((NOTE: Disregard class sign up. If you want to be a student of the class, just post whenever you wish.))
It was the first lesson of the new term and Kenna Darling had spent all summer coming up with new Ideas. She had remembered Professor's Lupin's idea of bringing a boggart into class and figured it'd make for an interesting and fun experience for the students.
So there she was. Sitting on the top of her desk with her legs propped up on a large trunk. She awaited for her students patiently. Behind her on the black board were three phrases:Kenna Darling and Jackson Shaw
Defense Against the Dark Arts
Do you find this a little RIDDIKULUS? She knew the words on the board would bring questions from the students but only those bright of mind would understand.

Ash walked into DADA wondering what the lesson would be, however as soon as he saw the words 'Don't you think this is Riddikulus?' written on the board, he knew. He smiled at Professor Darling. "Hello Professor. Unless I'm mistaken... we're studying boggarts today. Right?" Ash knew he was probably right because 'Riddikulus' was the spell that repelled boggarts. He just wanted Professor Darling to verify it.

Felicity tucked her books underneath her arm and strode into the classroom. She had pulled her hair back today, to cover the scar on her head that could usually be seen when she had her hair down. Fay's wand was tucked behind her ear, as usual.
"Good day Professor Darling."
The veela gave the professor a small wave. Her attention was quickly shifted to the board. 'Riddikulus'? Either Professor Darling had really bad spelling, or that was refering to the 'Riddikulus' Spell, used to repel boggarts. She was leaning toward the second one, because Professor Darling didn't seem like the dim-witted type.
Fay pursed her lips thoughtfully as she turned and took a seat in the middle of the desks. She never really liked the front, Fay didn't like the eyes of all the students on her back. And the back was just too far away, and it irked her when very tall people sat in front of her. So, the middle was just right for her.
Now, if the lesson was a boggart, they were going to have to face their worst fears. In all honesty, Felicity didn't really know what hers was. She had some fears, but none big enough to be classified as her 'worst fear'. This lesson would surely be interesting.

This was Jackson's first lesson as an apprentice in this subject. As a Ravenclaw, or ex one now, he had always found this subject fascinating and had taken it for NEWT. He was glad he didnt have to sport the robes anymore, he always found them rather uncomfy for himself. He made his way from the great hall to the classroom and pushed the door open. Walking in he was half surprised at finding his name already on the board but wasnt sure how to address Kenna. Professor? Or Professor Darling? Or just Kenna.
"Morning"

Kenna gave a small nod in Ashton's direction then brought her index finger to her lips and made a soft 'shh' sound. No need for the whole class to know right away, they could figure it out on their own. She knew the students were smart but why verify when it kept the mind gears going?
Another student had walked in and Miss Darling nodded in her direction, "Good Day, Felicity," she greeted in return. She wasn't going to properly start class until her apprentice showed as well as her whole class, well, at least a good percentage of the lot. Wasn't long after her thought did Jackson appear. Good timing or what?
"Good Morning, Jackson."

If she could have growled she would have, the fact that she even had to take this class annoyed her. What Slytherin worth their weight in galleons wanted to defend against dark arts. At least not her, no she was more interested in learning how to cast dark arts spells. Too bad, she found herself walking to defense class that day. Shaking her head she wanted to just walk right out of the school but she knew the consequences if she did that so she decided to suck it up and just go.
Entering the room she didn't really look at anyone there since she knew there were no other Slytherins in the room as of yet. Taking her seat she crossed one leg over the other her hazel eyes glimmering, as she sat back waiting, hoping that Erys or some other house mate would show allowing her to loose her defensive stance.[/size]

Ginny had not been much of a student lately. Her mind always a mess, as she tried to cope with other things going on in her life. In time though she realized that life behind the walls of the school was still going on so she had to act like a student since she still was one. Defense against the dark arts class is what she had right after lunch, so she grabbed some food and took it to go. She did not like to find herself in the Great Hall for too long, so many people trying to talk to her and well she was not much for talking lately.
The sandwich she had was practically devoured by the time she reached the classroom, she took the last bite before she set foot inside. Then she swallowed the last sip of pumpkin juice in her cup. She had no idea how she managed to make it all that way without dropping everything. She walked in to see Professor Darling there, nodding in a polite manner Ginny took a seat up front. There were a few others there two Ravenclaws and Slytherin. How fun came the sarcastic thought in her head. Hopefully she would make it through the day, that is all she could do make it through the day.

He was stood at the front, though on the left hand side leaning against the wall listening to all the good mornings aimed at Kenna. Smiling he knew, like many others, what this lesson had in store for them. It was simple if you understood what she had written on the board. Jackson stiffled a yawn, he was still tired. He had been up quite late studying, entry exams for a professors permit did take quite a lot of work, not just apprentishipping. He wondered what he would be doing, as an Apprentice he was still techically a student, just older than the seventh years, but not quite a professor. The thing still confused him a little bit but he would get used to it.

This had to be the second class Darius had taken since had been transferred to Hogwarts. To be honest, he was excited. But what Ravenclaw wasn't excited to get to class? It was only natural. Walking down the corridor, Dar looked out the window to find the sun shining. Of course it was, he had to be at class. If he didn't have to be anywhere, the sky would storm it's heart out. Into the classroom he went, eager to see what they'd be learning today.
"'Morning Professor." He said, smiling. Seeing as there were already a couple students there, Gunner took a seat not to far from the front, probably a couple rows back or so. Looking at the board, he noticed the Professor's name, the class, and some sort of pun. He heard someone ask if they were doing something about boggarts. Boggarts. Those were the, things that changed into your worst fear, right?
Darius didn't have many fears, and he had to think for a minute what would be his worst. He didn't like being cramped into small places, but that wasn't much of a fear, it just bothered him. His father sure freaked him out, but any wizard who would look at Mr. Willis would surly be creeped out. His mum sure scared him; her voice at least. Gunner had to sit on this one for a while, and hopefully he would figure out his fear before the boggart did.

This class was more her speed. At least this professor didn't make her want to cower under her desk. So when she walked in she was all smiles. Today was going to be a decent day. Hopefully the lesson would be worth while. She took a look at the board first thing and the word Riddikulus which immediately caught her attention.
OK this was good if they were studying that spell then they'd probably be working with Boggarts. So their fears would all be coming to life inside the small room. Kendal tried to wonder what she was so very afraid of. Well she was afraid of just about everything in the world so it was kind of hard to pinpoint. Surely that would be most interesting.
Despite the fear of what was to come she couldn't seem to help being excited as she sat there waiting for the other students to arrive so they could start.
