Saturdays with Isabel were usually full of books and studying. Though she felt like something different this week and decided on a trip to Hogsmeade. A letter had came through off her father reminding her to study hard, which is what her letters usually consisted of, and had done since she could remember and today she felt like doing something different, and doing it her own way. Not having anyone else telling her what she wants, or what shes going to do. No plans, just spur of the moment.
Be creative! Enjoy!
Ever since she could remember, her nose had been so far shoved in a book she was surprised it wasnt long and thin by now. Usually the books calmed her, but trying to study before just gave her that uncomfy and uneasy feeling in her stomach. A sure sign she wanted something different. The wind was blowing her hair, annoyingly, in all directions. So gathering her wavy locks she tyed it back out of her face.
Now she was stood in the street, may shops lining each side and not knowing where to start. Come to think of it in five years, she had never been here, only heard stories about it. "Uh" She mumbled to herself, the amount of people here was shocking. All different age groups and sizes. Rather frightening actually. "Oh dear"

Ellie sighed as she walked into the book shop, remembering the day before. It had been a gorgeous day. the wind that had seemed to be haunted Hogwarts, had calmed down, and the sun shone, cloudy wandering aimlessly across the sky. Of course, the Hufflepuff could not resist going out to the lake and taking in the splotch sun.
Taking her Charms book with her, she had decided to read up on the cheering charm, which she doubted anyone would need on a day like that. A half hour she spent sitting on a rock right on the lake, the dark waters splashing up every once and a while. It was gorgeous.
Just as Ellie finished the chapter and looked out across the lake, and large tentacle extended out of the water. Ellie screamed. She hated animals, they hated her, and this tentacle belong to some form of creature. It was out to get her. Ellie dropped the book in the water as she scrambled off the rock. The tentacle, unable to grab her, grab the large Charm textbook instead and brought it back down the water depths below. Ellie swore. Hubbles would kill her if she didn't have her book next class. She wasn't about to go and get it back from the monster. Luckily Hogsmeade was within walking distance.
The sound of the bell above the door welcomed Ellie as she enter in the shop. She walked over and spotted the book she needed. The shop was crowded, and Ellie grabbed the book and went to pay, handing the witch at the counter her galleons. She smiled and pushed her way back through the crowd.
Carrying the book at her side, Ellie strolled down the street, dodging people as she walked. What was it that brought all these people to Hogsmeade today. Ellie didn't know. A girl in front of her stopped and mutter something Ellie couldn't hear above the people talking. Ellie bumped into the girl, unable to avoid her. "Sorry!" Ellie said, as she bent down to pick up the charms book she dropped. Ellie obviously had a horrible grip. Ellie looked at the girl and smiled. She didn't look happy. She looked frightened. Was someone after her, or maybe something had happened. "Are you ok?" Ellie said, placing a hand on her arm gently.

It was not like Izzy to feel intimidated, but in a crowd like this it was easy to intimidate almost anyone. The blonde stood there and watched as people passed her in a hurry like everyone was in a hurry to be somewhere or they had to do something that was major important. Maybe Isabel did choose the wrong day to come to Hogsmeade.
She was dragged out of her thoughts by someone bumping into her, which naturally made her stumble back a bit and look at the bumpee. "Its alright" She said simply and continued her stare into the street before wondering when she was going to decide to tackle these streets.
"What?" Isabel hadnt realised she said something else for a moment, then the girls question set in on Isabel's mind, "Oh, yeah I'm fine. Just... There's a lot of people"
Isabel didnt expect there to be this many people in Hogsmeade this early in the morning. She looked at the books the girl had in her arms, Charms books. So she was a learner, this was good least the two had something in common.
"So, why did you need a new charms book?" She asked out of curiosity. Isabel always kept hers safe, the books to her were precious and she didnt like them being vandalised in any way and usually did her nut if she lost them. Izzy was a real book sort, though looking at her, you would think she was more into makeup and hair products.
Well, that was what charms and your wand was for.

Ellie smiled. She loved the crowds. It made her feel safe. It was kind of like a flock of geese or something, the more the merrier, the less of a chance your going to get shot by a hunter. After Ellie finished comparing herself to a goose she replied to the girl.
"There's always a lot of people in Hogsmeade." Ellie said, "Haven't you been here before?" She asked. It seemed as though the girl hadn't. The look of astonishment on her face was enough to tell that. It was hard for Ellie to believe that with the chance to gt away from he castle, someone would chose to stay behind. But, hey, that was her deal.
Ellie laughed. "Funny story." She told the tale of the squid and the lake. "Needless to say, me and animals of any kind, magical or not, don't get along. May my former Charms book rest in peace." Ellie bowed her head for a moment of reverence, then lifted it smiling. "Ellie Rook." She said, randomly, extending her hand.

"No, I havnt" Isabel answered furrowing her brow. The girl had always elected to stay behind on outings, get some quality peace time in with her books, being spontanious hadnt occured to Isabel until last summer and she was still adjusting to the new Isabel. "I never was one for crowds" She added with a shrug and cast her eyes over the hoards of people that littered Hogsmeade's streets. It was kind of strange, a girl who had been in Hogwarts since her first year had never set foot in Hogsmeade, and she was beginning to regret that decision already.
Isabel listened to her story of the Squid, the Lake and the book. Sounded like this girl could write a few fairytales of her own using her own lifes experiances. Which of course made Isabel's life seem a lot more dull and uneventful. She really had to work to change that. Izzy found herself smiling as she recounted what had happened at the Lake. "May it rest in peace indeed!" Isabel laughed as the girl stood up and extended her hand in a gesture of introduction. Isabel took it politely and shook it, yes she could be a bit callous sometimes and possibly cruel and sharp tongued, but this girl had given her nothing to be that side of Isabel and therefor she shook her hand warmly. "Isabel Valenti. Im afraid I have no interesting stories to tell unless you find sitting in Librarys until four o'clock in the morning interesting!"
"So the squid ate your Charms book?" Isabel laughed, she supposed that was what it did, it wasnt like a squid needed to learn charms or anything was it. Sometimes Isabel envied students who had interesting lives like that, though Isabel was quite happy with her own, it was slowly building into something less dull and more exciting. She could only work on it and take it one step at a time couldnt she? "So, you going back to Hogwarts? Or are you sticking around?"
