The Ravenclaw common room was one of the most airy rooms of Hogwarts, with its wide, circular room with a midnight blue carpet. Arched windows hung with blue and bronze silks, and a domed ceiling painted with stars hung overhead. To say the room was pretty stunning was an understatement, and compared to Durmstrang, the room was heaven. Although it was airy, the Ravenclaw colours darkened the room somewhat, and it being midnight, the room seemed black. As he looked out of one of the windows, Brandon gave a sigh before looking at the clock. It was late, and he couldn’t sleep. It was one of those nights where it was cold but the air was stuffy, and tossing and turning in his bed had caused him to go into the common room. Reading? Didn’t work. Chess? Didn’t work. Exercise? Didn’t work either. The press-ups and sit-ups he had been doing for the past half an hour made him nothing but more awake. Now here he was, leaning on the window sill, bored and wide awake.
Looking over to the view of the mountains, he sighed. It seemed like he wasn’t going to get any sleep at all any time soon. Maybe a walk would help? Pulling himself up off the window sill, he made his way to the common room door. Opening it slightly, he peered out to see if it was clear to leave. Creeping out, he made his way down the stairs and down a corridor before turning a corner and seeing a prefect walking towards him. Putting his back quickly to the wall, he had to think quick. Casting the Disillusionment charm on himself, he changed colour to blend in with the wall behind him. As the Gryffindor prefect walked past him, he stopped breathing for a second to make no sound near him and reveal he was there. As the plan worked, the Prefect rounded the corner, and the light from the end of his wand was out of sight. Breathing a sigh of relief, he walked quickly yet silently down the corridor from where the prefect had just come, and down to the doors leading to the courtyard.
Walking down to the lawns, he sat under a tree near the lake. The view was outstanding and the small silent wind blew slightly, ruffling his hair. The smell of the air was fresh and warm, making the harshness of the wind less so. Looking out over the lake, he smiled to himself, and found himself drifting off to sleep...

It was hard to fall asleep in a room that was full of sleep talking girls. Usually, Fay was so wiped out that she would just collapse onto her bed and pass right out, but today that was not the case. She let Bray and Ellie hang out together, without her, to give them some ‘alone time’. So, what did our favorite veela do for the rest of the day? Absolutely nothing! She tried to study, but it was no use. And now here she sat, glaring up at the ceiling of her room trying to force herself into some type of slumber. But, alas, it was no use. With a small grumble, she threw her legs over the bed and stood up. Careful not to awake her room mates, she snuck out of the room. The common room held nothing and no one, which made this extra boring.
Felicity slipped out of the common room and glanced down the corridors. No one was coming, good. She probably should put some sort of masking charm on herself, but where was the challenge in that? So she crept down the hallway, and slipped out the doors. A gust of cold air hit her as she came outside, and a grin crossed her face. There was no moon over head to cast a glow on her, and make her pale skin shine more than normal. Fay took a large breath while a grin crossed her face. The night air was cool, even for April. But, she liked it. Felicity always preferred cold over hot.
Today had been somewhat of an interesting day. She had managed to wander around most of Hogwarts, before she ran into some more Claws about her age. They talked for a while, but the boys seemed clearly uncomfortable to be talking to her. Honestly, some people were such hypocrites. She left them then, not wanting to make the situation more awkward. And then, there was no one to talk to. So, she went to go help her mother at the shop. There seemed to be an abundant of kids at Honeydukes today, but that was usually normal. She even snagged some chocolate for herself. Which she happened to bring outside, conveniently.
Fay decided to go sit by ‘her tree’, as Bray had called it. She sits there a few times, and suddenly she owns the spot. But, whatever, not like she was complaining. Felicity cracked off a piece of chocolate and popped it into her mouth as she walked. She froze mid-step, noticing someone sitting underneath the tree. Fay crept forward a bit and leaned her head forward, tilting it so she could see the person. Brandon? A sigh was released as she realized it wasn’t a teacher. She grinned and plopped down next to him, but he didn’t seem to stir. Curiously, Fay glanced at him again, and noticed that he was snoozing. Outside? Not on her watch. Felicity snickered and pulled out her wand. ”Aguamenti” A small stream of water burst from her wand, aiming for Brandon’s face.[/blockquote]

As Brandon began to doze off, he tried to fight it, but was unsuccessful. As his lids closed. His dreams were wild and obscure. One about the lake and the giant squid popping out, eating mermaids, but he was dressed as a chef, with the black and white chequered apron and matching hat. The squid slid out from the water’s depths with a spatula in one tentacle, a barbeque fork in another, a sieve and a fish slice in another (why a fish slice, Brad was unsure, He thought it quite ironic) and over to Brad where he stood in awe of the size of the squid. The nearer it got, the larger it grew and the uglier it became.
Before it ate him, his dream turned into the time where him and Beckii were stranded in the forest. Her so scared at the lightning and his threats of Inferi stalking her through the forest, watching her every move. He began laughing in the dream, and was sure he was probably laughing in his sleep. It seemed mere seconds before he was being disturbed by a jet of water splashing in his face. Waking up with a start, he jumped slightly in his slumped spot before spluttering as the water jetted slightly into his mouth. Rubbing his eyes, and shouting some profanities at the stream of water, unsure of who had done it, he wiped the remainders of the water drops from his face before looking up to see the culprit. Still blurry eyed from napping, his vision took a moment to focus on who it was. Her dark hair and clear skin stood out most.
“Fay. I should have known, with a hex like that” he smiled, wiping his hands on his jeans. Looking around quickly, he realised where he was and how he got there. He sat dazed and confused for a moment before ruffling his hair a little. Remembering the dream of the squid, he glanced over quickly to the lake to make sure no signs of the squid remained, before looking back to Felicity. “What are you doing out here so late?”

Felicity laughed lightly as Brandon spluttered and jerked awake. She shot him an innocent smile and quickly pocketed her wand. "I'm guessing it was a good spell then? I was quite pleased with it myself." Fay brushed some hair from her eyes and snickered lightly at his expression. She certainly scared the wits out of him. Point for Fay!
"Did you have pleasant dreams Brandon? Dreaming of me weren't you?"
She grinned again, one of those large grins that filled up her face and made her eyes spark mischievously. A laugh escaped from her lips as she shoved him lightly. "Just kidding there Braddy. Most people only have nightmares about me anyway. I can't understand why though, I mean, I'm so lovable!" Fay huffed and pouted lightly, drawing her lower lip out and giving him a heartbreaking expression.
"I could ask you the same thing. But if you must know, I couldn't sleep. The girls in my room like to tell stories in their sleep. If I hear another tale about a princess I think I'll hurl."
Felicity shivered and made a face. All the girls seemed to wish that they could find their own prince charming, and suddenly their life would turn perfect. Sure, when she was younger she had the same dream, but reality smacked her in the face. The chances of it happening to anyone, let alone her, were little to none. At least she could live happy with her friends right?
Shifting her position, she layed back on the grass and placed her hands behind her head. The stars sparkled above her, brighter now that the moon didn't draw away their light. She reached up and traced a line of stars, trying to find pictures in the sky. Fay could remember doing that when she was younger, sitting on her roof with her father and trying to pick out pictures in the stars. A small smile graced her lips as she did so, and she chuckled softly under her breath.

Staring at Fay a moment in disbelief of her little spell she just cast, he raised his eyebrows before giving her a cheeky smile back. “Yes it was a good spell, but watch your back, I always get my man” he winked. Hundreds of pranks ran through his head on what and when he could pull a prank on Felicity to get her back for the jet of water. Patience would be a virtue, and he knew there would be a day where he would give her the perfect payback.
“You just wait madam” he said, sticking his tongue out at her. When she asked about whether he was dreaming of her, he couldn’t help but give a small chuckle. “You dear? Why on earth would I dream of you? Except ways on how to get you back” he said.
“And of course you’re in everyone’s nightmares Fay, especially if you cast water jets and thrown pumpkin juice at people, honestly, your mental, a total nut case!” he joked. Fay was a pretty funny girl. At least she could take care of herself, and knew how to deal with bullies. Those really pathetic girls who just sat and cried over every little thing were quite sad. As she sat and pouted, he couldn’t help but give another small laugh.
“Princesses? Ha! As if anyone of them would be princesses! I’ve seen trolls with more grace than the rest of the Ravenclaw girls!!” he laughed, utterly amused at the idea of the girls all wanting to meet prince charming. As Brandon saw Felicity was about to lay back, Brandon whipped out his wand and cast the Jelly legs jinx on Fay before falling back himself and laughing. The girl would now have to crawl around or do ‘the worm’ to move about. Laughing hard on his back, he turned his head to look at her. Hopefully she would find it as funny as he did. Looking up to the stars, he focused for a moment before pretending to see something in the stars.
“Oh look, a flobberworm” he joked as he pointed to the stars.

"You sound like Bray with that attitude." Speaking of which, she still had to introduce Brandon to him. Fay frowned for a moment at her forgetfulness, but then she glanced back at Brandon and smiled. Oh well, it could wait. It was too late anyway, and Bray would throw a hissy fit (ha, cat joke) if she woke him up this late. He was always so moody when it came to sleep.
Felicity raised an eyebrow at his chuckle. "Why because, I'm absolutely fabulous darling." She put on an over exaggerated French accent as she said it.
"Finally! Someone other than myself admits it. I was getting tired of people denying it to make me feel better." She rolled her eyes and snorted. "Apparently men think that I feel flattered if they contradict me." Fay shook her head. Some people were just idiotic.
"I couldn't agree more sir. My room mates are worst than me, and that's saying something." Felicity didn't have any time to block the spell, and she shot a glare over to Brandon. Fay pulled out her wand and muttered the counter curse. There were some perks when her and Bray were locked in prank battles. For one, she learned a lot of counter curses for jinxes. Fay pocketed her wand again and rolled her eyes at him. "You're going to have to do better than that if you really want to phase me. Bray's done it all."

[[Sorry it took a while to reply, I've had total blockage!]]
Laughing at Felicity’s over-active French accent, he couldn’t help but grin at her silly ways. “Bray? And who might that be?” he said utterly confused. He only had his sister and his brother, not to mention Maxi who he knew already, but now of course Fay too. Remembering back to the great hall, she said she would introduce him to her friends, which was nice of her, so he guessed Bray was one of them to be introduced.
“Princesses indeed, honestly, some people just have completely wild imaginations” he laughed. When he hexed her, she shot him an evil look in which Brandon just retaliated to by sticking his tongue out. Of course he was going to have to come up with a better prank than that to get her back, but that was just a filler for now.
“I’ll get you my pretty, if it’s the last thing I do!” he quotes a muggle film called the wizard of oz. “Have you ever seen that film? Wizard of Oz? Utterly ridiculous it is, thinking we have yellow brick roads and thinking we can give people hearts and brains and stuff, and flying monkeys! It’s so weird” he said. Being half-blood himself, he got to see his mother’s side of the world of course, so having both magic and muggle blood was great.
