The Character

Name: Jamie-Paul Carron
Nicknames (if any): JP, Jamie, Jay.
Year: 7th, 17.
House: Gryffindor.
Blood: Muggleborn.
Wand: 9 inch Birch wood, Troll & Mermaid hair mix.

Personality: Jamie is a fun-loving guy, a typical Gryffindor if you will. However, he also has many traits of a Hufflepuff. He is boisterous but cares a great deal for the ones he loves. Being a partial mixture of the two houses has it's advantanges, however being to caring can have disadvantages too as he can be too caring and get too involved. Jamie loves surfing, but being away from home, he can't do it. The mix of coming from Australia and living in California makes him quite toned and tanned, and he has typical surfer dude looks and presence about him.

Appearance: Jamie has short dark blonde hair and light brown eyes. He is average height at around 5'9". He always seems to look like he's smiling even when he is not, suggesting he has smiling eyes. He is a typical surfer kind of guy. (see pictures)

History: Jamie was born in Australia, but his family moved over to California, America when he was four years old. He has a younger brother who will be attending Hogwarts next year. His mother and father are childhood sweethearts and are still very much in love. His father is a very clever man and is an author of fantasy books, whereas his mother is a beautician.

JP and Stacey grew up together in California, America, and have always been neighbours. Stacey is half-blood whereas Jamie-Paul is muggleborn. He found out about Stacey going to Hogwarts and wanted to experience it too.

Our History: Jamie and Tessa met in their third year. Apparently JP had come to class unprepared and had asked her to borrow a quill. Without realizing it, she had handed him her only quill and was stuck with negative points for her house. The next day, he made it up to her by not only giving Tessa her quill back, but by giving her an extra one as well. Now she had an extra. To this day, she has the quill he had given her but only because its 'extra' in case she runs out. Since then, the two only spoke slightly in class when either Tessa didn't know what she was doing or when Jamie needed a quill or parchment or anything else that Tessa had but he didn't.

In their fifth year, they began talking a little more outside of class but it always ended with Tess becoming too embarrassed and making an excuse to end the conversation and leave only to kick herself once out of his sight. She had grown attracted to the kid. Now it's their seventh year and Tessa still hasn't let on that she likes the kid but only because she doesn't want to make a complete fool out of herself once she finds that he, in return, doesn't share the same feelings.
