The Character

Name: Anthea Dana Anderson

Personality: Anthea is rather shy when it comes to meeting strangers. When she knows a person better, she would open up and be more at ease. When she is passionate about a subject, she would do anything to convince others. Anthea is a perfectionist, and likes to make sure that everything she does is of the highest standards. When she likes a topic, she would read up extensively on it. She loves to write and spends hours reading various books to learn about different writing styles.

Appearance: Anthea has long blond hair, which she dyes red some times. She has clear blue eyes, which she has been told, changes color according to her mood. She is quite short, standing at 5'3. Anthea is considered to be rather thin. Her skin is very pale, even though she goes out in the sun quite a lot.

History:

Parents: David Anderson and Leigh Anderson

David Anderson hails from a family of purebloods, whom most of them where in Ravenclaw and Gryffindor in their
time spent at Hogwarts. Some of his family members believe that their children should only marry
half-bloods or purebloods and not muggles.

Leigh Anderson is Irish, and is a muggle. David met her when she was vacationing in Hawaii during her summer break
from college. She comes from a mixed family, with several cousins turning out to be witches and wizards. Her mother
had no such talent, and she married a muggle. A few years later, Leigh was born. Leigh knew of the existence
of the magical world due to past visits to her uncles and aunts, of which some where magical folk. Leigh's mother
married a Scotsman, somewhat angering several of her relatives.

Anthea's parents were treated badly by some of their relatives, because her father married a muggle, and her
mother had chose to marry an American instead of an Irishman. They love Anthea dearly as she was their 'miracle'
as the doctors had told her that she may not be able to have children due to an accident she sustained when she was
younger.

Anthea was born in Scotland, but her parents moved to Great Britain when she was three. She cannot remember much of her
life in Scotland as such. Her grandparents died when she was 5, 2 months after her birthday.

Though Anthea's parents loves her dearly, her parents refuses to spoil her, insisting that she pays for her stuff when her parents did not want to buy them for her. Even though Arianna may get angry at this sometimes, she understands that her parents wants her to exert some resemblance of self control even though they were quite well off.

Anthea is fierce rivals with her cousin; Helena, but they remained close. She takes pride in her achievements, but does
not let them get into her head. In addition, she remains humble even though her teachers through elementary school had praised
her for being exceptionally advanced for her age.

However, Anthea can sometimes aim for too much, thus letting herself down and giving her self undue stress when she
cannot achieve her goals. She hopes to do well in Hogwarts, citing her cousin, Helena as an example. Anthea loves to
swim, and could not go for long without entering a pool. She is a staunch Catholic, who believes that everyone should
respect other's religions even though they believe that their religion is the one 'true' one.
