Ha I know it sucks... worst allergy ever!! One of my favorite things to eat is Peanut Butter and Apples, but i'm allergic to apples too, and that includes apple concentrate so a lot of other fruity candies I can't eat a lot of!!! *cries*

Technically the people who live in New England (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Conneticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island) are classified as 'Yankees/Yanks'.

But on a continental view, you're right if you're refering it towards yourself as a U.S. citizen. (Even if it's somewhat of a slang term and a bit derogatory.)
