The castle had grown boring to this young Gryffindor girl and she was thinking a little adventure was in store for the afternoon. It wasn't like she didn't have anything to do, she just didn't have anything she wanted to do. Sure, she had homework that needed to be done, essays that needed to be written and letters to Mum and Dad that needed to be sent but Gwen just wasn't in the mood on this nice winter day.
What to do, what to do, she thought as she wandered around the Castle that morning. It wasn't until she ran into Jamie Carron did she come up with the idea to take a trip to the Shrieking Shack. "Oh come on, it should be fun! You never do anything with me," she said as the walked into the Gryffindor Common room, "Look, if you decide to come, I'll be outside the shack at quarter past three."
So there Gwen stood, leaning against the fence as if she'd been there thousands of times before. It was three, fifteen more minutes until Jamie showed or didn't. He wasn't exactly a close friend but he was a friend. They had met in her first year in the common room of course, if memory served her correctly, she had ended up tripping the boy on accident as she tried to hit one of his friends. Ah, the good ol' days.

"Your always up to something Gwen" he said suspiciously when she told him to be at the shrieking shack at quarter past three.
It was now five to three, and JP couldn't help but be anxious. Should he sit here consumed by his homework, or actually go and meet Gwen? He knew which one would be more fun, and the need, or want to go and meet her at the shrieking shack was growing. Sighing, he packed up his stuff and threw into his bag, before tucking it down the side of the roomy chair.
Pulling on his green hoodie, and his dark blue scarf, he walked out of the gryffindor common room and headed to the shrieking shack. It was growing colder, yet the sun was still out. Unusual weather for a december day, but Jamie didn't question it. Spotting a body far away propped up again a fence, he knew she was waiting. She must of known that he would show up. Damn her.
Finally reaching her, with his hands thrust deep into his jean pockets, he raised his eyebrows. Looking at the expression on her face, she was rather pleased with herself. "Curiosity got the better of me" he replied to her expression. "So Gwen, what did you have in mind?"

Waiting wasn't exactly a fun thing to do, especially when you were as impatient as Gwen. She liked things done her way and preferred people on time or early but with friends, she let things slide more than it should. Jamie was nearing her way and she stood as if she had only gotten there herself instead of waiting nearly fifteen minutes for him. She didn't expect him to show but she was happy he did. Besides, he was one of the nicest guy she knew and it was always better to be in the company of a guy than by yourself in the shrieking shack.
"I'm sure it was curiosity, Jamie-Paul," she said with a smug smile. She was just playing around with him as usual.
Like stated above, she didn't expect him to show so her actual plans weren't exactly figured out. She wanted to go in, but what to do once in there was beyond her. She shrugged in answer to his question. "You know me, nothings ever really planned out. I figured we'd go in, look around, discover something... you know, the normal stuff teenagers do?"
Gwen laughed as she shifted her weight to on leg and placed a hand on her hip. "You game?"

It was a peculiar December day; it was sunny throughout the grounds of Hogwarts. No call for scarves or gloves, unlike the past week, it had been both freezing and a bitter wind had not helped things much.
However seen as it was a pleasant day and Casey had finished all his work for the day, he headed of to Hogsmeade, grabbing his guitar as he left the commonroom. He hung it from his back, a few troublesome Slytherin first years thought it would be amusing to try and break the strings, though it was nothing a few small charms couldn’t take care of. Most of them had their fingers stuck together now, though being a nice chap; this would only last for about an hour.
Wandering through the streets of Hogsmeade, avoiding small huddles of people as he went, Casey searched for some form of inspiration. He did not pay much attention as to where he was heading. However he found himself on the path to the shrieking shack.
Bringing his fingers upon the strings of his guitar, he became somewhat absorbed in their sound. The continuing vibration of the strings that numbed his fingers slightly after even only a short while. Looking up to take in his surroundings once more, he found he had come across two people without realising it. A slight tension could be felt in the air, “Sorry, I didn’t see you both here.” Casey smiled nervously and ran his hands though his hair.
(sorry.. that was not the best thing in the world.. )

As soon as he two locked eyes on each other Julianna could sense the woman's anger. She had no idea what it was about her that offended her so. Julia even watched as she stormed out of the castle as if being pursued by wolves or some such thing. What else was there for her to do? The smart thing would have been to forget it and just go about her business but instead she made her way outside after her. Julia was following her as she walked and walked until she ended up in Hogsmeade. She had entered The Three Broomsticks and Julia just didn't feel like following anymore. Perhaps she was being too sensitive maybe her problem had nothing to do with Julia. Whatever, she thought as she turned deciding to go and explore the village on her own now that she was there.
Where else was there to go in Hogsmeade that she had never been, ah the Shrieking Shack. She had yet to go there and figured since she was already there she may as well take a peek. When she finally got there she happened upon two other Gryffindors who shared her sense of adventure. Going over to them she tapped the girl on the shoulder "are you going in?" she didn't really know they're names but she had no problem speaking to either one.

"I'm sure it was curiosity, Jamie-Paul"
Jamie-Paul couldn't help but raise his eyebrow at her for a moment, before a smile placed itself onto his lips. Shifting in his position, he shuffled his foot in the dirt and lowered his head. Lifting it back up once Gwen began speaking again, he nodded in agreement.
"Alright then, lead the way ma'am" he said, pulling his hands from his pockets and gesturing them towards the shrieking shack. Just then a voice echoed from nowhere, and Jamie snapped his around around to see who it belonged to. It was a fellow Gryffindor.
"No worries mate" he smiled at the lad, rubbing the back of his head. He was still unsure on why Gwen had invited him along, but now this other guy had come along, he knew she'd invite him to. He wasn't bothered about doing anything, it was either this or mope about the common room thinking about Tessa.
Out of nowhere a girl appeared and seemed to share the same sense of adventure that Gwen had. Tapping her on the shoulder and asking if they were going to go inside, Jamie simply nodded.

So maybe it wasn't such a good idea to invite Jamie but she'd rather have him with her causing mayhem then sitting around the common room acting like a love sick puppy because the shy rat, as she called her, couldn't make up her mind about him. Gwen knew Tess really did like JP, she just had her own way of showing it. Gwen was actually supposed to talk to Jamie for the hufflepuff and this was her idea of talking... getting into trouble.
Gwen noticed another boy had walked up. This boy was no stranger to her, Casey Fauna, the hott musician just a year ahead of her. For a moment, Gwen became googly eyed before Jamie had told her to lead the way. Clearing her throat she stood up strait, "yes, right... into the-um shack." by this time Case had walked up to the small group and was apologizing. "Casey. No need to apologize, you're welcome to join us if you like," she said motioning to the shack.
It wasn't until she felt a tap on her shoulder did she turn around, "Um, no. We're just standing in front talking about going in but we're not really." Gwen paused before laughing, "I'm just kidding, of course we're going in. Care to join?" So now there were four people about to walk into the shack, though she wasn't sure all of them would make it in.

Casey could not help but smile, as the boy cast aside the disruption with little bother for it. He was just about to reply and introduce himself, as the girl began to speak, her eyes were fixed on him in a slightly odd way. Feeling slightly uncomfortable, he just smiled slightly awkwardly. Smiling he accepted her offer politely, “Yes, ok then. Only if i am not imposing of course, i wouldn’t like to cause a nuisance of myself.” though Casey was slightly unsure as to how she knew his name. It was somewhat lost on him.
Casey was not exactly the most confident of people, he was quite happy to make new acquaintances and the like. However he was not one to seek out social occasions, other than family of course. The only time he generally felt quite happy and was not phased by others was when he was playing his music.
About to follow on toward the shack, another girl ,also a fellow Gryffindor, came up behind them. She was slightly more confident, than Casey himself was. Enquiring straight away as to whether they had been about to enter into the shack. Which as the other girl pointed out was a somewhat daft question. Allowing a small chuckle to escape his lips, he smiled. Gryffindors were most definitely an interesting group of people.
The now slightly large group of Gryffindors headed toward the shack, though Casey felt somewhat bizarre, not knowing there names. And being a relatively formal chap, he introduced himself first. Directed at no one in particular he said slightly quietly though with a smile to accompany it. “Um, So I am Casey, Casey Fauna. May I be so bold as to ask the names of you lovely people?”

As she showed up so did another boy a real cutie but Julia wasn't so good around boys she kind of lacked her usual confidence when they were around especially when she found them attractive. Staring a little bit longer than necessary she shook her head a bit and regained focus, they were going to go into the shack and that seemed like great fun. She needed something to taker her mind off the angry woman at school.
Walking into a "haunted" dwelling seemed like a good enough place to start, maybe they'd meet a ghostie. Not that she found ghosts scary there were so many of them at the school you kind of became used to their presence. As they walked on the boy who had joined them made mention of his name which, made Julia look up and feel totally ridiculous. All this time and not once did she even introduce herself. Stopping she turned, "Great to meet you Casey, I'm Julianna Farraday" smiling and looking at everyone.
