Lex had been wandering around the castle all day, getting lost and exploring as much as she could before she was bored of being trapped indoors. After finding her way out from a rather tricky corridor that seemed to be like a never ending labyrinth, she made her way to the lawns. It was nearing the sunset, and Alexa had decided to spend it out on the grass, soaking up the last rays of the days sun. She walked over to a large free space of grass that looked perfect. Sitting down, she looked over passed the lush lawns and onto the sparkling lake. Smiling, she realised she'd made the best choice of her life by coming here, she just wondered why she didn't do it any sooner. She lay onto her back and stretched her arms out before sliding them under her head. She looked up to the sky and smiled. She closed her eyes for a moment, then opened them again, to jump when she saw a face leaning over hers.

Such a nasty, bright day. Full of sunshine and squirrels making rotten baby squirrels. Sparkles and glitter and flowers! Ugh. Idiots, the lot of them. From the moment a new scent wafted over the lawns, Erys Grace found herself alert, scouring the grasses to find the owner. They were fresh to Hogwarts, no doubt, and this meant she needed to find out who they were. Or perhaps Erys never even noticed her. Ah, well. What must be done, must be done. To keep tabs, you know, as every intelligent Slytherin did. The moment she caught a glimpse of the crimson badge sewn into the chick's cloak, the bengal cat hissed to herself - another Gryffindork! Lovely. Though, this might be the girl that gave the Sorting Hat quite the dilema. It was determined to shove her in Slytherin, yet she pushed for Gryffindor. Strange, very strange.
Stepping out into the last dying rays of the sun, the Slytherin's next step was that of a human, as she quickly changed back into her beautiful self. Stalking over the lawns, Erys made her way over to the newcomer, arching an eyebrow and leaning over her, "Who are you?" Her tone was dull, uninterested when the truth was the opposite; she needed to know who she was. For a moment the animagus briefly wondered if she knew who she was. Apparently her reputation was quite popular around school.

Startled at the girl's dullsit tone, she sat up and turned around to see who the upside-downy face belonged to. Could this be the infamous Erys that she had heard snippets of information about? Possibly. "Hi, I'm Alexa Prince. Who are you?" she smirked, testing the waters to see if it was who she thought it might be. She licked her bottom lip and extended a hand, knowing if it was her, she sure as hell wouldn't shake it in acceptance.

She assumed right. The Slytherin arched an eyebrow, staring down at the outstretched hand as if it were gum underneath her shoe. A nuisance, and nothing more. "Erys Grace." The animagus introduced herself casually, leaving the palm hanging there. You dont accept peoples hands unless you were positive they were worthy of your handshake. "So, what, are you new around here, or..?" Erys trailed off, drumming her fingers against her crossed arms expectantly.
It was close to being dark now; her favorite time. Night. Her eyes were already adjusting, sure to reflect the last breaths of light. Like a cat's, her pupils would seem to glow, when it was only the light they were reflecting. Quite eerie indeed, but Erys loved it. It made her even more mysterious, even more cat-like.

Alexa raised an eyebrow, what else would she of expected from her? A bloomin' medal? Of course not. Pretty Erys was, Civil she was not. "Yeah, I transferred from a private magic school. I came here to be with my brother, Cristian. He didn't know I even existed" she explained. Alexa put a firm hand on her hip, and relaxed her pose. "So, Slytherin huh? That scabby hat had a bit of a pickle with me. It was deciding for half an hour whether to place me in Gryffindor or Slytherin, eventually the bloody thing decided on Gryffindor. I don't really know the in's and outs of the whole house thing, except biast reviews" she smirked, drumming her own fingers on her hip.
