The sound of footsteps was heard throughout the dungeons as Shafer made his way through them. Casually, he munched on an apple, grinning slightly. Down here, it was almost always quiet. The only times it was loud was when students had to come down here for classes, and Slytherins to their common rooms. Yes, it was always nice to be alone down here when there was no one else around.
Shay had eaten his lunch quite quickly, fed up with his fellow Slytherins' comments about him taking private tutoring from a Ravenclaw nerd. He told them several times he was only being forced into it so his mother wouldn't kick him out.
Now, walking through the dungeons, did he feel like he hadn't eaten at all, and continued munching on his apple. Peace and quiet. Lovely. Simply lovely. He thought to himself, as he rounded the corner. After a while of walking about, he swear he heard footsteps coming closer to him. "Who's there?" He called out, a bit nervous now. Shay didn't want to give up his peace and quiet. He liked it. It was some, alone time, for himself. "Reveal yourself." He shouted to the on-comer.

Sarie wasn't really in the mood to eat lunch so she by past the great hall and when toward the Dungeons. The only part of the castle she really hadn't investigated yet. She had started but had been cut short by Professor Vance. She was about to turn the corner when she head.
"Who's there?" Than she head as she got closer "Reveal yourself." She came around the corner she was rather having daja vu but she had been in the forest not the dungeons. She found a Slytherin.
"Hello," Sarie was always shy around older students but she was really shy of Slytherins. She didn't have much luck with them when she met them alone expect the Gravestone sisters. She didn't want the clashing of house to keep happening she want it to stop.

As the one who disturbed his peace came out, a low grunt came from his throat. "Oh. Hello." He grumbled. By the looks of her, she was a Gryffindor, a young Gryffindor. He sighed. "What're you doing down here?" He demanded. Well, as long as he was older, and in a different house, he might as well take advantage of it.
Taking one last bite of his apple, he took out his wand, and made it disappear. Folding his arms, he was attempting to look as intimidating as possible, hoping the Gryffindor student would feel bad for interrupting his alone time.

"Well I have a good look around the castle, expect for down here. I was just looking around... Sorry if I surprised you." Sarie looked down at the floor. She felt rather out of place. She should have just gone to lunch.

"First year?" He asked, curious. She was small enough to be one. 'Course, everyone was smaller then him. He was quite tall for fifteen years old. But everyone in his year was tall as well. He shrugged. "Whatever. It's fine, I guess." He grumbled.
Shay sighed. Well, alone time was great. But company seemed okay as well. "Don't have any classes in the dungeons I'm guessin'?" He asked. Questioning was one of his many talents. It was the only way he would get answers from people.

"Well to tell the truth I'm a second year. I have potions but I only got about this far I want to see the rest of the place. You never know when you'll need to know this place from front to back right." She hated her hight. She was buying platforms for next year.

Shay nodded slightly. She seemed a little short for a second year. But, again, everyone seemed short to him. He didn't even remember being her height.
"Oh. Well, the dungeons are a lovely place." He said, grinning with pride. He loved the dungeons. They were a second home to him, much like Hogwarts was.

Sarie smiled. " Yeah I want to see how lovely they can be. I have to get going or won't finish before the end of lunch. She started down the hall. She wondered why that Slytherin had hexed her but know one else did. She leave the question for later.

"Alright then..." He replied. At least he would have his alone time again. As the girl took off, Shay began heading the other way, in hopes not to run into another student. It had been a quite awkward chat. The Gryffindor girl had basically walked by, stopped for a minute's worth of talk, and walked away. Shay shrugged it off, and continued on.
Whilst walking on, he pulled out his wand, and conjured another apple, munching into it. Again, the words and thoughts he had thought over and over again, entered his head. I'm good with spells.. Just none that include stuff for classes.. The sounds of the girl's footsteps echoed away, and all he could hear now was his, and the sound of him munching on his apple.
Wandering about, he began hoping no one else would round a corner, or disturb his peace. Especially if it was one of his fellow Slytherins, coming to poke fun at him and his private tutorings.

Polaris whistled an eerie tune softly to herself as she walked swiftly through the damp hallways of the dungeons with a faint frown on her plush pink lips. "Where is she..I can smell her somewhere down here.." She whispered to herself before resuming the song she was whistling previously. Polaris had quite the sense of hearing and scent, since her animagus form was a wolf and some characteristics carried over to when she was a human.
Hearing a few voices, Polaris knew she was coming upon Sarie and one other she thought to be a boy. She stopped her tune as she approached the two figures, keeping her good eye locked on Sarie while the other was hidden behind her eyepatch.
"Sarie, just what are you doing down here, especially in the dungeon? Naruto is growing sick with worry and well, you could get seriously hurt, remember the time when that Slytherine randomly hexed you?" Polaris scolded Sarie. Giving a sigh, she apologized a minute after Sarie answered for being so rude.
Furrowing her eyebrow, she now looked to the tall boy standing a few feet from Sarie and herself. She tilted her head as her ice blue eye looked the boy over. "Ah..sorry for the interruption." Polaris spoke softly, her words thick in accent.

Bradyn grumbled and walked down the dungen halls toward the slytherin common rooms. Shay was supposed to meet him like half an hour ago and they probably were too late to go with the troupe to Hogsmeade. Hearing some yelling up ahead he slowed and listened. The voice sounded familiar, he'd heard it in the Ravenclaw common room. Who was it... Polaris, perhaps?
As he approached them he saw he was right and she was scolding a small Gryffndor. "Mornin'." He said, nodded to the older Ravenclaw before he went over to Shay and glared at him a bit. "Forgetting something?"

Hearing footsteps, he frowned. More people? He grunted, hearing a voice. Though, the voice seemed to be scolding the girl. He turned around, and watched, as the girl was scolded and that some Naruto person was looking for her. Obviously, the girl's name was Sarie.
When the girl turned about, and addressed him, he felt a little shocked that she had. "Er.. It's okay?" He was a bit confused. Looking down at the girl, she seemed older, yet smaller. Now it was obvious to him, he was tall. Looking directly at the girl, she had two different color eyes. Shay stopped looking, hoping not to be rude.

"If Naruto keeps acting like a mother hen she going to lay an egg. I ca take care of myself honest. I wouldn't have been able to live with my family if I hadn't." Sarie stared at her friend why did they always worry about her. "I was just adventuring that's all..." She muttered like a scolded child.

Polaris stood at about 5'8", definitly taller than most of the girls around, but paled to this Slytherin. She gave a sigh while shaking her head at Saries attempts to justify why she was down in the Dungeons. "Fine, just go back and tell the others you're alright." Polaris insisted while giving the second year a light push. She nodded her head in acknowledgement to Bradyn before looking to Shay and offering a faint smile.
