Rosa has always been a bubbly yet modest sort of girl, her focus on the silver lining rather than the greener grass on the other side. She has that sort of infectious laugh that even the most tight lipped person can't help but smile with. This cheerfulness, though mostly genuine, will be put on even through the rough patches of life. Her bottling up of feelings comes from a lifetime of struggling to trust others. Rosa can be a fiesty little thing when she wants to be also, she's not so easy to push around and can get into a right temper. Overall she is the sort of person that can get along with almost anyone, though will only grudgingly get close to a chosen few. It will take a lot for someone to break down her boundaries to become a close friend or love interest.

Rosa was brought up by her father Rupert Bennett, along with her older brother, James. After graduating from Hogwarts (in the house of Gryffindor), Rosa went on to further study History of Magic where she first met her partner to be William. After completing their studies, they travelled the wizarding world together for several years, learning and collecting histories from what seemed like all corners of the earth. A nasty break up occured (details of which I can't be bothered to do now), resulting in Rosa returning to England to try and restore some sort of normality into her life. It was just a short few months back home when she suffered the loss of her uncle, previous owner of "The Book Keepers". They had been very close in her childhood, though no one was more surprised than Rosa when it emerged that the shop had been left to her. It seemed an easy decision to keep and run the shop for herself, though not necessarily a permament one. Rosa continues with her passion for the History of Magic and is increasingly warming up to the idea of one day teaching it for a period of time.

The Book Keepers can be traced back right into history, though perhaps not in the location or form that it is today. The shops trade is second hand books, from just a students old text book from last year to some tome written several centuries ago. Rosa couldn't boast to know even half of what the "little" shop contained, though she was sure in all the nooks and crannies it could give the Hogwarts restricted section a run for its money. Her uncle didn't run it in the most conventially organised or symstematic way. There isn't a scrap of parchment detailing what books came in or what books came out, but he had known exactly what he had and by some miracle in such a vast shop, exactly where everything was. All this didn't really help Rosa now, but she didn't have the heart to alter her uncles little ways, nor the strength or patience to carry out such a task just yet. The shop and its contents had always fascinated Rosa as a girl, and now as a woman she shall only just begin to touch the surface of the secrets contained within The Book Keepers.
