ok, so did you ever figure out what is behind all this, its a person or just some form of magic hidden and let loose by accident.

Erm…no I do not think we did. All the decided was that there is a dormant dark magical trap at Hogwarts! I think it would make sense if someone had put it there…and I guess that is where the fun could come in of who did it!

Maybe to keep the mystery behind it all only a few people come to this decision so adds more of a mystery to others and then slowly as the plot unfolds more clues and stuff can be leaked out so the mystery could be put together…

Feel free to tell me to shut up…I feel like I am confusing myself here and talking rubbish hahaha!

right, maybe Gail, or you, or me, or someone willing, could pick like three people to start off with who did it, or know whats going on, and slowly it leaks out to the outside world.

But who would we pick and based on what? Evilness...unlikely character...relative who originally placed it?

I mean this is just nit picking stuff, the plot itself could work totally veiled in mystery until even we figure out where to go with it.

In another plot that was planned Erys was supposed to set it off and find out she was the heir of Salazar Slytherin, which is kick ass, and I would love for her to be included in the start up in some way.[/color]

I thought the dark magic making everyone short-tempered and mad at everyone else kind of was the symptom. Like, if (big if since I don't know how many people would be on board with it) it was some ancient spell built to eradicate the most powerful witches and wizards alive, it would be the most pureblooded/half bloods that would be most strongly affected to be especially short-tempered, and especially towards each other. Like... turning the most powerful people against each other? If that makes any sense.

Anyways, and I can see how targetting the people with special abilities is maybe a little harsh because there are so few, but I think it also kind of shows how special powers can also be a hinderance. I have a character with special abilities... then again, she's already pretty close to pure evil and short tempered... maybe I didn't think this out very well. In any case, I guess it's just my way of trying to manipulate the site to see things my way ("Special abilities aren't everything, aren't perfect, and don't make your character invincible... maybe even make them bait for an ancient evil magic..."). -cough cough- I'm done again.
