Will was beginning to think he'd never escape this accursed place, not that he didn't like these hallowed halls and the people within them, he just felt like the school had a hold of him, one he was finding impossible to shake off. What had driven him to apply for being an apprentice he didn't know; a moment of pure madness or brilliance? But over the summer he had weighed up his few options, and this had seemed like the best bet, where better place to be really? He wouldn't have to work hard but he'd still be able to bump up his flagging grades, everybody won. Except for the luckless teacher laboured with him.
His preferance had been the more exciting teachers as it were, but were there any of those? So leaving the decision out of his hands he'd simply written a long winded letter to the Headmaster himself to make the choice.
As yet he'd received only a request that he arrive at Hogwarts and take up quarters, so evidently he would get something eventually, only the ever bubbly Will's enthusiasm and energy was unabated. So he was currently wandering about the corridors berating any little people who came his way, solely when they gave him reason of course. Waving at a huddle of girls whispering in a corner he scowled as they simply laughed and walked away swiftly, they're simply pretending they don't fancy you, that's all, he persuaded himself as he genuinely grinned after them, shamelessly watching their walk, feeling eyes bore into his back he turned towards whosoever dared to behold him.

Alexis was minding her own business as she walked down the corridors trying to think of all the differen Potion ingredients she had to remember. What was the difference between... She stopped her trail of thought, Oh no... What are those two ingredients again? I cant remember she tried her hardest to think of these two ingredients and even thought of going to ask Mark to help her, though she despised the fact that she would need her brothers help for anything.
Alexis walked past a group of giggling and whispering girls, frowning slightly at their strange behavier she stopped to see what was going on, catching a few sentances here and there like, He's so hot, look at him, perfect.. And oh those eyes. Alexis's stomache churned, she had never heard any girl talk about someone like this before, it was unheard of, very strange.
She watched the girls as they pointed to the back of a blonde guys head and she found herself thinking, Whats so great about the back of a guys head? but she seemed to be staring herself at the blondeness as it walked away from them. Eventually Alexis set off at a slower walk than before, but still keeping her eyes fixed on the guy, Who is he? she thought though found her feet suddenly stopping as the blonde guy turned around and she found herself no longer staring at the back of his head, but looking directly at him.

Twirling smartly on his heel to face the person whose gaze bored so keenly into his back he wasn't disappointed by not only the quality of the eyes, but everything else too. Mouth parting rather than dropping too dramatically open, his eyes nonetheless visibly widened as they eagerly absorbed the beauty before, "well hello gorgeous," he thought, no wait damnit he'd spoken aloud, how the hell did I manage that? He inwardly berated himself, let's see if my mouth can get me out of the trouble it's dropped me into.
"Oh bugger, I mean blubber, did I actually say that outloud?" He asked innocently only his eyes portraying the game he played so well. But what brilliant blue eyes she had, he couldn't help but be entranced by them even though his gaze yearned to travel all around her, to take in her slim waist and wavy hair in particular.
"I haven't gawked at you before, I always remember a face," and such a body. He thought as not just a typical but an extravagent male.
"May I escort you to your destination or would my looks make you look shabby?" He asked grinning widely, she could happily take that sentence either way she wished. Flirting came second nature or even first nature to William, he often didn't even utilise it purposefully, it was what rolled spontanteously off his tongue, but he wasn't sure if he'd bitten off more than he could chew here, he only hoped she'd be open to some harmless flirting and not take it overly seriously. If she was offended in any way he'd simply retract what he'd said and apologise profusely, it paid to make a good first impression and Will couldn't guess if he had or not.

Alexis eyed the male stood infront of her, turning to look at the girls who had been staring at him for what seemed like an age, all of whom seemed to now have faces that look like they had just taken a serious slap. Alexis leaned more on her left leg with her arms folded, her eyebrow arching slightly as he addressed her as gorgeous. In all honesty, Alexis was usually careful around guys that seemed over confident when it came to flirting, and it wasnt exactly something she over achieved in, she usually just shrugged it off.
"Yeah you did" She said with a smirk on her face. Though the innocence he seemed to try and put into the sentance didnt really fool Alexis though instead, she returned the stare he was giving her. They seemed to just be stood there in some form of staring competition, and Alexis was good at those, people had often said if someone held a worldwide staring competition, Alexis would win it hands down.
"No, and I cant say I have been gawked at by you before" She unfolded her arms and placed them on her hips as she looked at him, she wasnt sure who he was, if he was a pureblood or a muggleborn and you couldnt really tell just by looking at someone. "Well you wouldnt remember mine unless you have been to Beauxbatons now would you?"
"Well..." She said in a soft voice, which was rare for Alexis to speak to someone in such a soft tone. Glancing at him up and down she spoke again, "I suppose you could pass off as a person of high standard" her tone was light with a hint of teasing in it, "Not the best but I suppose you will do" Alexis shrugged, to be honest she didnt really have a destination, her feet were just wandering and taking her wherever they pleased. She didnt even know how she ended up in this corridor when she was sure she had taken a different turn. Turning to look at the giggling girls who were now looking at Alexis with much hate, she rolled her eyes, "Quite the fanclub"

Noticing the looks shared between the girl before him and the group further off, who persisted in giving them, or was it just him, their undivided attention, Will smiled knowingly, ah jealously between them, brilliant. “Beauxbatons eh? Got some French blood presumably then? How lovely.” He commented with a growing grin, he’d never flirted with a French girl before, not that he knew of anyway. Somehow he expected her to be so very different from English girls, maybe she wasn’t so French as he first hoped.
“So very kind and warm hearted of you, to…come to my standard, I shall have to make do really as I see no other eligible men in this entire castle, or is that just my slightly biased view?” He asked knowing he was far too arrogant for his own good; only he couldn’t stop himself.
“Hardly,” he commented wryly speaking more sincerely for once, “they just see my looks and bravado is all, people rarely take the time to see the inner me.” Realising that sounded pretty daft, at least to his ears, and that he didn’t know this girl at all he added hastily “not that there’s an awful lot more to know, well there is in a way, but not what they’re thinking.” Your tongue really runs away from you doesn’t it? He chided himself, and makes no sense whatsoever either.
“I’m sure you get this all the time, but your eyes really are something else. Honestly I’m not even joking,” he complimented really sincerely rather than to win the girl as he would sometimes do. Offering his arm he reinforced “so you’d like a little company then? Feel free to send me on my way with a slap if I annoy you in the slightest, even now. I kinda ramble on without realising it.” Holding it his arm for the girl to accept he realised then he knew not even her name, “oh I’m Will by the way.” Casting one last look at the giggling girls, he really couldn't help himself, he gave them a nonchalent wave and grinned at his companion, "you're more mature than them aren't you?" He asked rolling his eyes in their direction as they simpered under a simple glance that he gave them, even if he did it purposefully he could still find it a little annoying at times.

It was true, she was half French like her brother Mark though he didnt usually tell anyone and it wasnt something that came up in casual conversation. Her mother was french and her father was English but though the French resided in her, she didnt have the accent to go along with it. "A little" she said with a small grin. Alexis didnt usually tell people about her french heritage due to their mothers dislike of her family and her mother often tried to forget where she came from.
"That could be your biased view" Alexis spoke once more, turning to look at the girls once more, though getting a little airiated when she saw them still giving her death looks. Oh for gods sake, do grow up she thought angrily to herself. "Though, I have not yet seen many people ofmy standard in this place, most dont even compare" she said this with a joking tone, but some part of her actually meant it too. Alexis was, in Alexis's book, the best there was. So full of yourself Alexis
"Well that is all that's on show" she said looking over him, "Let's see" she put a finger on her chin and stepped back a little from him. "Blonde hair, nicely shaped face, not bad eyes either. Features are even, not a bad fashion sense either. Quite muscular..." She stopped and moved her finger from her chin, giving off a shrug, "Yes, I do believe thats why they take so much more notice of your looks," a smile spread across her face before adding in a more joking manner, "than of the Inner You"
She had had people in the past tell her about how wonderful, or vundervul as some of Marks friends had said it, her eyes were. Though Alexis never really paid any attention to it. Though it never got old, people telling her how great she was, it was just more ammunition to feed that already oversized ego of hers. "Well thanks, and to be honest, no... I dont usually give people enough time to say very much of anything before I cut them down with words" she put her hands behind her back and gave him a small wink, "So count yourself lucky"
"Well I wouldnt say no to a little bit of company. Would make wandering around this place a little more tolerable" she said with a roll of her eyes. Everything seemed really old in this place, half the time she felt if she touched anything it would just crumble and turn to dust. Whereas Beauxbatons had an air of supremacy, it always glistened like little crystals etched into the walls and everything always look so clean and perfect. "Alexis-Mai Alméida" she said with a smile, "I dont usually allow it, but you can call me Alexis" usually she flew off her hook if anyone called her anything but Alexis-Mai, and her brother Mark frustrated her, always calling her Lexi. "Well I most certainly do not go all giggly when some guy walks past me and stares stupidly at him in the tiny hopes he may throw a smile my way, if thats what you mean"

Realising she wasn’t all too impressed with her own French roots, unlike he was he remarked “ah so you won’t be spouting random bits of French at me then? Phew cause I can only understand the more…well flirtatious phrases shall we say. Every year over the summer we go to Paris usually, and even the French girls cluster round me, is it my fair skin or something?” He asked jokingly with a grin he couldn’t subside.
“It probably is yeah, but at least someone then has some confidence in me, got to look out for myself haven’t I really?” He spoke rhetorically knowing they were pretty alike with how much self-belief and confidence they had.
“You’re telling me that French guys are much better looking then?” He joked, “what about their oddly shaped noses,” he exaggerated but went back on his joke thinking he might have offended a distant relative of hers. “The French accent is sexy though, I’m told I can manage a pretty good one actually.” Monetarily lowering his voice into a more guttural but far more French fashion he spoke pretty fluent French, “je sais beaucoup des differentes phrases, par exemple je voudrais un poulet roti,et n’ont pas seulement les phrases…err plus erotiques la meme que voulez vous chouché avec moi ce soir.” He laughed in a french way then changed back to his usual softer voice.
“So yeah that’s the extent of my talents, in that area.” He finished with a grin wondering if she thought that either lame or impressive, either way he’d enjoyed it. Blushing ever so slightly as the beautiful girl before him described his looks in a complementary way, he thanked his lucky stars for this hour and took the time to allow his eyes to travel along her curves in all the right places but particularly his eyes were drawn to her radiant face once more. “Why thankyou, I’d try to describe your looks but words can’t describe such beauty.” He flirted quite obviously and knew she knew it to, but he didn’t care, he was young and wild and free. “So it’s slender rather than bulky muscle for me then? Do you approve?” He asked actually wanting to know the answer, not that he would actually change his appearance for anyone, if he could spend a minute simply looking at himself in the mirror each day then that was sufficient; and he could spend three.
“Maybe someone someday will want to know the inner me, it’s not you though is it? Not even a tiny bit curious?” he questioned with a laugh. “Oh I really do thank my lucky stars for even being given a minute to speak to you, and being able to get a word in edgeways is just too flattering for me, I may come over all faint.” He joked but immediately became serious as she expressed her concerns about the castle, “don’t you like it?” he asked incredulously, “most people go crazy and think it’s their home, me I don’t much need a home, just a warm bed at night. You’re not just a pretty face then.” He teased guessing she had a keen mind; far cleverer than his own quite probably.
“Well to help you get used to this place I propose meeting up sometime, at the idyllic village of Hogsmeade,” if she was a bright as he hoped she’d notice the sarcasm there, “call it a date if you will.” He added nonchalantly, sure he was moving all too quickly, but that his style and she should be flattered by his giving her a second thought, most girls were more like eye candy sometimes, mainly because that’s all they desired to be for him.
“Never heard that name before, you’re getting even more unique by the second Alexis.” Her lovely name sounded so comfortable and right on his eloquent tongue. “Wow that’s actually an honour,” he said in all serious and honesty. Some girls even gave him fake names so their reputations wouldn’t be tarnished with being associated with him, they were so ridiculous, all he actually did was harmless flirting, he’d only been serious about one girl and he feared she was out of his reach now, how he missed Sophie, she’d been a best friend of his too. Eyes temporarily misting over he blinked and focused upon the girl before him once more, what was wrong with him, there was a kind hearted girl before and yet his mind still wandered to thoughts of Sophie? Oh Soph he thought damn it man stop it.
“Yes yes that’s precisely what I meant,” knowing he’d blanked out he guessed he’d saved the situation by simply agreeing, what she had said would make perfect sense he was sure. “So shall we?” he asked offering his arm like a gallant gentleman of old, he wondered how he would have coped in those times; then he really would have been seen as scandalous. “So how long have you been at Hogwarts? Is it very strange and different to you?” he enquired not to make conversation but out of actual curiosity. “Aren’t people welcoming and friendly?” He demanded wondering why she hadn’t been with a group of close knit friends, but actually glad as he’d never have had the opportunity to speak to her properly then. Girls that walked around in packs were always annoying, they backed each other up and offered good advice when it really shouldn’t have been heeded. “What house are you even in? You’re not stereotypical of any, which is definitely a good thing.” Smiling happily as he easily conversed and evidently flirted, but harmlessly, Will was simply enjoying her company.
(ooc woah apologies for the beefiness didn't realise I'd waffled for so long haha)

Alexis shrugged, she wouldnt be spouting random bits of French at him, in fact the only time she usually spoke in French was if someone spoke to her in it, or she was very wound up. Though Alexis had been recently managing to keep her temper down, until she came across Mark and he began to make her get all aerated. Brothers... Who needs them really?. Alexis looked at Will and gave a small shrug, "Well somethings got them captivated by you"
"I guess it helps having flocks of females around you, constantly gawping at the back of your blonde head" she gave a small smirk as she said that. She knew she had been staring at Will too, but she was sure she only did it to see what the fascination was with him.
“French guys are... Different shall we say" as she thought about André who was her best friend Talisá's cousin. Alexis had had a thing for him and she slowly began to learn the differences between the French and English males. While the English prides themselves on arrogance and confidence, the French were always more soft, bringing roses to the doorsteps of their loved ones and serenading them. Alexis listened to him mouth off his French, he had the accent down to near enough perfect, though his actual French it seemed, could do with some working on, "Vous savez que le sentance à vous n'a semblé aucun raisonnable à bien?" Alexis answered back in her French accent.
"And it would seem talent you have" Alexis watched as his eyes seemed to scan her features and gave a small roll of her eyes but could help a small laugh from escaping her. "Well aren't you just the charmer?" Alexis knew she was pretty beautiful but in all honesty, she never grew tired of hearing it from someone else. Even though his brash nature showed clear signs of obvious flirting.
Alexis put a finger back on her chin when he asked her whether she approved of his physique. Seeming to think for a moment she let a smile tug at her lips, "Yeah, I guess I approve" She didnt think he would suit being really muscular and he definatly pulled off being slender.
"Well maybe one day I may get curious to know more about you, but for now I think I would prefer to try and figure some things out for myself." She smiled, she loved trying to figure out guys, it was like a jigsaw puzzle and everything you got to know added one more tiny piece to finish the big picture. "Its not that i dont like the place, I do... It just new to me and in all honesty... I dont know maybe im just used to the walls glistening like they have crystals in them. Though it is a nice change"
Alexis laughed, well one thing she had figured was that he was very sarcastic. Though she was fine with that, she loved sarcasm and indeed had plenty of her own. She gave a small smirk as the conversation seemed to go into other grounds, "Maybe i will take you up on that" she added with a small wink.
"I dont see why, the name Alexis seems to be pretty common these days" the word common was strained on her tongue and if he had half a brain he would know that Alexis-Mai hated to have anything tied to as common. Her brothers name Markeil was more unusual than Alexis's was, though her sister, Dyanneabelle beat them both hands down.
Alexis wasnt stupid, for a moment she knew he had zoned out on her. She folded her arms and waited patiently for him to return to earth, which was unlike her, if someone zoned out on her usually, she wouldnt still be standing here. Alexis made a little noise, something similar to 'hmm' when he agreed. She took hold of his arm when he offered it to her and began to walk with him. "Its my first term this term, Ive only been here about a week or so" she told him. It was her first week and things had passed pretty much in a haze, she hadnt noticed anybody really and tried to keep herself to herself. "It is strange and different. For one there were no boys there" she stiffled a laugh because she wasnt actually sure that it was a good thing. "I havnt really given many people the chance to be welcoming and friendly, to be honest I quite like not having a million people following me around" Alexis shrugged, she hadnt even realised up until the other day that to be in a certain house you had to have a certain quality about you. She heard that the house she was in, made people seem bad apparently. "Im in Slytherin, my brothers in Gryffindor" she told him, looking down at the floor as she said it.
((ooc: Its okay Made a good read though took ages to reply to it haha))
