Bio: Daniel McLane is the father of Ravenclaw 6th year Ashton Jade McLane. When Ashton was born, his mother died, and Daniel, stricken with grief blamed his young son. When Ashton turned five, Daniel began to abuse him and neglect him. This went on until he went to Beauxbatons in France where his father had grown up and mother had attended school. When Ashton was a fifth year, he transferred to Hogwarts. Daniel found out from a letter his son sent him later that year, that Ashton was gay, and in a relationship. Now, Daniel is on his way to Hogwarts, to 'talk' some sense into Ashton.
