Dawn was approaching, thankfully. Stumbling up the hill side in torn clothing, anyone would have thought she had been attacked. She had been, but only from the monster within. Hesitantly, Robin silently opened a secret door, which lead to the corridor where the Hospital Wing was held. Tired eyes looked about the corridor, hoping that no one was there. Dark bags lay under her yellow eyes, from lack of sleep for the past three nights.
She bared more scars now. She was sore. She wanted to curl up, and never move again. A bubbling hate built inside her. Why her? Why couldn't some other innocent by-passer be attacked? Robin hated it. Hated it all. It left her vulnerable. That, to her, was the worst feeling in the world. Besides pain.
Robin stumbled down the corridor. Pain surged through her body with nearly every step she took. The small hope she had left inside her, hoped that no one would come down the corridor, besides a professor. Passing a window, she saw her reflection. Ripped, torn, and thrashed clothing lay on her. Luckily mother would send new clothing soon. If one were to see her now, they'd certainly think she had been lost for days in the Forbidden Forest, attacked by something, and somehow made her way back to the school.
A shaky hand grasped the Hospital Wing door, and slowly opened it. Inside sat a patiently waiting nurse. From a quick glance around the room, there seemed no one around. But for all Robin knew, someone could possibly be in one of the beds, in for an illness.

It was always nice to have a brother who cared for you, who wanted to make sure that not a single scratch appeared on your skin but even with this in mind Girty could not help believe that the way she was kept during the full moon was not normal. She may not have hurt anyone but she had hurt herself, more so then if she would have been in the forest, but she would never let Dan know this. So here she was again, walking along the deserted corridors, the early morning winter chill blowing in through the windows and gaps in the castle walls. The dungeons had been cold and wet, so much so that as Girty stumbled along the corridor she was shivering. Even the set of freshly pressed robes were not enough to warm her up. All Girty wanted was a lie down, a warm cup of tea and to sleep for a few days.
But as Girty grew closer to the Hospital Wing she caught sight of someone else. Curiosity took hold of her and Girty tried to increase her pace. Her legs began to burn and stiffen as she tried to run up the stairs, her feet screamed in pain as soon as pressure was put upon, her cut hands slid over the cold stone banister leaving the odd patch of blood but when she reached the top of the stairs, breathless and in more pain then when she began Girty saw the girl walk into the hospital wing. Her clothes were badly torn up, she seemed shaken and in some pain.
Swallowing hard as dread filled her Girty walked along a lot slower, her mind was spinning as her wild imagination ran away with its self. ’Could that girl have been in the dungeons?’ Straining her memory to think back about what had happened during the night Girty could only make out blurs, but nothing suggested that there was anyone down there. ’Why would their be? Dan had the area locked up to prevent an attack happening.’
Entering the Infirmary Girty saw the nurse waiting and the other girl walking towards her. Trying not to think on the matter anymore, thinking the girl would have simply gone into the forest and had her own mini adventure Girty walked over to her normal bed and flopped down upon it, letting her head sink into the soft pillow and the feeling of relaxation spread over her.

A low grunt came from the nurse. "More scars?" Annoyance wasn't held back or hidden. She had visited the nurse for the past four years, seeing her at least once a month. Others were due to her trouble causing. The nurse seemed to look around Robin, as though acknowledging another. Robin hesitated, hoping someone just passed the door.
Pain serged through her arm. "Ow! What the-?!" The nurse ignored Robin's yelp, and continued bandaging an open wound, that she, herself, had not seen. "Your mother bets be sending some new clothing..." The nurse grumbled. "Oh she will. She always does, doesn't she?" There was no reply to Robin's question, for the nurse was now counting the newer scares.
Robin had to take pity on the old lady. She had never been asked to do the job, she had been forced upon it. And when she heard what she was taking up, she, herself, nearly had a heart attack. The nurse was the one making the Wolfsbane Potion every month, days in advance. She was the one staying up late three days before a full moon, preparing Robin to go out into the Forbidden Forest. But deep down inside, Robin could see, under all the annoyance and anger, the nurse herself took pity for Robin.
Another serge of pain. A small yelp escaped Robin's lips. Curiosity got the best of her, and she finally turned around, looking to see if the nurse was acknowledging someone passing by, or in the Hospital Wing itself. There, on a bed, lay another. A girl. Panic raced through Robin. She quickly turned her head back around. Yellow eyes filled with worriment. But the nurse never looked up. She never acknowledged Robin's panicking. All Robin hoped for, was that the girl would not begin making assumptions, and come to the horrible conclusion of what she was.

Girty closed her eyes and let the darkness overcome her, but even though she willed herself to sleep the smells and sounds of the hospital wing kept her awake. The sound of the nurse dealing with the other girl echoed around the silent infirmary, Girty opened her left eye and glanced over at the girl to see her doing the same to her. Girty’s cool grey eyes met with the other girl’s sharp yellow glare and for that brief moment the Hufflepuff saw the worry and angst in her eyes before she looked away.
With a puzzled gaze Girty rested her head back on the pillow and tried to close her eyes but those yellow eyes appeared every time. With a small huff Girty sat back up in the bed, trying to fight of the dizziness and the want to be sick and instead tried to focus her eyes to the dim light and look for a teapot. A small smile filled her face when she spotted one sitting on the side board, so swinging her legs over the side of her bed and letting them touch the cold flagstone floor Girty winched as the pressure switched to her feet and she slowly made her way across the hospital. With a few flicks of her want the water started to boil and Girty had summoned a few tea cups ready for the tea to be made.
“Can I get any of you guys one? I find it always helps.”
With this last bit Girty shot a small smile at the other girl, almost telling her to have a cup of tea instead of suggesting. She looked at the others in the room for a while before turning back to the boiling water and started to make a pot of tea, letting its smell overcome all the potions and ointments that normally filled the infirmary.
