"Whoa calm down sailor" Mark laughed when Ash more or less knocked him off his feet when he seemed to cry gleefully at his approach, "Im spectacular darling, absolutely wonderful, with the side line of annoyed because Maxis a im-too-good-for-fun-because-im-a-prefect persona" he shrugged.

Ashton snorted. "Those are exactly my thoughts! I never get to spend time with him anymore. And when I do, he's like a different person. Ash sighed, "It's like I don't even know who he is anymore. Hell, I don't even know who I am!" he said softly.

"Your Ashton McLane" Mark said simply, "Dont go losin' ya'self mate. It aint worth it" Mark shrugged, he wasnt very good at trying to bring people back up so he usually left them down, "Well Max is gonna' have a rude awakening when I see him, I can guarentee you that" Marks voice became sharp, it felt like he'd lost his best friend.

Naruto sat quietly watching the exchange knowing it would be rather rude to inturrupt. She could not really bring herself to disrupt such a friendly display anyway. She sighed with a sad smile thinking of her beloved Ramen.
"Does anyone really know who they are? If you follow your heart or your brain is that really who you are? Or is it something else?" Naruto mused in a sort of quiet voice.

Ashton scoffed back. "Hey, I am a Ravenclaw through and through I'll have you know! Just because the rest of you want to waste precious study time, doesn't mean I want to!" He shot back as he playfully stuck out his tongue. His tone quickly turned serious, "Besides, our NEWTS are next year, and if we want to get the highest grades possible, then we need to start studying this year."

"Dude, I'm a second year. I ain't studying ever. Beside why waste time stressing about studying. If you don't already know it your not going to know it when the time comes. Besides, I already knew you were completely mad after just meeting you." Naruto teased sticking her own tongue out playfully. "Of course people that study aren't the only ones that are mad." Naruto cackled maniacally. "Besides, sane people are boring."

"No way. If I let myself stress out over anything it'll just cause a migraine. Therefore I shall keep my lazy 'I don't care' rule of life. I have never once studied for anything in my life and sleep through most everything. I finish homework last minute and Polaris is constantly hounding me about it but I can't bring myself to care enough to change." Naruto responded with a wide lazy grin.

Ash raised his eyebrows, "You know, I'm not trying to be mean here, but I have to be honest with you, that attitude will get you nowhere in life. What are you going to do, when you start working and don't even last a day at you first job, because you're being lazy? We all have to take responsibility for our actions sooner or later. Better sooner than later." He smiled, "Luckliy for you, you still have alot of time to learn."
