Surprisingly for such a morbid day to occur in Morgana’s life, the sun was shining and there were white fluffy clouds in the sky floating gracefully across the teal sky, creating a beautiful contrast of colours much to the angst of the Slytherin. As she stepped out of her Manor home accompanied by her mother, father and butler, the penguin suited man opened the car door and let Morgana step inside the car back into the darkness in which she was so familiar and not this hippy weather pattern that she didn’t care for. Giving a big sign as she bounced slightly on the leather seat, she was in silence for a few moments before being joined by her mother and father in the front seats as they said their goodbye’s to the butler. Winding down the window she looked out and gave a small wave to him aswell as the car started up for their journey for her to meet her soon to be husband.
And that’s when it hit her. She would be getting married in less than a month, and she would be the only married student at Hogwarts. The pressure came crushing down on her and she became instantly hot. Pulling off her suit jacket she placed it next to her as the car sped off. Things were going to be changing soon and fast, and a lot of things were going to be totally different. She would have a new name, new home, new life, and as she looked down at her ring hand, she imagined a wedding band tied tightly around her finger constricting it. Slapping her hand to get the visions away, the ring faded to leave only a blank hand, giving Morgana a space to breath and calm down for a moment before her mother piped up from the passenger seat.
“Morgana I assure you, you will adore him. He’s going to quite a nice little surprise for you” her mother chirped smugly. Morgana simply huffed and scowled at her mother through the rear view mirror before turning her head back to the window and feeling the cooling breeze on her face. At least she was grateful for one thing from this journey. Smirking like she a girl with a plan, she began to transform into her cobra animagus and planned to slide out of the window or even into the boot of the car just not to face the new husband of hers, but as she began to transform her mother wound her window up and locked it, creating a barrier between Morgana and Freedom. With her snake tongue forked out, she hissed at her mother before transforming back fully to her original form and pouting.
“Nice try Madam” her dad chuckled happily to himself. “See, she’s a smart one arn’t you beautiful” he said, looking back quickly at her with his chubby red face and bristly moustache before chucking away again and putting his attention back to driving. Morgana simply smiled at his words and looked over at her mother with her still snake like eyes glistening with mischief.
The journey to the house was a long and silent one, but eventually pulling up to the house, Morgana’s stomach began to do back flips and all sorts of acrobatic moves that she had never even heard of. Sighing, she pushed open the door of the car, ready to face her future. In silence, the trio walked to the front door and rung the bell.

As his mother was fussing over him, once again, Jay stood in his room huffing and heaving and trying to use any excuse to get the mad wedding obsessed woman off him. Though, no matter what Jay said or did, she still kept fussing over him, and when he looked in the mirror he nearly gagged, and that was the last straw for Jay. "Not a chance in all of hell am I wearing this ghastly thing!" He almost yelled, "The colour is fine, being green obviously, but what on earth is with that awful frill?" He turned to his mother, folded his arms and scowled, "Im the groom woman, not the bleedin' bride!" His mother folded her arms and her blue eyes narrowed at him, now he saw where he got all of his facial features from, his mother. "Goodness Jayden, this is a big day for you. You are getting married in under a month you know, and I think you look lovely." Taking off the main robe, he flung it on the bed as the kitten they owned, one of many, jumped up and began to claw it, ripping holes in it which made Jay laugh. "Well then you are crazy, even the cat hates it." He took off the other items his mother made him wear before going with a normal black suit, and his dark green throw over, which tied at the neck. Looking at himself he smiled, Slytherin colours, black silver and green. "Thats how it should be."
His mother walked out of the room in a huff, and Jay could hear her grumbling to his dad. Though his dad stuck up for him saying Jay is not built for frills. Of course he is not. He doesnt spend all this time trying to look good just to have his mother put frills on him. Picking up the robe off his bed, he tied it promptly to the top beam of the bed, so the cat could play with it better and make bigger holes in it. "Thats a good boy," he smiled and petted the animal, who purred at him, then with a pounce, he jumped up and clung to it, mewing at the top of his little lungs in an agressive, yet squeeky voice. All of the people he had been presented with, he had hated, so why would this one be any different at all? He doubted it would be, yet his mother seemed adamant that it was, worse was that his dad agreed, which always said Jay would hate it.
"Jayden Wyatt!" Came his fathers voice, "Get down here, they'll be arriving soon." So with a sigh, he trudged to the main hall and glanced sidelong into the Dining Hall to see the elves working away. Leaning on the wall, one foot on the wall, his eyes closed and his arms folded across his chest, he tried to forget that he would be giving someone his name soon. Letting off a long groan, his eyes still closed and the kitten which had been upstairs, came down, carrying a strip of the robe with it and rubbing itself around Jay's leg. Though realising Jay was too wound up to give it any attention, it gave one last meow before running off to terrorise the house elves. Hearing the house elves cries of the 'devil cat' Jay found himself smirking. "Sootymoo, calm down." Came his mothers voice as she ran after it. Jay refused to call it by itself, it was 'cat' to Jay. His mother was an idiot, in fact he felt sorry for the woman who would be coming through that door any minute now.
The bell rung and Jay's dad darted to it, closely followed by his mother as they ordered their butler to open the double doors. Once opened, His mother and father welcomed them to their home gracefully. His father kissing the top of the womans hand, and his mother offering the guy hers. Once they were in, Jay didnt move from his stance, and it was unlikely they would have seen him, since he was practically hidden in the shadows. "Wonder if Morgana's having as much fun as me" he thought to himself. "Welcome to our home, I hope it is to your liking." Showing them into the main hall of the Manor, one of the places you get the best views from. "She really is a beautiful as the pictures you sent to us, my son has yet to see her but I think he will be thrilled with her." His father nudged his mother and nodded to the shadows, which now the doors were fully open, the shadows gone, you could see Jayden clearly, his foot on the wall, his arms folded and his eyes closed. He heard his mother sigh from there which made the blonde smirk. "May I introduce my son, Jayden Wyatt." As if this was his cue, he stepped off the wall and walked towards them, his eyes fell on Morgana. He wasnt sure what his reaction was, for a moment he started blankly at her, this couldnt be right could it? Still, he had appearances to keep up, so with a smile, he took her hand gently and placed a kiss on the back of it. Strange, being in this situation with one of your best friends, who you didnt really look at in that way. "Pleasure's all mine." He said silkily.

As she stood on the top step, her heart was pounding quite fast yet rhythmically as she felt the heat rise within her, ever inching for her to turn into a cobra once again and flee along the grass. Her mind felt like it was swelling by the second as she stood there, feet seemingly glued to the stone as she just stared at her feet willing them to run away from the manor. Looking up the stone walls, she realised she would soon be living here when not at school, and the entire look of the place was alien to her. She knew she would feel out of place, but it wouldn’t be long before the newlyweds soon got their own house together somewhere. Morgana had not been nervous of the situation before now, but now she was actually here and would be staring her groom in the face in the matter of seconds, she was scared stiff. Still, there’s always a first for everything.
As the seconds that passed by seemed to be going twice as fast, before she knew it and before she could slither away and escape, the door had opened and the greetings soon began, non that really sunk in to Morgana, yet she greeted them with a warm smile and a curtsy to the family she was in the presence of. The groom seemed to be nowhere in sight as the sets of parents gathered around blocking the slytherins view of anything in the hallway. As they fussed about her making her rather claustrophobic she could do nothing but smile and thank them for calling her beautiful. She felt increasingly awkward in this situation, and especially since her normally pouting lips were curved up into a fake, unmovable smile.
Then was the moment she was dreading. They called his name and she awaited him to come out from the shadows. Her eyes widened however, realising what name they had called out. Looking quickly to his parents, she waited a second to see if she had just dreamt she heard that name or whether it was actually what she had heard. Looking towards the shadows once again, Jayden made his entrance, a worthy rivalry to one of Morgana’s famous entrances and he managed to somehow keep his cool about the whole thing, kissing her hand and pretending like they had never met.
“Ja...Erm, Hello Mister Wyatt” she replied after clearing her throat slightly. She watched him with narrowed eyes as he stood back up from the kiss, and she awaited as the parents walked in front of the couple and towards the lounge. Smiling at them as they walked, she held back and grabbed onto Jay’s hand that was still attached to hers and pulled him back. So many things needed to be said, but she knew they would have to wait until a better time. After a moments silence between them, she couldn’t help but laugh. “That was a Morgana entrance if ever I saw one” she smirked mockingly at him as she followed their parents into the room.

When he came from the shadows, secretly he hoped the womans parents would find him too arrogant and call it off, but alas, he seemed to be stuck in limbo once more. His parents moved aside so Jay could see the mother and father of the girl he would supposedly approve of. Well they both had Slytherin airs and graces, at least that could be said, unlike the last one which seemed to more worthy of Hufflepuff standings, not Slytherins. Though, of course, when he saw Morgana hiding, wait, she was hiding, behind the parents, Jays smug smirk grew even wider. So, now his parents were making him marry one of his best friends, he could help but feel it was a little incestuous. Of course, inbreeding was all they could really do these days, to keep their lineage as pure as possible. No wonder why half the Pure crowd end up looking like trolls really when you think about it.
Once he stood up from kissing her hand, Jayden smiled. "Get used to that name on your lips Miss Croft," Jay smirked, "You'll be wearing the title soon." Though he added in an undertone, "If it was possible, my mother would have it done by next week..." Though you could hear the bitter sound in Jaydens voice. He did not want to marry yet, he knew that, his parents knew it and he knew Morgana knew it too. Though time was running short, and some part of him couldnt believe that his mother was making him marry someone who would be in school next year, while he was slogging his guts out working. Still, if his shop came into play, it could certainly be useful for all the Slytherin population of the school. Which is what he intended it on being. He soon realised everyone was on the move, so, aiming to go with them, he began to walk, that was until he was pulled back by Morgana, to which he could only smirk. "Really? I thought it was a Jay entrace." Looking back in the lounge, he saw his mother and Morganas mother showing dresses in catalogues, and thier fathers doing the same but with suits. "Ugh," Jay moaned, "I always thought it was the bride and groom who were supposed to be excited, all I want to do is throw up." He watched as his mother gave an almighty squeal, to which Jay cringed, "Not a chance am I sitting through that, Mother!" He called, "Im showing Miss Croft the Gardens. We'll be back later!" He gave off a little smile as his mother answered, "Alright Jayden dear, have fun." "Somehow, I doubt it."
Jay took Morgana's hand and almost bolted through the doors, cat coming with them, bouncing up on Jays shoulder he smirked. Cat really didnt like all this wedding talk either. The gardens were a place Jay could hide from everyone, being surrounded by tall hedges always worked a charm, though the bees and wasps you got because of his mothers flowers were just evil. Taking off the throw-over, he threw it on the back of one of the wooden benches and flung himself down on it. His mother had simply said to him he could refuse this proposal, or he would have to live a life in poverty, now that was enough to scare anyone, even him, into marrying a bleedin' muggle. "Well I'll give you something," He said, "You're certainly full of surprises, not one I expected to see turning up on my doorstep anyway." He sighed and looked upto the sky, realising now, getting out of this marriage was a no-go. "Looks like its you and me then."

The relief washed over her in tides when she saw Jay, but what she failed to remember was that she would be marrying her best friend until he told her to get used to her name and his name conjoined. As the reality hit her once again, Morgana flushed pink slightly as he kissed her hand and she knew this was going to be probably the world’s most obscure marriage. After all, how often was it that best friends were betrothed to one another without their prior knowledge? However, Morgana knew Jay pretty much inside out, as much as she could and as much as he had allowed her to know about him and that gave her an advantage for the marriage. She knew what his personality was like, what his hates were and what his loves were, heck she even helped him by being his weights! If that wasn’t friendship, then she didn’t know what it was.
Shaking her head slightly still in disbelief at this odd turn of events, she smiled at him and was just glad it wasn’t some inferior beast she would be walking up the aisle to, because she had to admit, Jay was a stunner, and he knew it. As they walked into the front room to join the parents, the grungy mush feeling started churning up in her stomach once more, just like a few minutes before Jayden’s face had given her some relief, even for just a few seconds. She was not looking forward to sitting down and going through all the plans and actually conversing with Jay’s parents and getting probed on all sorts of private questions that shouldn’t be asked of her, but she knew it was coming and she faked a smile as she was about to sit down next to her parents before Jay interrupted her, and quite frankly, made her jump and turn back to look at him.
“I’m showing Miss Croft the Gardens...”
She raised her eyebrows at him before turning back to their parents and giving a signature fake grin before being dragged off by the hand. Stumbling after him she slapped his hand for him to slow down as she pointed to her shoes. “Heels!!” she mumbled as soon as they were outside, letting herself fall out of his grip, she straightened out her skirt before taking off her heels before any mishaps happened, after all she did just almost fall flat on her face thanks to him. Putting them on the bench where Jay had just flung his throw-over, she looked back at him, slightly shorter than before and frowned as she crossed her arms over her chest, however quite thankful she wasn’t in the restraints of her suit jacket.
“What in merlin’s name do you mean ‘I doubt it’” she said with air quotes before returning her arms into a crossed position. Shifting her weight onto one foot, she stared at Jay for a moment awaiting his answer. Of course, being Morgana she waited all of two seconds before huffing and turning away from him, starting up the garden path easily walking without pain on the gravel. “I should bite you for that” she sniped back as she continued to walk as the gravel shifted beneath her feet. She totally ignored his talking before she stopped and turned around, arms folding once again as she spoke to him halfway up the garden path. “Likewise Wyatt” she said with a raised eyebrow as he said it was just not what he expected. Watching cat, Morgana bent down and made noises at it, as it strutted its way over to her she stroked it and picked it up as she stood once more. “Surprising really...I thought he’d of been scared of snakes”
