Bradyn took a deep breath and watched El closely. He trusted Fay's magicall abilities, but he couldn't help but feel that Hubbles wouldn't make this so easy that a hover charm could do it. If only they had some other hint that would give them an idea, surely there was one hidden around the room besides just in the chest.
He smiled when she started to lift up, and glanced towards Fay to make sure she wasn't going to jerk the girl up all willy-nilly. But then he heard a weird sound, and El shrieking 'Let Go.' Raising a brow, he saw that no one was there but El was starting to come down. "Umm, that's not good. Fay, what're you doing?" He said, walking towards El in case she started to fall more rapidly.
Once her legs gave out, Bray headed over to her and put a supporting arm around her, since she seemed unable to stand very well. "You alright?" He asked worriedly. Things never seemed to work out when El did it, and it seemed rather doubtful that Hubbles would purposely target one of his own special Hufflepuffs.
"Well, Hubbles isn't going to let this be easy. What a shocker." He looked around the room, trying to spot something they overlooked but aside from the chest the room seemed to be just an upside down classroom. "Well, if that charm didn't work, it's obvious he wants a specific one. But are we supposed to flip the room to get to the chest, let the chest come to us, or go to the chest?" Bray asked, mostly thinking aloud in case his random ideas gave anyone else some ideas.

Heidi followed the others letting them bicker along with each other finding it quite amusing watching them come up with different theories, but when the key burnt Ellie she did feel slightly guilty for laugh and would have run to her aid if the others had not got their first. It was with a speculative frown Heidi watched them try the gold door only to be proved wrong when the door swung open and let to another room. Slowly following behind them she listened to have they were saying to each other and was rather intrigued when she heard Bradyn shout that the room had turned upside down.
As the other filled into the room Heidi stood in the entrance amazed that the room was upside down. She did zoon in though when they were coming up with theories of what to do, she liked the idea of the human ladder but then how would you undo the sticking charm, and when the idea of levitating up was mentioned Heidi gave a grin of approval thinking that would be the way only to be totally gutted when it did not work.
It was when Felicity shouted out in vain for a clue that at idea came to her, and it was only backed up more with Bradyn's idea about flipping the room. With a small laugh Heidi made her way along what was the ceiling of the room towards the others.
“Guys have you noticed that the room is backwards….maybe it is the same with our charms?”

Ellie was grateful for Bradyn's arm around her. Honestly, her legs were still shaking even though the pain was gone. But after a few moments, she smiled at him and removed his arm. She was going to do it on her own. She was fine, everything was fine, perfect!
"I'm bad luck." She said with a smile to her team mates. Fay shouted to Hubbles as though he were God. She cracked another smile. "Ask and you shall receive." she said to Fay, placing an arm on her shoulder for a moment.
Ellie listen to all Bray's ideas. "I don't think the point is simply going to get the chest, otherwise, why would he waste his time flipping the whole room. he could have just put a chest on the ceiling easily enough." Ellie said.
Heidi, who had appeared in the room, made a point. "But what does that mean?" Ellie said, starting to pace, but her tired legs made her steps wobble. "What are we supposed to do? Say the charm backward?" Ellie thought it was a silly idea, but who knew. She doubted they could get through this room with nothing but the luck of the draw as they did with the door color.

"Or maybe, do the opposite charm."
Felicity glanced around at her team, particularly at Heidi. "It's like Topsy Turvey World. Everything is the opposite." She grinned. "Up is down, and down is up. So Hover charm would send someone down."
Fay crossed her arms across her chest. "But I'm not charming anyone anymore. Someone can charm me if they want." She glanced back over to Ellie and grinned sadly. "And I'm sorry about what happened El. You gunna be alright?"

"I'm fine." Ellie said rather quickly. She didn't mean to be rude, but she didn't like it when people babied her. Her mother did just that. Mama Rook didn't think Ellie could handle anything. In her third year when Ellie had to take on an extra class, Mama rook had actually sent a letter to the headmaster asking if maybe Ellie could keep her same schedule. Her mother had received a letter laced with sarcasm describing Ellie's capability of handling another subject. Of course that subject happen to be Care of Magical Creatures, and after all that, Ellie could have personally done without the subject.
"Ok. so what the opposite of the Hover Charm." Ellie asked. "Isn't it the Desendo Charm?" The Desendo Charm brought objects down. It made sense. "Its worth a try isn't it?" She asked.
"Bray, if you don't want to do the charm, I will." She said. She knew there was no way they were going to let her go up again, so figured she'd at least try and prove she was all right by performing the magic. Although, she thought there would be a slim chance of that also.

Bradyn got the message when his arm was pulled off El and crossed them in front of his chest. He smirked and laughed a bit. "Yes, I'm sure that's what she means. the revoh charm.." Shaking his head he walked over to Fay and Heidi. "So then, if we try descendo on someone, they.. should go up or down or whatever we're going to call it, towards the chest."
He was actually getting rather confused. If up was going to be down, and down was up.. gah, Hubbles was just trying to mess with their minds now. A dragon almost seemed like the easier option, but of course, that would be stupidity talking.
"So then, Fay will fly this time and El can charm her? Then if it back fires, you'll get your revenge." He grinned a bit at El. She was a tough cookie, taking injuries for the team and still coming out positive, just like a hufflepuff.

[haha. sorry!]
Ellie nodded at him and laughed. "Don't worry Fay. I won't kill you." She smirked.
Ellie got ready Wand out, pointed at Fay. Ellie wasn't fond of performing charms on people. She was worried that if the other charm had dragged her down that hard, what if Fay's head hit the ceiling, or the floor I guess. Never the less, it had to be done.
Ellie concentrated. She cleared her mind, as she did before she performed any magic. She glanced at Bray, but then caught herself and concentrated back on Fay. With a flick of her wand, she said "Descendo!"
[outty for tonight peeps! <3]

The sound of Ellie’s voice casting the spell echoed around the room and slowly Fay starts to feel weird and all though all logic states that the Desendo spell should not work it does and under the wand control of a Hufflepuff (*cheers*) the Ravenclaw starts to float off the classroom floor.
As you get a little further up towards the chest you notice that it does not have a lock or a latch to keep it closed but you can tell….it is locked!

Felicity smirked back at El. "Well I'm trusting you not to."
Her legs start to feel light, and she looked down at her feet. Well looky here, her logic had worked! Fay grinned back at Ellie and looked up to the chest.
Felicity waited until she was eye level with it before she tried to open it. It didn't have a lock, or a latch, but somehow it wouldn't open for her. "It's locked! Doesn't have a key hole or anything, it's just locked." She frowned.
"I could try blasting it open, but that might destroy whatever is inside."

Bradyn caught El's look and grinned reassuringly at her. 'Go ahead, you can do it.' He thought for a moment before he looked back to Fay. And sure enough, she was starting to float upwards. "Well, I'll be damned." He muttered and continued to follow her descent, or is it ascent, towards the.. floor.
Bray grinned with excitement and walked over to stand next to El when Fay reached the box. Only when he heard her say it was locked did his spirit fall a bit. "No! Don't blast it open, you moron!" He said rather loudly so she could hear him clearly.
"Did you try alohomora? Or do violent charms just come to mind first?" But then he remembered that charms would be backwards and he thought again. "Or should we try a locking charm like Colloportus?"

Ellie smiled. I had worked. Imagine that. "Wicked!" She said, keeping her eyes on Fay. Ellie was actually enjoying this task. Hubbles wasn't an idiot after all, not that she ever thought he was.
"No!" Said said to Fay, but Bray beat her to it. "You'll blow yourself up!" She added. It wouldn't be pretty, and Ellie was sure it would hurt a lot more than any of her injuries.
"Do the opposite!" Ellie said. Her arm was getting tired. It wasn't that Fay was a lot of weight to lift, it was more than she didn't have the stamina for long held charms. "Lock it." She said, praying that it would work. "Bray, get ready to catch whatever is in there." Ellie said, realizing her hands were obviously full.

[Sorry for not posting guys D: ]
Felicity laughed as her friends started to freak out about the exploding chest. "Don't worry, I won't do it. Sheesh."
She was about to contradict Bray's comment on trying to open the chest, but Ellie beat her to it. "Alright, locking the chest it is." Fay fished her wand out of her pocket --she had stuck it there after the little Elli incident-- and aimed it at the chest.
Fay muttered the locking charm (which I am too lazy to look up right now) and waited, silently hoping something would happen. Ellie looked like she was straining to keep Fay up, and Felicity didn't want her to overexert herself.

[ -beats ally over the head- "'Or should we try a locking charm like Colloportus?'" I look up a spell for you because i'm nice and it's COMPLETELY OVERLOOKED. I'm such a nice bff. ._. ]
Bradyn smiled a bit, and shook his head. "Yeah, yeah. You know you want to blow that chest to smithereens, Fay." He grumbled as he could really picture her doing that. She also seemed to be ignoring him now since she looked like she was going to yell at him for suggesting they lock it. 'Ah well, she's just jealous.'
Seeing that she was ready to go, he paused for a minute. It was true that he should try to catch it, but it didn't really want to stand under Fay since El looked like she could give up at any moment. Since he was so tiny, he'd probably just get crushed and made fun of. "Uh, yeah. I'll catch it if she misses. And if it opens at all."

For a second or two after the spell had been cast there is silence, nothing seems to be happening but then there is a sound and the lid of the chest slowly creeks open and out falls a green key and a small slip of parchment.
The key falls quickly while the slip of parchment slowly floats down towards the floor and there is only a few words written upon the parchment.
One down four to go…
