Harry gripped his Nimbus 3000 tightly, straddling it. He looked to the sky, seeing nobody with his quick glance. He pushed off the ground, and burst into the air, his adrenaline rushed.
Harry flew a few laps around the pitch. As he looked to the ground he saw somebody walking toward the pitch, a broom in hand. Harry, being bored, descended, landing on the ground, now just feet away.

Ginny wanted some fresh air simply because she had a huge fight with her brother. He was such a bone head always running off at the mouth when he didn't know what he was talking about. He didn't like her choice of friends said she was getting too friendly with too many boys. Ginny wasn't going around snogging anyone she just felt comfortable hanging around with guys. She took off for the pitch it was the one place she knew could make her feel better.
She didn't even notice someone else flying around she was simply focusing on getting a broom any broom. Opening the boom shed she peered in trying to find one whose bristles didn't look like they were about to fall off by simply blowing on them it took a minute or two but there was a decent one all the way in the back. Digging and digging she reached it knocking down two or three of them in her haste. Bending to pick them up she reorganized the room before shutting the door.
The pitch was in sight and someone else had decided to spend their day the same way, but upon seeing her walk onto the pitch they flew back down and Ginny knew right away it was Harry. She no longer was that shy girl around him, she grown so was he no need to act...Well she didn't want to think about that now he was headed right for her. "Hey there Harry practicing?"

As Harry flew closer, landing in front of the girl, he realized she was none other than Ginny Weasley. Harry used to see Ginny as a twerp sister when they were younger, but as he grew, she seemed to mature faster and faster. She had grown into her looks, and found a personality that Harry loved being around. Ginny was now Ginny, and no longer his best friends younger sister.
"Ello Ginny!" Harry Greeted, a smile on his face as he wiped some sweat from his brow. "A bit, I guess." Harry nodded, "I just had to get out of that dark castle." Harry explained further, nodding in the direction of the stone castle.
Although Harry loved Hogwarts in all of it's beauty, he couldn't stand being cooped up all day. Especially somewhere that, being made out of stone, was normally always chilly, and dark in many places. "What are you doing?" Harry asked, curiously.

It was so nice to see Harry talking to her as if she were an adult. He used to think of her as a little sister which Ginny hated since she never once thought of him as a brother., It took some time for her to stop seeing him as something more though since it seemed he never really would. For now they were simply just friends at least until he changed his mind, came her thoughts.
As he walked over he didn't seem disappointed to see her so that was a good sign. Her smile widened as she glimpsed him she had trouble keeping a straight face when Harry was near.
"Yes sometimes I have to get out of there too. Plus my brother was being absolutely annoying so I decided to come out here and fly around the pitch a while. It helps to clear my mind a lot of the time you know. I hope you don't mind if I join you, I hadn't expected anyone else to be out here."

Harry saw a smile spread across Ginny's face. She always seemed to be so up and happy, which seemed to get Harry in a good mood himself. Her bubbly personality was much like that of all the Weasleys, but of course with her own uniqueness. They all seemed to add a flair to that Weasley base personality.
Ronald was a bit different, being quite shy and embarrassed at times, but of course, Ron seemed to get himself into some silly situations, some of the time with much thanks to Harry, as he had gotten Ron into them himself. As Ginny talked about Ron, Harry thought of the relationship he and Ginny had. Ron was very protective of Ginny, and always had been, and somehow Harry was too...
"Oi! What did Ron do this time?" Harry chuckled. He and Ginny were always at each others throats.
"I don't mind at all, Ginny. It's a free pitch." Harry smiled, turning his head to look at the pitch for a moment, turning back to Ginny. "So, wanna race?" Harry asked, raising his brow for a moment, an ornery, exhilarated, and challenging gleam in his eyes. Before Ginny could spit out an answer, Harry mounted his broom and shot into the air.

"Ron did what Ron always does, meddle in my business. I mean really who I hang out with is no business of his is it? I don't sit there and monitor his comings and goings yet it seems that I'm always on his mind it's just bloody annoying. I know you're probably going to tell me he's my older brother and I understand but it's just too much sometimes. I feel trapped, not like I'm growing up." She vented she hadn't meant to do it to Harry he knew full well how her brother was. "Sorry I didn't mean to lay this all at your feet I just had no one else to yell to." She laughed and felt better.
He asked if she wanted to race, Ginny knew that Harry would beat her but she always held out hope that one day she would out maneuver him. He hopped on his broom before she even had the chance to say yes. Laughter erupted from her as she hopped on the school broom she had and flew high up into the air feeling the wind blow through her hair as she tried her best to catch up to him.
"Harry Potter no fair you didn't even give me a chance. To say yes, you terrible" she giggled as she found herself on his tail. The broom she was on couldn't hold a candle to his. "One of these days I'll beat you I know I will" she always had fun when she was around Harry.

As Harry raced forward, the wind blew back his slightly shaggy hair. Harry slowed, not racing to his full capacity, hoping Ginny would not notice. He decided he might just let her win this time, or at least get close. Besides, the broom under him did give him a very strong advantage.
Harry heard Ginny laugh behind him, and he glanced back to see her smile. He loved hearing Ginny's laugh. It was just why he loved to make her do it. "Maybe you shouldn't be such a pansy and catch up!" Harry teased as he glanced back at Ginny once more, childishly sticking his tongue out at her. "Fred and George must have taught you something!" Harry laughed. They were nearing the end of the pitch, and Harry slowed.

She was laughing so hard as she flew with the great Harry Potter. He was an extraordinarily gifted flyer she heard mention of it all the time, but she'd never say so to him simply because she didn't want him getting a big ego. He asked her to catch up and she laughed harder. He was baiting her but she had no problems with that.
Laying flat on the broom she began to focus on him trying to get it to speed up. How she wished she had another broom to use but she was still holding her own. "I'll catch up to you one day Potter you just wait." She could see the end of the pitch coming up and knew that it was futile to keep trying. Again he beat her he always beat her.
"It's going to happen Harry I promise you that" she threatened, then started to laugh while she stopped next to him. "You just keep getting better." Yes she couldn't help it she gave him that ego boost drat her and her complimentary ways.
