The moon lay high in the velvet black sky, illuminating everything below with a pale, silvery light. The alley way sparkled with drops of freshly fallen rain and above the sky threatened to release another onset of icy tears. Small puddles had formed, pooling on the surface of sinking ground. This path she had taken had a threatening air about it in the dead of night, almost as if it were crying out an unheard warning of what lie in it's dark shadows. The silence was eerie, cloaking the area in complete solitude. Nothing moved, no sound could be heard, no sound but the ever nearing plod of light footsteps walking along the dark street. Ilea walked the street out of boredom and a need to be out and about. The stuffy closed space of the little restaurants and such that lined these streets made her feel constricted and tied down.
Wanting nothing more to escape she had found her way out into the night and carelessly into a deserted off street behind a brick building. The damp and cool air beneath her feet, evidence of a light rain apparent. Winding along the twisted walkways she eventually found her way to the end of the street. Interestingly enough, at the end of this street was a path that lead somewhere. She made her way through the darkness. It felt like a never ending path that went nowhere. Further down the path, Ilea glanced up at the sky above her, bustled clouds formed around everything. A storm was brewing and was ready to unleash it's flooding waters to drown everything in its way. Raindrops began to trickle down, the silk feeling of water touched her skin and rolled off onto the ground. Coming to the end of the path stood a whithered tree. It stood like a stone, holding the secrets of years past.
Gingerly she lay her pale hand against it's worn bark and stared up through it's tangled branches at the sky, the rain began to lash down and sting her and the wind began to pick up. Her light brown hair began to blow outward and twirling around as the lightening began to light up the sky. Turning her head to see a dark stalk-like shack nearby, Ilea decided to seek shelter within. She's heard many things about that place being haunted however she didn't believe in that sort of thing. Making her way up the steps and pushed the door open, she entered shutting the door behind her. Darkness engulfed her as she pulled her wand out and called 'Lumos!' to light up the room just enough for her to see. Ilea scanned everything within and saw stairs that lead up to the next level. Being that she was a Ministry worker, it was within her right to investigate it.. and up the stairs she went.

Staying in Hogwarts four walls all day everyday eventually became tedious and it was boring to walk the steps everyday around the castle and it's grounds. It was near enough impossible to get a private moment to yourself anywhere in the castle except for your room, and now Will's room was now in the dungeons, it was as comfy as his old room up near the Astronomy tower. Still, a room was a room and he needed to fix it up a little to make it more comfortable. Many things had changes in the past few months, one of them being Will was now the Potions teacher instead of the Occlumency teacher, but of course he still had the skill, and another was his best mate Daniel Hubbles was now the Headmaster and his little sister had taken his place as the Charms Professor. It was all rather odd, but it was good to see them doing so well.
Putting on his black jacket, he zipped it up fully and covered his mouth with the collar. He had not been to the shrieking shack since he was a student himself and to get a bit of privacy, he decided he would head there. As he trudged the gravelled path to Hogsmeade, the air became thick and cloudier. Looking up to the dark sky, a rumble of thunder was heard before he looked down again and walked down a small narrow path towards the small secret shack.
As the rumble became louder, Will slipped inside the old abandoned shack and up the stairs to look out at the window over the field. Standing at the window, the smell of the old shack crept up his nose, and as he sniffed up, he scrunched his face up disliking the smell.
Hearing a noise, he turned around quickly to see Ilea standing there. "Merlin's beard. Ilea, you scared me half to death!" he smiled. He had not seen the beauty for a while, and he was pleased to see her.

Hearing a crackle then a loud burst from the thunder, Ilea jumped slightly and looked out the window. A streak of light went through the sky lighting the outside up, it was beautiful which made her smile slightly. But during that loud burst, she didn't hear anything so if someone would have entered through the door of the shack, it would have been impossible to have heard it. Standing there at the window admiring the wind blowing through, the rain giving the leaves a gentle shine through the bursts of lighting and what sounded like drums banging as the thunder roared. Ilea always loved storms, but she didn't like getting wet, hence the reason she went inside. Sitting down upon the chair beside the window, her wand still lit in her hand and gazed out watching this whirlwind of beauty.
"This place isn't haunted," she said to herself as she put the light out on her wand. Laying it across her lap, she leaned back in the chair to get more comfortable. Resting her arm up on the windowsill, she stared outside, watching as the rain began to make puddles in the Earth's soil. Remembering back to her childhood, she used to go out in her raincoat and jump in them. A smile creased her lips when she thought about it. Where did the years go? It seemed like only yesterday that she was in school at Hogwarts. My how time flies when you least expect it to. A sigh escaped her lips as she stood up from the chair making it tilt back, then fall forward making a loud bang on the wooden floor beneath her feet. It wasn't until she had turned not realizing someone had slipped into the same room with her and at the time of the bang.
Turning her head and saw a shadow and then a bright streak of light went through the dark gray sky and the sound of a familiar voice "Holy Merlin!" She gasped seeing Will standing there saying that she had scared him, having her hand over her chest, she laughed "Talk about scaring you half to death, you scared me." she said trying to swallow her heart back down to it's rightful place. Walking up to Will, she smiled and wrapped her arms around him "Aside from a heart pounding scare, how are you?" she asked giving him a hug.

The last time he had recieved a hug from Ilea seemed like lifetimes ago. The feeling of her arms around him felt so alien to him, yet comfortable. Recieving the hug with a smile, he in return wrapped his manly arms around her in greeting. "Where the hell have you been?" he said, pretending to be cross with her for not seeing her for ages before breaking out into a smile once again. Letting her go, he turned around and sat on the window sill waiting to hear her whereabouts for all these months.
"It seems like months since I saw you last, heck, it probably is!" he scoffed, unbelieving that it was that long ago. Grinning like a cheshire cat, he was glad to of seen her again, as her face always lit up a room. She was one of the nicest people Will had ever had the chance to meet, and he was glad he did.
"So, any more funny stories to tell me about? Although I doubt you could beat the 'hide the wand' story you told me" he laughed, thrusting his hand into his inside pocket near his heart, he pulled out the trinket Ilea had given him last time they were in Hogsmeade. "I still have it, it's always in this pocket" he smiled.

Closing her eyes as Will wrapped his arms around her, she sighed quietly and smiled. Just the feeling of his hug had made her feel more at ease, then hearing him being cross with her about where she had been. Ilea leaned back to look back at him "Well if you must.." she started to say with defensive tone, until she saw him start smiling. "Why you little.." she broke into a smile. Watching him as he turned and sat down on the sill, she felt like she owed him an explanation. "Yeah it has been months and I'm sorry. I got called out for work, I had to leave without notice otherwise I would have come to tell you." she frowned looking from Will's eyes to the floor feeling almost ashamed for not saying anything to him. Taking a deep breath she let it out slowly then looked up at him, "So how are things at the school with you?" she asked curiously.
Ilea was glad to see Will again, even in the most odd weather conditions. Looking past Will and out the window, she saw how the rain and wind begin to pick up. Glancing back at Will, she heard him ask about anymore funny stories other than the one she told him about. Ilea's face had a light pink tint to it when he mentioned the story. "Um, unfortunately no new stories yet. But I promise you'll be the first to know." she replied promisingly. Ilea walked over to the window crossing her arms in front of her to look out at the winds blowing the trees as if it were trying to bend them in half. Turning back to Will for a moment, she notice him put his hand in his pocket and pull the necklace out that she had given him. Ilea's eyes lit up when she saw it and smiled as she walked over to him "I'm glad that you still have it." she replied.
Looking up from the dangling symbol of strength and at him, there was still that one thing about him that captured her. Something that she still had yet to be explained, it drew her close to him. Continuing to look at him, feeling like something was pushing her closer to him. Her eyes slowly followed to his lips and back up to his eyes, she paused and straightened herself only to walk back over to the window. The emotions within had her caught up in a web of mixed feelings. Lifting the necklace from inside her shirt, she pulled it open and turned to Will "I still have the rose you gave me." she showed him then added "I shrunk it to fit inside so that it wouldn't whither." she grinned letting it rest opened upon her neck.

As Ilea pulled out a necklace and opened it to reveal the rose he had given her the last time they met, Will couldn't help but grin. The gesture of actually keeping the rose, let alone going to the trouble of shrinking it and keeping it so close to you was so cute that the grin on Will's face grew bigger by the second.
"Well that's very sweet of you Ilea. I can't believe you went to all the effort just to keep it" his grin returning back to a normal genuinely happu smile. Wrapping his arms back around her, he gave her a big hug, happy that she wasn't MIA or just scared of seeing him again. Will tended to have that affect on women, they would want one thing, then never see him again. It was like a normal role reversal and he seemed to be attracted to the more 'sociable' witches of the world, but Ilea was different.
"No stories huh?" he said pulling her head to his chest and looking out the window, giving a big sigh, more than likely from relief, he continued to look out the window as he stayed there with her in silence for a moment longer.
"So can you tell me about this work trip, or is it confidential?" he asked. "And I changed from occlumency to potions professor, and my best mate is now the headmaster. A lot has changed since we last met, and my hair's been cut" he said, running his hand through his now shorter hair. "I miss it though, so i'll grow it back" he smiled.

Seeing the grin spread across his features, Ilea couldn't help but to grin herself. It was nice to know that he appreciated her effort of keeping the rose from their first date."Well, it's a symbol to me. Something that was given out of thought and from someone special." she replied as she closed it once more then let it rest on her chest. As he gave her another hug, she returned the hug much stronger than the first. Sighing softly "I missed you while I was gone." she had whispered, then leaned back "You were all I thought about the whole time." she said as she looked into his eyes. "Mmmm, no." she said in a hushed tone as she rested her head against his chest. Keeping her arms around him, her fingers ran over his sides gently. Ilea had never felt these sort of feelings that she had with someone. Sure she's had some feelings about some things, but nothing like what she was feeling now.
Never having been drawn to someone like she was to Will, it made her wonder if he felt the same way she felt. Of course, she wasn't going to ask either. Looking up at him when he asked about her trip, she didn't say anything at first, but only listened to him as he spoke about changing from Occlumency to Potions. "Ahh, sounds like fun." Ilea was always fond of Potions. It was a subject she enjoyed a lot. "But you still promise to teach me Occlumency right?" she asked with a smile, chuckling at how he said he had his hair cut. "It suits you very nicely." she said turning to the window to look out at the rain as it started to slow down a little. Ilea knew eventually that she would have to tell him about her journey, so she turned facing him with her arms resting around him.
"I was given a case by the Minister to go and capture this wizard who had been on the run for six years. Well I found him, however, it wasn't what I had hoped it to be. He was killed in a battle with another wizard only this one was a dark wizard." she sighed shaking her head as she looked to the ground. "But I'm home now," she whispered as a smile creased her lips and her eyes followed up to meet with his eyes. Staring deeper into his eyes, a flash of lighting struck close to shack, Ilea's heart raced feeling the rumble beneath her feet as the sound of thunder bellowed out from out of no where.

Will stayed silent, as he began to retrace the steps in his mind of how he met Ilea, and their first date, and all they talked about. The hilarious story of hiding the wand kept popping up in his mind and he did all he could do to stifle the laugh and keep calm in the current situation. Smiling, he looked down at Ilea and kissed the top of her head. Pausing as soon as he did this, he did well not to blush, and quickly continued to stare out the window at the trees that were being treated rather roughly by the wind and harsh rain that had started. It was strange how the two had met here, it wasn’t exactly the most usual place to be to meet up with someone now was it? Will certainly didn’t think so, and although the shrieking shack was cold, dull, rotting and old, it was still nice, and it felt private unlike everywhere else. You could get barely any privacy in the castle, certainly none in hogsmeade, and there were no other places you could really go without being hounded by students or drunken men.
Taking in a deep breath, he could smell her perfume, and it was somewhat relaxing to him. Smiling slightly, he let her go and decided to sit on the old sofa complete with patch worked pieces on it in random places. Looking around, he imagined it would of looked like a beautiful home back in the day.
“You know, I can imagine this would of been a really nice place to live once upon a time. It’s a pity nobody sorts it out” he said, glancing up at the ceiling that was holey and full of dust and cracks. Hearing her say she had missed him, and all she could think about was him, he grinned and patted the seat next to him for her to sit with him. “Likewise” he said, it was simply too hard for him to say it out loud right at the minute, but Ilea was getting cuter by the minute and all Will could do was grin at what she had been saying. To say she was beautiful was an understatement; she was pretty much perfect although Will could imagine many men being scared of her due to her job. He didn’t blame them, but he knew a job was only a job at the end of the day, and it didn’t make the entire person. “I’m growing it again, I got bored of the hobo look for a while, but looking like that for so long you kinda miss it” he smiled at her. “And i’m glad your back”

Ilea still held snug in Will's arms and had looked out the window to see their reflection, it was a sight that she had well not expected to see but nonetheless she felt comfortable being with him. From the moment the two had met, Ilea felt a connection between them. She wasn't sure if Will felt it as well or what? Feeling him kiss her head, she smiled and snuggled up to him and with her head against his chest, she could hear his heart beat within. The Shrieking shack may not be one of the most romantic places to be, or the cleanest, but it had it's moments. Like now. The privacy and the two of them standing there leaned against and embraced in each others arms.
When he had let her go, she folded her arms watching him as he moved to the sofa. Ilea turned back to look out the window and smiling to herself. When Will had spoken, she turned and looked at him to let him know that she was listening. Of course, she always listened and he knew that. "You know, I agree. Maybe we should clean it up a little." she joked with a smirk on her face. Seeing him pat the seat next to him, she obliged and sat down beside with him. "I like the way it is now," she said with a smile. Ilea leaned against him and rested her head upon his shoulder and looked up to him when he stated that he was glad that she was back. "I'm glad too." she whispered softly then leaned up and kissed his cheek.
