The Character
Name: Skye Winters
Nicknames (if any): N/A
Age & Year: 15, fifth year
Blood: By this do you mean half-blood, Muggle-born or whatever? Skye's half-blood. His mother was a Muggle, his father a pure-blood wizard.
Wand:
Personality: Somewhat split. When he's on his own, Skye is a very different person. Although so shy he is more or less socially crippled, Skye is very, very inquisitive. In the wrong kind of stuff... He developes a pathological obsession with the Dark Forest and the Restricted Section in the Library. He lurks around the forbiddon corridor and has embarked on a one man mission to discover every single secret passageway in the castle.
Appearance: Of average height and slim, with long white blonde hair kept tied back in a pony tail and cut with chin length bangs in front. Pale green eyes.
History: Skye's Muggle mother died giving birth to him. Due to this, his father utterly rejected him, leaving for long stretches at a time through out his childhood. Skye was mostly raised by his maternal grandparents. When he did return, he was chilly and distant with the young Skye, putting down everything he did and generally making him feel unworthy. Skye developed an inferiority complex and a slight stammer when he was forced to speak to his father. Soon enough, Skye began to hate speaking to anyone. His father's family was one of the old lines of pureblood wizards, and when Skye was eleven, he was forced to go live with his paternal grandparents, as well as enroll at a nearby wizarding school as a day student. Left to his own devises in the family castle because his paternal grandparents wanted even less to do with him than his father, Skye soon became obsessed with the secret tunnels that criss crossed the castle. He quickly learned that if he took some food and disappeared into the tunnels for days on end, no one would miss him and he wouldn't be forced to go to school. Thus his obsession with dark places began.
Sadly it all came to an end in his fourth year, when angry over Skye's frequent truancy, the headmaster of his school asked him to leave. By pulling a few strings, Skye's father managed to get him into Hogwarts. Needless to say, Skye was incredibly distressed upon learning he would be attending a boarding school...
