The Roleplayer
Name/Alias: Jazz
Age: 17
Location: NorCal!
How did you hear about this site: WebRing
Any other Comments: Congratulations! This is one of two Hogwarts RPGs that meet my standards of literacy! Good for you guys. It's been agonizing trying to find a decent game.
The Character
Name: Fiona Rose MacKinnon
Nicknames (if any): None
Age & Year: Born October 19, age 15, year 4
Blood: Pure as it gets
Wand: 11", Ironwood. Handed down for generations through her family.
Personality: Fiona has a deep rooted loyalty to her family, what's left of it anyway, and an unvoiced respect for the purity of one's blood. She's a exemplary Potions student, and a good hand at Charms, though her abysmal Transfigurations talent leaves her out of the running for the perfect student award. She, like her family before her, deeply mistrusts the Ministry and anyone associated with it. She has inherited the temper that made her ancestors infamous; her great-grandmother was expelled from Hogwarts for turning a girl to stone in a fit of rage. Shrewd and prickly, she detests idealists and scoffs at romantics. Her keen mind and chilly personality separate her from her peers, leading her to seek companionship from men and women much older than herself.
Appearance:
History: She was raised in the ancient MacKinnon estate of Brookwood, by her father. Her mother died in childbirth. The estate is all the family has left, though their name still holds considerable sway in the Wizarding World. They are rumored to be Dark Wizards but the rumors are whispered in secret and nothing has ever been proven. Fiona came to Hogwarts with more knowledge of the Dark Arts than most students have when they leave, but she kept it quiet. Her father still controls vast amounts of wealth and all of it will pass to Fiona when she comes of age, as she is the only child of the family with no cousins to speak of. The MacKinnon line ends with her and the elder MacKinnons never let her forget it.
Pets: Malphas; a demon familiar that takes the shape and personality of a silver-tabby Kneazle in public.
