"Oh," Jac said, seeming a little crestfallen. She didn't want him to go and she didn't want to go either. But needs must and they had responsibilities. Leon began to swim back to shore and Jac stayed where she was for a moment, letting Leon pass her by. He seemed to not be happy with the thought either and Jac didn't like to see him down. Thinking quickly, Jac tried to figure out a way to cheer him up some.
An idea came to her and she quickly swam up behind him. Wrapping her arms around his neck, Jac let her body float to the surface and stay buoyant. "May I have a ride to shore please?" she asked so politely that you'd scarcely have believed the words had come out of her mouth. She smiled at Leon, blinked her eyes purposefully and then winked cheekily.

Leon stopped as Jac wrapped her arms around his neck. He grinned as she asked him a question politely for once. "Alright then miss, put your legs around my waist then" he said preparing himself. "You ready?" he said. He knew exactly what he was going to do. He smirked at the thought.

When Leon didn't protest Jac began to worry. He was planning something, Jac could just feel it. Frowning, Jac looked at Leon with narrowed eyes. What are you scheming? Jac wondered to herself.
When he asked to wrap her legs around his waist Jac only hesitated for a moment but obeyed, wrapping her legs around his muscular waist loosely. She wanted to be certain that if he did something she could do her best to get out or turn in around on him. "Erm," she stumbled, "I guess..." She wasn't really but there would be no time like the present.

As soon as Jac put her legs around him, he dived under the water a little so it looked as if she was riding a dolphin. He made movement like a mermaid as he began to swim, then just before shore, he turned around and made the squid noises at her again. He laughed and pulled himself out of the water

The outcome was not totally unexpected and to her surprise, Jac didn't leg go. She held on and let Leon carry her towards the shore. She laughed, when she could of course, but held Leon tighter as they skimmed with ease through the water.
Leon's noises that Jac guessed were supposed to be the squid made her laugh so hard all the air burst from her mouth and she made sure her head was above the surface of the water. Jac punched Leon lightly on the arm and smiled at him.
From where they were, Jac could stand. Letting go of Leon, Jac planted her feet on the ground, the water coming to her waist. It sloped gently towards the shore and Jac began to walk towards their little picnic spot. They had come to the shore quite a bit away from where they had set up and Jac sighed, knowing she would have to walk there in her wet underwear. She smiled, however, as it had been worth getting wet.

Leon slid out the water on his belly, and still carried out pretending to be a squid stuck on land, as he flapped about on the grass. He was a fool, and he made himself laugh sometimes just because he was so stupid. "Well then missus wet knickers!" He laughed. "I better be off" he said pushing himself off the floor and pulling up his clothes with him. "I'll see you later Jacky baby" he winked as he ran into the castle, while still in view he did that side heel click in mid-air, then attempted another one the other side, but fell over due to him being so wet it made the short grass slippery. He rolled over and look at Jac, he laughed and ran away pretending to be a fairy out of sight into the castle.

Leon made a comment on her wet underwear while grabbing his things. Jac stuck her tongue out at him while reaching for her robes, pulling out her wand and waving it at herself. Her underwear was instantly dry. She was getting better at the wordless magic stuff. Pulling on her skirt, Jac waved at Leon as he ran off.
She bent down to pick up her shirt and looked over to Leon as he fell. Jac laughed loudly so she could be sure he heard her. Waving at him again, Jac put on her shirt and began to button it. Looking down at the picnic basket Jac thought she would stay a while. Shaking her wet hair, as she hadn't dried that, Jac sat on the blanket and pulled the basket towards her. Her legs crossed, Jac opened the basket and reached in, taking out a toasted sandwich. Checking what was in it, Jac grinned appreciatively as it was bacon, lettuce and tomato: her favourite kind of sandwich.
Taking a big bite, Jac took her wand in hand and looked up at the castle. She knew where her ruck sack was and that the window next to her bed was open. Waving her wand, Jac continued to chew and wait. Soon her ruck sack was flying towards her and landed hard on her lap. She caught it with a loud, 'ooph!" Putting the sandwich in her mouth and holding it there, Jac dug in her bag and saw she did have a free now. She would stay where she was until she had to go to Care in an hours time, happily enjoying being outside.
