Girty sat in the place, the place where the Guild met. She waited with only a few candles for company. She had cast spells and enchantments around the room to try and stop them from being caught but she knew that they were under some threat. There was a new member of the ministry wondering the corridors, there was a new problem for the students, a new target for The Guild.
It has been a while since the Guild had met, and from the last meting not much had been accomplished, in fact not much was agreed on last meting and this time Girty was going to make sure they came up with something, they decided something and took some action. Leaning back on the chair she watched the candle light flicker on the walls and the old wooden chair creak with the strain as she leaned backwards on it. Too her left was an old chalk board that had been taken from a classroom and upon that board was a list, a list of all the ministry officials that had been in the school, a list of all the known rogues that seemed to be living in the forest and the few people who were apart of the Red Rose League. They needed to keep a close eye on all these people.
Ministry Illyana Dietrich Esther van Haestregt Quinn Locksley Herbert Thyme Lucius Malfoy Mafelda Hundar Uriel Levinston Gregory Greenwich Gabriel Vandesar Chloe Greenwich Michael Lance
Rogues Simon Ellison Cattrim Rallon Jake Gobien Gabriella De Conti Rebecka McDyne

Bradyn wouldn't reveal his sources, but somehow he managed to get word that the Guild was going to meet this day. He had missed out on the chance to join before, since he felt that the ministry-rogue thing would just blow over with time. But clearly, action from the students was necessary and he would definitely take part in this. Bray knocked lightly before entering and saw that it was only Girty so far.
"Umm.. I.. was wondering if you... y-you'd let me join the Guild?" He said, his voice barely above a whisper. Bray knew how odd it must look for him to show up like this, but he pushed those thoughts away. Hogwarts was full of magic and the little things shouldn't surprise its students. He sat down across from Girty, feeling awkward and out of place but his determination didn't falter. This was what he wanted, and could they really turn away another member willing to fight for the cause? It was quite open for members at the start, and surely that wouldn't change over time. "The more the merrier, right?"
After settling his nerves with confidence, he finally allowed himself to take in the space that the Guild was meeting. It seemed like Girty really meant business, and he glanced over the names written on the board. 'Thank goodness, I don't see her name.' He thought after he spent extra time looking over their ministry listing.
[You don't mind, right? I got excited about the new plot action going on.]

Maria stepped silently into the room where the Guild was meeting. "Hello, Girty," she said greeted her friend and housemate with a small smile. Looking around the room, she immediately noticed the chalkboard on which Girty had taken the time to gather the names of all the ministry, Red Rose League, and rogues. "Excellent," she said with a nod of approval. This meeting should be much more productive than the last one had been.
Continuing to look around, Maria noticed someone else in the room, someone who had never before been a member of the Guild. "Hello, Bradyn," she said walking over and sitting down next to him, so that she was across from Girty. "So, I assume your presence here means you will be joining us."

Girty sat with her arms folded and waited until she heard the sound of shoes on the flag stone floor out side the room where they were. The wait was long and tense and every time she heard a noise her head turned to the tapestry which covered the entrance and finally it moved and Bradyn stepped inside. He looked slightly nervous and Girty felt like he was addressing her more as a Professor then as a fellow student but Girty shot him a wide smile at him and answered his quires with enthusiasm.
“Bradyn you are more then welcome! Glad you can join in and if you know anyone else please spread the word. Discretely of cause.”
She gave a small laugh and turned her head to see Maria walk in through the tapestry. Another Hufflepuff was always a pleasant sight and for it to be Maria made it even better. Girty welcomed her with a wide smile and a small wave before she turned back to the board and read the names on it carefully, mumbling each one under her breath. She could hear the other talking behind her but she absentminded started to talk to them, ignoring there own little conversation.
“Can you guys think of anyone else, anyone I have missed?”

Bradyn smiled as a more familiar person came in. "Aye, that's exactly what I'm here for." He hadn't really talked to Maria much lately, but he was glad to not be forgotten. "What has the Guild been up to lately?" Bray could get a hold of meeting times and the place, but he never could get what their plan was, of course besides the general fixing the ministry-rogue problem.
When Girty interrupted them, he turned his attention back to her. "Well, Rouges are always recruiting. I'd add Rebecka McDyne, the lady who used to stick around the lake, to the list but I haven't seen her in a while.." He thought for a minute, unsure of whether he should put some of the names he knew to the Ministry list. "And shouldn't you have the ministry split up into those who support Illyana, and those who support the rogues, or the RRL? But that would make it far too complicated." By now Bradyn was just brainstorming out loud, the best way for him to think but not quite the best for helping other people. Some would consider it just useless ranting, which it pretty much was.

Felicity slipped into the room, and for once didn't trip on her way in. She had been arguing with herself the whole way to the room, deciding whether or not she should join, or whether or now the guild needed her. Finally, she just decided to chance it. With a sigh, Fay pushed back her hair and walked toward Girty. She seemed like the one in charge.
"I'm willing to join the Guild, if you all will have me." A grin flashed across the veela's face as she looked around. Her voice did not waver, and confidence remained in tact. Act like a coward, might as well be a coward.
Felicity could tell that something was up, and she wanted in. She hated being in the dark about things, and she wanted to help in whatever way she could. Passionate was what some called her. But, then again, that was just Fay. She would fight to do the death, as she so often told everyone. Felicity was a force to be reckoned with.

Maria looked up at the list of names reading over them again, trying to think of anyone who Girty might have missed. All the ones that came to her mind were already on the list. Bradyn, however, seemed to have a few names to add. She smiled slightly. "Your list pretty much has most everyone covered that I can think of," she answered still looking over the list and thinking carefully. Finally, giving up on trying to think of anyone else she turned to Bradyn.
"Well, Bradyn, what we haven't exactly been up to much lately. You see our last meeting was a little less than successful. People weren't very keen on comprimising last time. It was mainly a bunch of arguing that led nowhere," Maria said with a glance at Girty. She could tell that Girty was determined to get things done today. It was good that the Guild had a determined leader like Girty.
Maria looked up at the girl that had entered the room, a fifth year Ravenclaw named Felicity. She seemed confident and more than willing to help. Maria was glad with the new additions. Now all they could do was hope that the other members wouldn't be discouraged after the last meeting going over badly.

Post by Jerred Boneman on Dec 28, 2007 23:15:10 GMT
Jerred appeared in the room behind several others. He had heard the discussion briefly before entering. He looked at Girty and smiled, before looking at the others.
'I am Jerred Boneman, resident Slytherin mischief maker though the little twins lately have stolent my thunder.' He said, crossing his arms. 'Information is abound, lately. I see you have lists of names of what factions people belong to.'
'You can put the old Professor Addis on the list of Rogues.' Jerred said, looking at Girty. 'Though he has shown his face about, he hides under another one. Who it is, I don't know. Rumour abounds you're romantically involved with a Rogue, as well, Girty. Maybe you may[/b] be able to sweet talk him into telling you, he'd surely know.'
Jerred smirked, though he lost it soon. 'Rumours also dictate that a higher ranked Ministry Official is coming. I don't know who, but there is one coming.'

Girty listened to what the other had to say and when Bradyn mentioned another name the Hufflepuff quickly wrote it on the board in the correct list. Any names were good whether they were a threat or not. It was then she heard the tapestry move once again and another person enter. It was another Ravenclaw and like Bradyn she too was keen to join The Guild and help out the student cause, a small smile flickered across Girty’s face as she greeted the new comer. “Glad to have you on board any extra pairs of eye, ears and hands will be useful. Enjoy yourself.”
The last part may not have been needed but really Girty wanted The Guild to be used as a place where action is taken but at the same time they had fun, after all they are only teenagers. Although they know and understood what was going on around them and it affected them and their families at the same time there were higher powers in the world, they could never realistically take on the Ministry by themselves, but they could always dream. It was then Girty heard an all too familiar voice, Jerred Boneman. This was one Slytherin who was not afraid to share his opinions and let his voice be heard, and most of the time he had a point, just like now. He was providing them with vital information although at the same time he still managed to have a playful stab at Girty.
“If you are on about Simon Jerred then….” Girty did not know what to say, she had no real come back to it so instead she agreed to what he had suggested. “…then I will have a word with him when I next see him.”
She looked over her shoulder and gave him a small smile and listened to what else he had to say, about the new member of the Ministry coming to cause trouble. That was the reason Girty had called the meting, why she had been so keen to get things moving once again, they had a threat in the castle and it needed to be stopped.

'So, I was right about you and a Rogue?' Jerred said with a casual smile, though inside he was filling with hope. 'And his name is Simon.' He laughed, before clapping eagerly.
His quickly calmed down though and crossed his arms. 'Whoever this witch is,' He said, putting empathize on witch in a bad light, 'she better watchout. Jerred's ready to come back and make hell for his last year at Hogwarts.'
He smiled devillishly towards Girty. She was the only one in the room who knew exactly what Jerred could do, though she was never the aim of any of his pranks as she was always nice to him. His pranks were always revenge, or just done out of boredom.

Felicity grinned and walked off to the side, so she wouldn't be the center of attention. "I'm Felicity Locke by the way, for those of you who don't know me." A smirk flashed across her face for a moment as she glanced over to Bray. Fay gave him a little wave.
Bray was probably the only one in the room who knew of her little 'talent'. And, of course, that was another reason whys he decided to join. She could probably prove as a very useful distraction, as long as all of the other guys knew how to fight her charm.
Felicity took a seat in a nearby chair and crossed her legs. "So, what's on the agenda then?"

Bradyn smiled at Felicity Locke and waved her over to come sit by him and Maria. He quickly turned his attention back to Maria as she continued to talk. "Ahh.." He said simply, not really having anything to say and he was trying to listen to what the new guy was telling Girty with. "Professor Addis, surely you're mistaken? Unless you mean Professor Everritt." Bray was being awfully rude interupting as such, but the adrenaline was starting to get to him. He was excited that today some action was going to be done.
"Aye, I heard that a new Minsitry witch was coming too. And I believe she's here, I've heard students talking in the Great Hall. Never seen such a malicious woman, so they say." Perhaps he was stretching the truth a bit too much, but she was certainly not at Hogwarts to spread any cheer. Ministry was tightening its grip on them, trying to throttle whoever went up against them in their battle on the Rogues. Suddenly the thought about that very person finding their meeting hit him, and he wondered how they were all sticking their necks out for a greater good.

Post by Henry Boggleworth on Jan 1, 2008 20:12:34 GMT
A voice echoed about the room as a past student slipped into the room, "you've missed someone Girty," it said, a dark figure stepped out from the shadows letting his cloak fall. "Me," he stated simply his smile broad as he swept an elegant bow, to dodge the wands that would inevitably point his way.
"Greetings one and all, I'm Boggleworth for those who don't know, and I'd fit into the Red Rose League list there, and interogation will sadly fail on me, I've been trained." he grinned about the room, his gaze then fell upon Girty, his smile widening at the look of pure shock on her face.
"Y'alright Girt?" Boggleworth asked chuckling, "I see you've done a remarkable job taking over management," he remarked, "we should have had you as leader in the first place." He really was happy for her and she was definitely organising things far better, he saw new faces mixed in with the old, Jerred Boneman in particular stood out like a sore thumb, and Boggleworth couldn't help but wink at him.
He'd been sent here, not having arrived by choice at first; the Red Rose League needed to keep tabs upon all goings on, the Guild should in fact be flattered that they kept an eye on them; for their own good, though no students would really believe that truth. At first he'd taken some persuading to 'spy' upon his old friends, but then their leader had pointed out the wisdom of such a move; it really would help them all.
Boggleworth couldn't help but laugh, the Guild was really very well informed indeed, students always made the best spies it seemed, that's why he was supposedly ideal as he'd only recently left the school, and still had friends there to help; supposedly. Only time would really tell.

Girty looked around the room trying to ignore Jerred’s little dig at how for once Girty had found herself someone and on top of everything it was a rouge. Although she was surprised how exited he seemed to be getting over her close relationship with Simon, maybe he had a bet with another Slytherin? In an odd way Girty had always liked Jerred, which was strange as she normal had a grudge against most Slytherins.
However it was when they were talking about the new Ministry official when Girty heard a voice, which at first she thought she had dreamt but something had told her to double check, to make sure she was not going insane and as she did her eyes fell upon Bog. Letting out a rather high pitched squeak Girty ignored everybody else in the room and ran over the her friend and before he could even finish what he had to say she had threw her arms around his neck and had planted a kiss on his cheek. It had been too long since she had seen Bog and for him just to turn up like this was more then she could ever wish. Letting go of him she stood back almost to get a better look at him, he could hear he was talking (a trait of Bogs) and as normal she was paying very little attention and was taking in how much he had changed over the time they had been apart.
“It is great to have you back Bog, although you clearly do have exterior motives.” She gave a small giggle and looked down at his left foot. “Maybe another stamp on your foot would seal the deal to make sure you do not tell our secrets to the wrong people.”

Erika slipped quietly and quickly into the room. Looking around, she realized that the meeting was already underway. "Excuse me for interrupting, but would you happen to have room for a new member?" she asked. Head held high, sharp, honey-gold eyes surveyed the room.
