh! and theres more trees! But with the rain drops dripping down from leaf to leaf, branch to branch, and finally to the ground, it made something so repetative seem unique at every point.

Pitter patter could be heard slapping against the window panes. She stood on the third floor corridor and stared out the window. Wanting to be out in it Ginny took one last look before deciding leave the safe confines of the castle for the wild unknown of the grounds.
Giggling and frolicking Ginny ran around outside. Feeling happier than she had in weeks. Rain sweet rain falling on her clinging to the ends of her hair, drenching her clothes, hydrating her body and her mind.
Others would be running inside right about now, Ginny stood right in the middle of the grounds spinning round and round. When she finally stood still she caught sight of a branch moving in the forest. There was probably someone in there, if they were why? Ginny felt like being nosy so she decided to go inspect.
Poking her head in there a girl sitting on a stump made her jump back in surprise. The rain in her hair splashed all over her face. Now that she saw her Ginny couldn't ignore her so she decided to go on in. "Hey what're you doing in here?"

Char Hadley stared dumbly at the rain that had suddenly decided to grace the castle grounds. Instantly, his hair grew wet and his robes soaked, both sticking to him uncomfortably and with a small grimace, he took haven in a cluster of trees nearby.
Of course he realised belatedly that the trees were part of the very edges of the Forbidden Forest. He hadn't forced himself to enter the forest since the last time, but the trees with their dark leaves and sketchy postures always had a certain charm to them. Screwing up his face in a squint, Char looked around for a relatively dry place to shake off the water that drenched him.
He hadn't expected to hear any form of civilization - especially not in the forest on a rainy night - so was surprised to see a few figures straight ahead of him. Tilting his head to one side, lighting his wand with a quick Lumos, Char approached them carefully.
"Er...Hi." He said with a raised brow when he neared them, looking sheepish in the dim illumination of his wand.

Ella was startled as a girl appeared in front of her, soaking from wandering in the rain. "Oh! Hello, Just...getting out of the rain, I suppose." Ella answered, ringing the water out of the edges of her light blonde hair. Just as she got done answering, a boy appeared with his wand lit, seeming awkwardly caught, but he seemed to be friendly with the hello he spoke.
"Hello" ella nodded to both. She then looked down at both of their robes. The crest was...
Gryffindor.... Oh boy.
She knew she was in absolutely no place to judge...but if her father knew..she just had to keep her voice low. If any of her fathers 'friends' in the forest were to see and recognize her, they would report it to him immidietly.

Eyes suddenly focused clearly seeing the crest on the girl's robes Ginny saw she was a Slytherin. Coming out there for a nice time in the rain her nosiness got the better of her now she might just end up in an argument or something since most Slytherins at the school weren't the friendliest lot.
Waiting for a rude comment one never presented itself. A hello was uttered and nothing nasty after it. Ginny blinked a bit caught off guard by her niceness her mouth opened and then closed before she answered "Getting out of the rain I was trying to get into the rain but I saw a branch move over here and I got a bit nosy didn't mean to intrude though if you were trying to be alone."
Just then another someone appeared one of her own Char, Ginny didn't really know him but she greeted him as an old friend anyway. "Hey there what's up enjoying the rain?"

Char laughed amiably with a rather wide gaze. He had a habit of looking completely awed with the simplest things, and they brightened at the friendly response he received.
"Enjoying it?" He shook out his hair ultimately making it stand up in a number of directions. "I was trying to get out of it actually." He grinned, immediately recognising Ginny but furrowing his brows just slightly in trying to place the other.
He noticed her badge rather late, though only offered a smile at his realisation. "You look a bit nervous," he said frankly, moving onto squeeze water out from his robes. "You shouldn't be. Gryffindors don't bite you know." He was the first to notice the violent chattering of his own teeth.
"I really, really, hate being cold and wet." He said with a shake of his messy hair.

Ella laughed a bit shakily. Gryffindors don't bite... "You may not, but my father could. That and alot worse..." Ella said, slightly softer, but then laughed it off. As if it may have ben a joke... "I just wanted to get out of the rain, although I guess inside might have been a wiser choice.." Ella laughed "But itt's very pretty out in the forest when it rains...Couldnt help myself."
"Ella Malfoy, by the way" She introduced herself with a smile and a wave of her hand. THough...presenting her last name may not have been the wisest choice.

Char's smile wavered slightly at first, but soon he was shaking her hand with an enthused grin. "Char Hadley."
The rain hadn't decided to take mercy on them and was pouring down as heavily as ever. Even the thicket of trees above them were straining against the force of it. Wrinkling his nose as he stared at the high canopy, Char finally pulled off his uncomfortably wet robes.
When he felt considerably more dry and settled on a relatively comfortable log, Char pulled off one of his shoes and poured the water inside them out with a grimace. "Oh yeah, real beautiful," he said playfully, glancing up at Ella with a smile. Though, he did catch the way branches that normally looked eerie seemed to light up and glow with each flash of lightning, and had to agree somewhat.
After a minute of silence, Char gazed at the Slytherin from beneath his fringe, eyes curious. "Your father can't get you here, can he?" he said obliviously; reassuringly.

Char seemed to pick up on something that Ginny had not. He seemed to think that they're company seemed a bit nervous in their presence. There was no need for it because Gryffindors were pretty nice for the most part unless crossed at least. "Gryffindors don't bite" Char informed her and Ginny giggled. "Well they don't normally but the can if they must" she joked some more. Rain spattering on top of her head yet it didn't seem to bother her.
"Ah everyone trying to get out of the rain I guess I'm the only silly one who decided to come out in it, but it's just so beautiful how can you not want to." She moved further into the clearing in which Ella was sitting. "But this is pretty too and I guess it does keep you kind of dry."
Ella mentioned about her father and how he might not like her hanging around Gryffindors. Ginny didn't bother to respond to that because she knew all too well about the Malfoy's but so far Ella seemed to be different. "Like Char said your father's not here now so I think it's safe. It'll be OK." She winked at the girl in a friendly manner.

Ella nodded, her father couldn't get her here. Could he? Ella pushed the thoughts of the creatures that had an alliance with her father, hiding behind a tree, soon running o her father with the news.
Her father would get angry, his face that starts to boil red seeming much brighter in comparison to his light, pale hair. He would put his wand and angrily curse at the creature, although they had done what was only in his best interest. Her father would floo to Hogwarts, seeing the headmaster first, and informing him that it was just family matters. Her father would storm into the common room, where her friends gazed frightfully upon the angry man. He would raise his hand in front of her and smack her so hard that it would leave inprints for the rest of the day, and she would play sick so her teachers could not see. In front of every Slytherin, her father would curse her with a crucio, and this time the pain would be just as unbearable as the last...
Just like last year....
Ella snapped out of her horrid daydream, and smiled at the two, wanting to get her mind on something else. After all, creatures that were on her fathers side wouldn't be this shallow in the forest, would they?
"It is almost unbearable. The beauty of the forest." Ella stated. "Now...what would a prefect do if we were caught here?" Ella asked, as the curiousity set in.

Char glanced curiously at Ella as her gaze grew vague and glassy. He wondered what horrid things the girl's father had done to her, not completely familiar with the Malfoy name as a result of the muggle environment he'd been brought up in, but decided not to press the issue.
Instead, he sent a friendly smile toward both of them. "Let's not find out," he replied with a slight laugh.
He couldn't help but smirk as the girls continued to go on about the beauty of the forest. "You know, these trees might be pretty but I'm sure you wouldn't grace this place with so much praise if you were the one to have seen any hags."
