Cristian had arrived pretty early for breakfast compared to usual. There were only a handful of students in the Great hall at this time and they all seemed dozy and quiet. He was quite chirpy today for no reason whatsoever. He entered the hall and sat down in the middle of the table to be able to people watch more easily. A few owls came flying through an open window and one ended up dropping the letters it was carrying into a bowl of cereal, causing the milk and flakes to spread across the table and the floor, and soak the boy who the post was for. Cristian gave a little laugh to himself before shutting himself up. He watched as the young boy stood up and wiped his robes angrily with the owl, and the Owl just looked up at him with sorrowful eyes. He shoo'd him off and then opened his mail, the first one being a bright red coloured envelope. A loud shouting came from the letter a moment later, Cristian stared at the letter as it more or less screamed at him. He just looked at it in horror then hung his head low. Cristian was glad he never recieved such a letter, he didn't know whether he'd hate the fact that his hearing would be damaged or the embarrasment of it happening infront of everyone. "Why do they always miss their target? Stupid bird" the boy was overheard to say. Cristian just smirked, then looked back to his table and grabbed a few slices of buttered toast and a big mug of tea.

Strange, how Erys Grace was up bright and early for breakfast this morning. She hated morning people, they quite literally disgusted her. Why wouldn't you want to sleep for as long as possible? Bah, she knew not the answer, preferring to dream in la la land rather than wake up. Most of her friends knew that, in fact they'd be astounded if not flabbergasted to see her up.
Anyways, the Slytherin forced herself up, compelled for some reason to get the best bagels and breakfast this morning. Stretching with a very cat-sounding yawn - more like a mrowl, even - she didn't bother to change out of her pj's, which were at the moment a dark green tank-top and oversized black bottoms, tied with a green satin ribbon. Somehow she actually pulled off the grungy-sexy look, even if she didn't think so. Slipping into cat form to make her way out of the common room, through the halls, up some stairs, and into the Great Hall, where she promptly noticed all the assembled morning-risers. The number was few, but still a little more than Erys had anticipated. Hm.
Unable to resist hopping on to the table and leaping at the nearest owl that flew too low, Erys Grace slapped her paws at the small bird, dragging it down to the table beside Cristian. Expecting a horrified expression from the Claw's face the abnormally large feline seemed to roll her eyes, removing her big paw from the bird's neck to watch it flap away, terrified. Moving down to somewhat beside him, the Slytherin changed back, brushing a grey feather from her shoulder. Laughing, she nearly wiped tears from her eyes, as a Hufflepuff girl cried out and ran to her precious pet. "Hilarious." She murmured with a grin, more to herself than anyone else.
Crossing her legs, not even bothered by the fact that she sat at the Ravenclaw table of all places, Erys snatched up the nearest bagel, lathering the top with cream cheese and taking a big, voratious bite.

Cristian had just taken a bite of toast when a bengal cat appeared out of nowhere and swiped at a bird, pinning it. He watched gobsmacked, then noticed the cat change to a Slytherin girl, Erys, who he had briefly seen and spoken to before. "Hey. That was cool. I've not seen you in a while, whether that be in cat form or not" he smiled at her, before taking another bite of toast.

Wow, a 'Claw was smiling at her. Seems like that was a first. Well, not a first exactly, as many had done so before. The ones that should've been in Slytherin, at least, like Jeremy Wheller. Now he was a class act. But enough of her thoughts now! They seemed to take up alot of her life, the fact that if you didn't think things through you'd get eaten alive out there still standing. Erys shrugged her shoulders, secretly basking in the compliment like a cat on a sunny windowsill. Emphasis on cat.
"I'm only seen when I want to be." She whispered mysteriously, stretched her hands to let her claws out momentarily. Licking cream cheese off her fingers, Erys found herself in a pleasant, non-ass-kicking mood at the moment, lucky for him. 'Claws weren't that bad though, they were just underneath Slytherin. She didn't mind some of their company, as they were basically really smart Slytherins that weren't bad enough for her house. She wouldn't date one, though. That'd be too far. So for now, she'd enjoy their company. Some of them, at least.

Cristian watched as Erys stretched and began to lick the cream cheese off her fingers. He then decided to have a gulp of his tea, as the thought of cream cheese made his mouth suddenly dry. "So, when did you find out you could become an Animagus?" he asked inquisitively. The thought of being an animagus was amazing to him. He was starting the tutoring but had no idea what it would be like to change into an animal whenever you felt the urge. It gave so many more opportunities to life than what you already have. He thought about this for a moment, and wondered what Erys had seen through her feline eyes that she could never of possibly dreamt of seeing just being a human.

Erys laughed a little at his question, "You dont just find out. You have to train rigorously, for years. Its very hard, and not everyone has what it takes to change into an animal. They cant handle the transformations and lose their minds." Looking at him pointedly now, she added, "In the past there had only been seven registered animagi ever. The talent is extremely, extremely difficulty to master, and you have to be a certain age to register. There shouldn't be so many younger kids becoming one, and there shouldn't be a class on it." He might be able to tell how displeased she was on this matter; her eyes even flashed an angry green for a moment.
"Anyway.." Erys then said, shaking her head to clear it, "Good luck trying to achieve it." She knew he was in the animagus class, and whether that made her look down on him, he'd never know.

Cristian watched Erys as she spoke, and noticed her eyes flash green for a split second as his eyes met hers, her eyes were back to normal. He bit his lip in thought and decided to just tell the truth; "I probably won't be any good at it, But it's a skill I would of liked to have already in my blood, like you seem to have, because I know a lot of people have trouble controlling it too. You seem to have mastered it well though" he said with a slight smile. The truth was he was impressed by her ability of being an Animagus. He looked down at his plate where his toast had just been, leaving thousands of crumbs over it, and partially over the table. Serves him right for not looking what he was doing while talking to Erys. "But hey, If I'm not good, it's not the end of the world" he said simply. He held out the orange juice and raised his eyebrow as he said this, hinting to Erys asking if she wanted some.
