(Corridors) Not again

[Sarie Thimble]

Sarie was really tired and went up to her dorm to get some sleep she had been missing the last few days. She stared at her fourposter with longing she was too tried to change so she just collapsed on her bed. All of her dorm mates where asleep. She was out before her head reached the pillow. A little time later she felt some thing cold on her feet which was strange because the last time she check her feet had been in a nice warm bed. Maybe her feet where sticking out of the blanket again or had her blanket fallen off her was rather cold. She couldn't figure out why she had opened her eyes yet but when she did she hit herself in the forehead. She was in the middle of the hall by the looks of it and judging by the pictures on the 5th floor.

"How did I get here. I'm two floors down from where I should be. Why me. Not again if this didn't stop soon she was never going to get any sleep and not to mention detention." She sighed

[Professor Daniel Hubbles]

Dan was not a happy bunny, this was his third night shift in a row and as normal he had a lesson first thing. There was a pile of papers sitting on his desk, a sister who was moaning at him every other second and his love life…well he did not wish to think on it.
So as he walked slowly down the corridor, his head looking at the he was flag stone floor he was trying his best to keep his eyes open, the castle had been quite. Not enough students had been breaking the rules and straying out of bed.

That was until he happened to be walking down the 5th floor corridor and he noticed a Gryffindor standing, in her robes, looking rather confused. Dan blinked a few times to make sure he was not imagining things and once he was finally convinced that it was indeed a real student he moved towards her.

“Miss Thimble may I ask why you are out of bed at this hour?”

[Sarie Thimble]

Sarie jumped at her call of her charms teacher. "I don't really I knooww." She shivered. Her feet her bear which wasn't very good with a flagstone floor. "I woke up here honest I've been sleep walking lately you can ask..."She trailed off with another shiver. She had to much work to be wondering around. She really shouldn't gone to bed when she did. She still had an essay to write.

[Professor Daniel Hubbles]

He saw the poor Gryffindor jump as he spoke, and it brought a small smile to his face but he was not sure if it was out of sympathy or amusement that he could send fear into certain people. She also seemed to be rather cold, Sarie seemed to stutter as a shiver ran across her body and her feet chattered. Glancing down Dan noticed that she standing barefoot and in a cold castle in the middle of March, it was not he best choice.
Reaching into his robe Dan pulled out his wand and with a small flick he waited, and waited until he heard a faint sound of the air being disturbed. Then around the corner flew a pair of slippers.

“I believe these are your Miss Thimble and I advice you that if you go sleepwalking again try to remember to put them on.”

He gave her a small wink and looked around the corridor to see if any other teachers were coming near them. He did not feel like taking points off the girl just because she had been sleep walking, instead after he had escorted her back to her dorms he would have a strong word with the Fat Lady to make sure this did not happen again.

Sarie smiled at him as she slipped the slippers on. "Thank you I'll make use I'll have them next time." She was thankful that he wasn't mad. She was also thankful he was going to speak to the fat lady. She hadn't thought about doing that. She sighed. Then realized he hadn't said any thing. She had reached in to a teachers head, how did she do that she had been doing so well of staying out of people heads. She just shook it off it had to because her lack of sleep. She hoped.

[Bradyn Reed]

Bray walked down a dark corridor, his wand lightly lit. He stopped when he heard voices up ahead and lit his wand a bit more to he could see who was ahead. A teacher, apparently busting another student for being out past curfew. Drat his rotten luck. Bray quickly put out his light and quickly thought of a plan to sneak past unseen, which seemed to be his inevitable fate.

But then again, it was Hubbles he was dealing with here so, anything was possible? He leaned against a wall silently contemplating this, and carefully looked to see if he was disturbing any portraits. Bray jumped in fear when he saw the very unhappy face of a maiden who didn't like him leaning so close to her. "Shh." He urged but couldn't stop her from loudly scorning him with a "What are you doing out of bed at this hour, young man!" Well, all plans failing he sighed in defeat and walked over to Hubbles and Sarie to see what was going on.

Sarie blushed at the sight Bradyn Reed. She didn't want every one in the school to know what was happening to her. It would it make it worst. "Hey Bradyn what you up to?" She asked scraping the floor with her slippers.

[Naruto Greene]

Naruto and Ramen were talking and laughing together as they walked back from the kitchens to their dorm completely oblivious to the others in the hall.
"This was fun! We so gotta sneak out to get munchies at midnight more often. Although it's gotta be later than midnight by now." Naruto told Ramen with a large grin on her face.
"I like those elves. They make the best pumpkin bread, next to yours of course." Ramen voiced his own grin just as huge.
"I think we should make a routine of this don't you?" Naruto suggested eating a bit more of her pumpkin bread.
"Oh definitely." Ramen agreed eating his own pumpkin bread. The two stopped dead in their tracks when they saw the three people in the hall staring at them. Two were students and one was a teacher. They recognized Professor Hubbles and Sarie but not the other one.
"Good morning Professor. Good morning Sarie." Naruto greeted with a nervous smile trying to hide the sweets she got from the house elves behind her back.
"Good morning." Ramen echoed hiding his own food.

[Sarie Thimble]

Sarie was shocked. "Naruto what you doing here? Is that food? Ra do you ever stop eating?" She shivered again. It was really cold in the hall. She looked at Professor Hubbles hoping he was still in a good mood.

Dan watched Sarie take the slippers and for a second he felt like there was someone else in his head, but he soon pushed this thought to one side when he heard the sound of another student wondering around, well the sound of a painting having a go at a student who was out after hours. Then as the student came into few he noticed it was a Ravenclaw and bite his lip, the main thing however was that Sarie seemed to know him and that was enough for Dan. He nodded his head in the acknowledgement of Bradyn only to be stopped from a more formal greeting by the sound of someone else talking.

Looking into the dark of the corridor Dan noticed another student, Naruto Greene. With a small sigh Dan looked at the Hufflepuff feeling slightly ashamed that someone from his house was out after hours and just confirmed the idea in his mind that he would take away any points.

“I think you are a few hours to early for the morning, many would still class sit as the night Miss Greene. However we seem to be having a mini gathering in this corridor and I fear if another teacher stumbles across us you three may have to face a punishment.”

His gaze flicked form one to the other trying to look as stern as he could mange at this time of night. He wanted to try and move everyone along but he noticed that Sarie was shivering again and his mind was set.

“So to avoid any other teaches from punishing you I will take you all back to your common rooms. This way I also know you are not going to sneak off and cause any trouble otherwise it will be my head on the line.”

[Naruto Greene]

"Sorry Sir. It wasn't exactly our intent to cause you any trouble." Naruto apologized sincerely. She really liked Professor Hubbles as a teacher. He was pretty cool.
"It wasn't our intention to be caught at all." Ramen snorted causing Naruto to elbow him in the lower gut since that was as far up as her elbow reached. He whined in response.
"Shut up Ra." Naruto hissed at him.
"Now you'll never want to go out again though. You law-abiding prude." Ramen sneered at her. Naruto gave him a glare so fierce he flinched.
"If that's how you feel you can just leave! I don't need you! I was fine on my own before and I'll be fine when you're gone!" Naruto spat angrily at him making him look at her in shock.
"N-Naruto! I would never leave you! How could you say that?!" He cried in fear, he really did not want to loose his best friend. Human or not she was his first friend and she made him happy.
"Don't lie to me! You think I don't know? You've been leaving me all alone more and more often to look for stupid adventures that you can get hurt on and leave me to wait for you to come back half-dead and patch you up! If you want to be rid of me so bad then leave!" Naruto snapped all her pent up frustration and loneliness finally escaping.
"NO! I won't leave you! And you can't make me!" Ramen screamed at her meeting her eyes and matching her death glare without flinching. This was a battle of wills at this point and if he dared to look away or flinch he knew he would lose his best friend forever and he could not let that happen no matter how angry she tended to get. He would stay by her like any good friend would and wait for her emotional collapse to pass. He knew when it passed she would apologize and stay with him too.
