Ash sighed, he couldn't believe he was doing this. Facing the whole school with his new boyfriend, who just so happened to be his sister's ex. He squeezed Cris's hand and smiled. "You ready?" he asked, bracing himself for the stares and exclamations of surprise that were sure to come. He didn't care though, as long as he had Cris by his side, Ash could handle anything.

Cris looked back at Ash at the entrance to the Great hall. He was a little nervous, but he was sure everyone would see they deserved to be happy too. "Yup, As ready as I ever will be" he squeezed Ash's hand back, and opened the Great Hall doors, leading Ash in behind him.

Ash smiled in return. They entered the Great Hall together hand in hand, and immediately the whispers started. Oh my god! Is that Ashton and Cristian? When did they get together? Ash glared at them, wanting to curse them into oblivion. He turned to Cris and smiled, "Well, I think the worst is over. I hope..."

Something was about to happen. Erys could smell it on the breeze, the winds of change. Unsure if this had anything to do with the latest rumor flittering about like little malevolent butterflies, the Slytherin slapped her eyes to the doors of the Great Hall, waiting for whatever was coming to pass through them. Arching an eyebrow at Cristian and Ashton as they entered - one of her signature, trademark looks - the animagus did one of those sarcastic 'oh god' eye rolls. So this was how they planned to combat Laney and Maxi's relationship drama? Smash the ex's together and teach them a lesson? Wow. Very mature, guys.
Or perhaps this was their way of making it through everything. Of moving on. Hell, Erys had to give them that much, after all at one point she was the topic of their rumors, when Joshua abandoned her. That was over now, and a whole new menagerie of whispers and murmurs had started. It was bound to happen, their pairing. "Hm." Erys grunted, nodding at Cris, as if saying she wasn't about to say anything. If that made sense, heh. Do what you must. Was what they would see in her eyes. After that little moment of integrity, the honest gleam vanished, and she was the cold, apathetic Slytherin queen once more.
Turning her head back around to continue eating her food, Erys listened in on the angry thoughts and feelings radiating off of nearly everyone present. Why should they feel so pissed off? Well, many of them were sure to be Laney and Maxi's friend, so they had an excuse. Everyone else were just friends of friends of them. Wow, high five for drama.[/color]

Cristian noticed Erys straight away. She was a nice girl once you got to know her, although he knew nobody but slytherin's or cunning ravenclaw's would see that side of her, but she almost always seemed to seem sociable with Cris, and he was glad she was. He nodded back towards her, in a way of saying 'This isn't payback for them'. She could probably read his mind anyway. He tried to ignore all the whispers and stares from everybody, but he couldn't help but look around and frown at a few unfamiliar faces. What the hell did it matter to them? They sat down at the Ravenclaw table and Cris let go of Ash's hand to grab a drink. "It wasn't that bad, was it?" he sighed.

Ash smiled, "No. But we don't know what might happen next. Who cares though, right?" He looked around the Great Hall, it was buzzing with noise and activity. He smiled to himself, he had to admit, maybe what had happened was for the best. Maybe he was meant to be with Cris instead of Maxi.

Cris smiled and gave Ash a cheeky grin. He could sense his feelings. "It'll be alright in the end" he said, nudging him gently.

Ash nodded and wrapped his arm around Cris's waist, "Yeah, it'll all be okay in the end." He yawened slightly, "Wow, I have got to start getting more sleep." He muttered as he reached for an apple.

Cris looked at the apple Ash had just picked up and decided he quite wanted some fruit. He picked up an orange and began to peel it. "Did you get much sleep last night?" he asked, looking at him as he carried on peeling the orange.

Ash yawned again, truth be told, he hadn't slept properly in about a week. He leaned against Cris and sighed, "Honestly, I have't really slept in about a week. It's either sleepwalking, and if it's not that, it's insomnia."

Cris looked shocked. "Sleepwalking? That's crazy! I normally sleep talk" he laughed. "I'd be freaked out if one night you sleepwalked into my dorm!"

((Hey, why don't we have them share a dorm? seperate beds of course though!!))
Ash laughed slightly, "Cris, we share a dorm. Where is your head today?"

"Ha, I dunno. All over the place" He laughed. "Yum. I dunno what else to eat!" He said looking around the table at all the food.

Ash smirked suggestively, placing his hand on Cris's thigh unseen under the table, and giving it a gently squeeze. "Been thinking about anything in particular?" he asked.

Rumors were flying around the school by now, both about Laney and Maxi, and now apparently Cris and Ash? Felicity hadn't been told about this particular pairing, and she thought it was just a bunch of hoopla anyway. She tended to ignore rumors, they just bugged her.
So here she was, walking into the Great Hall with some books tucked under her arm. Fay was planning to just grab a quick something and go, so she could study with Ellie. But something stopped her in her tracks. The hairs on her arms rose and she could feel goosebumps forming. It was that horrid emotion:
Lust.
She could feel that, along with several other love-type emotions. It was mostly generating from one area, and she turned quickly to see who were the culprits. Once she saw though, Anger instantly flooded through her. The rumors were true.
Felicity was fed up, whatever patience she had retained during this week had finally been used up. She had been understanding toward Laney and Maxi, because she could see the truth beneath their bond. But Ash had pushed her over the edge.
One thing that Fay did not tolerant was fickle partners. They switch from person to person, depending on their mood. And, each time, they hardly care what happens to the other person. When Maxi broke it off with Ash, she was understanding. She comforted the heart broken Ash, she played the good friend. Felicity was finally tired of being the support system.
"How could you?"
Fay had finally walked over to the pair, and her hands were trembling from the effort. Her body screamed for her to run, because their emotions were overwhelming her system. But there she stood, piercing gaze locked on Ash. She had never turned her glare, or anger, on her very emotional friend. But it seemed she finally snapped.
