Maeve frowned a bit when he gave his humorless laugh. She poked him on his forehead. "You don't have to think about him anymore, at least." She grinned back at him afterward. "Well, Maxi and you make an awesome couple, Ashy."

Ashton smiled. "Yeah, that's true. Although with all these reminders it's kind of hard not to." he said softly looking down at the bruises that marred his pale skin.

Maeve placed a hand on Ashton's shoulder. "Hey. Don't think about him." she glanced at his bruise. "You know, I heard kisses help you heal faster. Maybe you should get Maxi to kiss it." she said, trying to lighten his mood.

Ashton smiled softly and leaned in to give Maeve a hug. "Thanks. For everything." he whispered softly in her ear. "So, shall we hunt down my wayward boyfriend?" he asked pulling back. He smirked, sapphire eyes alight with mischief, "And I can think of a few other places for him to kiss besides my bruises."

Adam had heard rumor of a before Christmas party in the Room of Requirement and had persuaded Lidia to take a few days off from her shop and check it out with him. He smiled down at her and took her petite hand in his own. "Ready?" he asked.

Lidia smiled at Adam. Some how he had managed to talk her into coming to this "party" with him. "Yes, I'm ready. Are you?" She asked, with a kiss to him cheek. It had been a while since she had been to Hogwarts and it felt like she was home.

Adam smiled, "You bet I am!" Walking into the room, he took one look and his jaw dropped. "Wow." That was all he could say. It was incredible! The music, the decorations, eveything! He looked around in awe, not noticing that his mouth was still gaping rather unattractively.

Maeve returned his hug. "No prob. What are friends for?" she grinned before faking a surprised gasp. "Why, I never heard such a suggestion in all my life." she tried to not laugh, but couldn't help it. "Alright, Ashy, now before you get any more suggestive, let's go find that boy of yours."

Mark had let himself go off into some form of little dream world. Though not the kind where you get pink roses and green daffodils, just the type where he stood there, staring in his own little world. Pulling himself out of his thoughts Mark shook his head, "Not doing that again" he mumbled to himself. Oh boy, where's Ari gone? he thought to himself, knowing he had seen her just a moment ago. In fact, where's Max dissapeared too?

Maeve smirked. "So, where in this room do you think your beau is?" she looked over towards Mark. "Do you think Marky would know?" she suppressed her laugh for her name for the Gryffindor she just met. "Do you all call him that?" she wondered aloud.

Lidia looked around in awe, yet, not the way Adam did. "Adam, please close your mouth before you start drooling." She whispered with a laugh. She slowly started to make her way around the room. Lidia noticed the people there and what they were wearing. Some people she recognized from her school year here and others she did not. However, there was one that stood out. The boy with the gorgeous eyes she had met in Hogsmeade, Ashton. Lidia looked at Adam, with a smile of gratitude. She had needed a break from the shop and what a wonderful way to take one.

Maxi came off the dancefloor, he was now really warm and slightly tired, though it could easily be cured by a nice pumpkin juice. He walked over to the bar where Mark was stood, "Alright mate?" he asked, "How'd the dancing go?" Maxi smirked as he looked at Mark, he loved winding him up.
