Jase was walking around the school grounds, minding his own business as he went. He had been here now for a week and still things were new to him. This week had been hectic, yet he had met a few decent people, not really what you would call friends as friendship came in time, not upon first meetings. Jase missed the Wizarding Acadamy, he missed his friends and his girlfriend, he wrote to them all as they wrote to him, telling him things which only made him wish he was back there with them. Though he wasnt, and he wouldnt ever be.
The gravel crunched beneath the boys feet as people were sat on either side of the walkway, smiling at him as he passed and whispering things about him to their friends. Walking off the gravel he began to walk over the lawns. His father was settling in at the Ministry and his mother was working at Mungoes, so it was now left to Jase to settle at School, though he was finding it quite difficult as he spent most of his days ducking around corners trying to avoid that brother of his.
He lay down on the grass, his head was resting on his arms as he looked at the sky, something he used to do with his friends back in America, trying to work out what shapes the clouds were taking. Though right now he couldnt see anything but clouds, no shapes, no nothing. Sighing he went to sit up as someone collided into him. Looking at who was now on the floor on the opposite side of him, he noticed the blonde head that belonged to Max.
"Watch where you're going!"

"Watch where you're going!"
Max heard this voice as he pushed himself off the ground, people should really make note on where people lay but Max had been busy searching for Jase this morning. Why had that little runt not told him who he was. As he stood up and brushed himself off, Max turned to apologize to who was on the floor, but seeing it was Jase, Max suddenly felt angry and instead just glared at him as Jase stood up and faced him.
"Maybe you should let people know where you are lying" "Let people know? What havnt you got eyes?" "Of course I have, but I dont walk around with them glued to the ground." "You might want to considering your size." "What's that supposed to mean?" "Your tall, obviously, what else was it meant to mean?"
Max glared at Jase in the same way he was glaring at Max. He had wanted to find Jase, and now he had. What was he going to say to him anyway, it was clear both boys had some form of resentment for one another. Though Jase had no reason to hate Max, Max on the otherhand did. Jase was the result of an affair his dad had had.
"I thought you were in America" "I was" "You should have stayed there." "I wanted to. Do you think I wanted to come and slum it with people like you?" "People like me?" "Yeah, gaybenders." "You got a problem with Gays?" "No, But you I do."
Jase smirked at Maxi who seemed to be glowering with hate. It seemed Jase knew which buttons to press to annoy the other boy. Maxi was stood really close to Jase, and people were speculating whether or not this would result in a fight or something like that. Jase didnt really care whether it did or didnt, Jase was violent anyway so it made no difference to him.
"How does it feel knowing Dad didnt love your mum enough to stay faithful?" Jase smirked. "You know nothing about him." "I know he cheated and Im the result" "You're just a runt" "Then why are you bothering with me?" "..." "Thats what I thought." "Think what you like Jase." "I always do"

It was true, Jase always thought what he wanted, he didnt care what others thought about him, he wasnt about to change for anyone not even his stuck up brother. He had heard a lot about Max since he got here, and in all honesty for being a heartbreaker, Maxi beat Jase hands down, though saying that, Jase had been tied down for the past two years, but to go with a sister when the brother was the ex, that was something even Jase didnt do.
"Does it feel good always hurting people, Max?" "What are you talking about?" "Oh dont tell me its not a rush." "You like hurting people Jase?" "No, but I can tell you do" "How did you figure that out?" "Because if you didnt, you wouldnt keep doing it, would you?" "You dont know..." "Anything?"
Jase smirked, his brother was coming closer and closer to boiling with every word Jase said. Jase knew a lot more about Maxi than Max thought he did, people had taken pleasure in telling Jase every bad little detail about him, and Jase had loved hearing it. Sure, Max was popular, but he was hated just as much as he was liked.
"You do know people like discussing your life behind you back dont you?" "And I suppose you're one of those people." "Of course I am" "You should have been a Slytherin" "Why?" "Because you seem to be sly like one" "Just because I dont like you, and Im not afraid to speak my mind" "Whatever" "You should take a leaf from my book, you might not screw up as much then" "What are you implying?" "You're a screwup Maxi."

(( Mind if I pop in? (: ))
Felicity put her hands behind her head as she walked out of the school. The wind caught her hair and blew it away from her face. Mm, it was a nice day out today, even for October. Not too cold, not too hot, and it had a very nice breeze. Now what could ruin a day like today?
Two argueing brothers would certainly do it. Fay paused in mid-step once she noticed Maxi and some other boy. She blinked as they continued to talk, and Maxi had become more heated by then. Well, this might not end well. Felicity turned around and handed her books to one of the girls in her dorm and instructed her to take them back up there. Once she left, Fay walked over to the two.
"Hello boys, is there some problem?"
Felicity placed her hand on her hip and raised a questioning eyebrow. She glanced to Maxi for a moment, then switched her gaze over to the other boy. Huh, she didn't know who this kid was. Maybe a transfer? They had seemed to be getting a lot lately. Which was weird because they usually only recieved one once in a blue moon.

"Im a screwup? You know nothing about me!" "I know your screwing your ex's sister!" "Im not screwing her!" "You are, screwing her up." "What do you know about it?" "I know she's mad on you and you dont give a flying hoot"
Max paced away from Jase before pacing back. Jase knew he was pushing Maxi to the edge, Maxi was going to swing for Jase, or Jase was going to swing for Max. The only question was, who threw the first punch? Hearing another voice, Max turned to see Fay, the peacekeeper of all her friends, usually the peacekeeper between himself and Ash, but that was another story altogether.
"Yeah, there is a problem," Max snapped, "He thinks he knows it all." "Well I know a lot more than you think Max" Jase bit back "Are you purposly trying to wind me up?" "Is it working?" "Of course it bloody is! Even I get wound up" "You're such a girl" "Bite me" "Dont know what I would catch if I did"
Maxi's fists were clenched, he was sure nobody this annoying could be related to him. Trying to keep his temper in control, though it clearly wasnt working very well, he tok a few deep breaths. He wouldnt lose his temper infront of Felicity, she would only get involved if he did and she might end up getting hurt. There was that H word again.
"You're just resentful, Jase" "Why would I be resentful?" "Because dad never wanted you. You're the mistake of the family"

The men just kept fighting, coming up with comebacks so easily that Fay had to strain to keep up. This was getting out of hand. Finally, Maxi turned and noticed her, and he seemed to calm down at least a little bit.
Before Fay could even respond, they were back to fighting again. Her eyebrow twitched at the girl comment and she walked in between the two. Felicity pressed her hands against each of their chests and pushed them away from each other. She stood there for a moment, arms extended, in silence.
"Whatever problems you have with each other if really no business of mine." Fay dropped her arms and crossed them, sending a glare at the two boys. "But even I know that this is no way to solve your problems, whatever they may be." She took a small step back so she had both boys in her line of view. "Ticking each other off more is only going to end up in an even bigger fight with even more problems."

Jase felt the hand on his chest, as he looked Maxi in the eyes, his head was inclined upwards slightly due to Jase being smaller than Max, he could feel his heart slamming into his chest die to frustration and annoyance. Maxi knew how to push Jase's buttons just like Jase knew how to push Max's. Which was surprising considering the two of them didnt know eachother at all.
"Listen lady, you're intentions may be good an all, but this is between him and me, it has nothing to do with you!" "Dont you dare speak to her like that!" "Wash your ears out idiot! I didnt speak to her like anything I just stated a fact!"
The girl moved out of the way, Jase had a clear view of Maxi as Maxi had of Jase. The last sentance Maxi said threw Jase over the edge and before he knew what had happened properly, Jase's right fist had collided with Maxi's jaw, sending Maxi staggering backwards. With his left fist, he hit Max again, throwing the blonde onto the floor who seemed to be making no attempt to throw Jase off him.
"I may have been the mistake," Jase growled, "But at least I came out right, unlike you."
Maxi threw Jase off him and Jase felt a fist collide with the side of his own face. The two boys seemed to have a dislike for one another that right now would not be quenched so easily.
"Was that it Max? That was barely a kiss" "Im not a violent person like you, Jase" "Of course you are, its dad we get the violence from."

"I beg to differ. When you start hurting my friends, it has everything in the world to do with me."
There was a blur, and suddenly the boy's fist connected with Maxi's jaw. It took a moment for Felicity to comprehend what had happened, and by the time she did another punch was thrown. Her eyes widened. They really did loathe each other, more than she had expected at first. Fay had to surpress a shiver at the look they gave each other.
Maxi was back up, and he seemed to try to defend himself. Felicity made a split-second descision, and wrapped her arms around Jase's arms, trying to restrain him from punching Maxi again. She could just Stupefy him, but she didn't want to give either of the boys any more ideas.
"Stop it already!"

"This is a family matter and therefor is doesnt have a thing to do with you!"
Jase bit at the girl, he wouldnt have normally snapped at her but he was wound up and this matter between him and Maxi had nothing to do with anyone but him and Maxi, and it was stressing him out even more the fact someone else was getting involved who knew nothing about anything that was going on. Maxi was glaring at Jase, wiping the blood off his mouth from where Jase's fist had connected with Maxi's lip on the second punch, busting open his mouth.
"No wonder dad didnt want to know you, if you're this violent" "Your just having a hissy cause he cheated on you mum, Maxi"
As Jase went to smack Maxi again, he felt something grip his arms and realised that girl, whoever she was, had grabbed hold of him, and for a female she had a pretty tight. Jase turned his head around to look at her, this was starting to wind him up something awful, true he wasnt struggling but he knew what was coming. As he went to look back at Max, something hard collided with his jaw, sending both him and the other girl flying backwards, Jase landed in an awkward position but managed to stand up.
As Jase managed to stand up, something collided with his whole being, sending him flying off his feet once more. He landed painfully on his back, pinned to the ground with Maxi holding him down, Maxis blue eyes were piercing and full of hate, whereas Jase's green eyes were just showing loathe.
"Thats it Max, there's your violent side" "Better hope for your sake I keep it under control Jase" "No, This will do us both good"
Both Maxi's and Jase's faces were seeping with blood. Everyone on the lawns were watching them, Jase was surprised a professor hadnt come along yet to try and break them up. With a push, Jase managed to throw Maxi off him. Standing up, the two boys squared upto one another.
"Come on then Max. Make sure its a good one, cause if it aint, you'll be on the floor cold"

Felicity kept her grip on the boy's arms tight, making sure he couldn't move again to punch Maxi. She felt his eyes turn to her, but she just glared back, not breaking the boy's gaze.
Something slammed against the boy, and she could feel herself falling back as well. Fay kept her eyes screwed shut as her back collided with the ground, and her head cracked against it. Her grip on the boy of broken, and he seemed to have moved away from her. A small scream had escaped as she landed against the ground, catching some of the attention of the students.
Her head was pounding as she stood again, and she just managed to see Maxi tackled Jase. Fay pressed her hand against her head, trying to stop the pain. The boys were facing each other again, and both seemed worked up for another fight. Felicity tried to stumble over to them, to stop the fight again.
As Fay pressed her hand against her head again, she felt something sticky and wet on her scalp. She brought her hand down and looked at it. Blood. There was blood on her hand. Felicity blinked down at her hand, the gears finally moving in her head. She was bleeding, her head was bleeding.

((Butting In for Ally's sake. Hope ya don't mind Dan))
It was one of the warmer October afternoons as Laney made her way onto the lawns. She had planned to catch Jase but hadn't found him in the castle at all and figured he'd be either outside or in the common room. She had chocolate for him which was probably the dumbest reason to go looking for someone, but she was bored and figured he wouldn't mind a chocolate fix.
As she stepped out of the castle, however, she saw a group of students assemble around a couple of students. Two boys. As Laney squinted, she could make out the tall Blond Maxi and figured the other would have to be Jase. Why did he have to go looking for trouble? Carolanne took off in a sprint and pushed her way through the crowd of students. "Move! God Dammit, get out of my way!" She shouted.
Once past the growing number of students, she looked from the two boys wrestling on the ground to Fay. "You guys! Knock it off!" she yelled at the boys. Figuring they'd never listen, she went for Fay instead. Kneeling beside her she caught glimpse of the blood on her hand, "Oh, no," she muttered. "Max! Fay's bleeding!" she said in their direction.
Laney was beyond upset that they'd settle something like this. Maxi wasn't the one to fight yet there he was. "Fay. Fay, can you look at me?" She looked at the back of her head and saw the huge gash, followed by a rather rude four letter word. What the hell is going on?! She was almost ready to pull her wand out and settle the matter herself.

(( Woo! I have a savior ))
There was a sharp intake of breath as Felicity collasped onto her knees. She pressed her hands into the grass and curled her fingers around clumps of the blades. Fay shut her eyes, trying to fight the dizziness that was threatening to take over in her mind. Her head throbbed painfully as she clenched her teeth, trying not to cry out in pain.
There was a shout somewhere near her, and her eyes snapped open. "Laney?" She heard her own name be mentioned a few times, and then Laney was beside her. Fay turned her head slightly to look at the girl.
"Make them stop."
The edges of her vision blurred and she shut her eyes again, fighting to stay conscious. Fay moved her hand hesitantly to her head and pressed her hand against the wound. She gave a small cry at the surge of pain it caused, and her other arm trembled slightly. Her hand clenched the grass and another sharp intake of breath came.

"What is it with you, Jase? Do you like fighting or something?" "Why are you so persistant not to fight?" "Because other people will get hurt!" "Make's a change from them being emotionally hurt by you doesnt it?"
Maxi smacked Jase again for that, by now both Jase and Max were covered in blood, Maxi's left eye was nearly closed it was swelling that much, he had a cut down the left side of his face and his lip was busted. Jase would have a blackeye tomorrow and his nose was clearly broken. This wasnt like Max, he never settled things with his fists. That was a trait that did belong to their dad but Maxi never inherited it, or at least he thought he didnt.
Max! Fay's bleeding!
He heard Laneys voice, he hadnt even noticed she was there. Spinning to look he noticed Laney crouched on the floor beside their friend and Fay with her hand pressed to her head looking like she was going to pass out at any moment. Feeling a surge of anger, Maxi smacked Jase again, which made Jase laugh as though Maxi hitting him was funny.
"Now look what you've done!" "I didnt do it Max, you did. If you hadnt hit me while she was gripping me she would have been fine" "We'll settle this another day, Fays more inportant than you!"
Jase and Maxi made their way over to Fay and Laney. He knew that all three of them had to go to the hospital wing, and sure, Maxi was not looking forward to explaining all of this. He knew Fay couldnt walk, so trying to give a friendly smile, he picked her up in a firemans lift kind of thing. He doubted anyone could bring Jase and himself closer together, he doubted even these two girls could. Jase helped out, putting Felicitys arms around the tall blonde neck, even Jase knew right now was not the time for more fighting. They would finish this some other time.
"I'm taking Fay to the hospital wing. You better drag that worthless arse along too Jase." "Bitchy arent you?" "When it comes to you, yes. Laney, watch him for me please"
He said please in a nice way and tried to give her an apologetic smile. After all they had gone through this just threw even more boulders in the way. Still, right now, Fay was the most inportant person here.
"Im sorry Fay," He said pulling her up so her head was resting on his shoulder as he began to walk off to the hospital wing.
