Felicity stepped through the hole and collapsed onto a chair. She wrapped her arms around her legs and rested her forehead on her knees. Oh she felt so stupid. So embarrassed. Though the logical side of her didn't seem to be getting through. Nobody else knew she was a veela, save for Bry, Bray and Eve. Maybe Char since Bray let it slip to him too. Fay didn't know if the teachers knew, maybe one or two, but she asked for people to keep it secret.
With a sigh, the girl shifted her gaze to the wall. Bray probably didn't want to speak with her. She wouldn't even want to speak with herself. "Yea Fay, charm your friends. Go ahead and charm a teacher too! Let's see how many people we can get." Felicity shook her head and pressed her palm to her forehead. Nobody else was in the common room, so she could yell at herself all she wanted. Nobody would know what she was talking about anyway, they would all probably think she was just nuts. Huh, maybe she was.
Fay removed her palm from her forehead and looked over to the opening of the common room. She really should stop the pity party of hers, but she was just so mad at herself. Felicity thought she had a handle on this whole veela thing, but it seems she was wrong.

"Yea Fay, charm your friends. Go ahead and charm a teacher too! Let's see how many people we can get."
The voice carried up into the girl's dorm, where Nikole sat alone on her bed studying her potions text. Setting the book aside, Nikole decided to step down to the common room and see what the girl that she heard was speaking about. It could be any number of things, so many of the girls here were so dramatic.
When she reached the common room, Nikole saw that Felicity sat alone there and looked pretty miserable. She had known the girl ever since her first year and had talked to her on occasion, since Felicity was just a year older than her. But never before had Nikole noticed the girl behaving so strangely.
"Are you okay, Felicity?" Nikole asked, walking over and sat down in a chair next to Felicity's. She wasn't very good at comforting people, but Nikole would always try. Though often she would just make them feel worse about themselves.

Felicity jumped slightly as Nikole came down and sat by her. She looked over to her, blinked for a moment, then sat back in her chair. "Just the same old stuff wrong with me. I really don't think you would understand." Fay gave her a sad smile. "Not trying to be rude or anything, but I doubt most people in this school know what it's like."
Fay was almost positive that only a few people knew about her secret. Those pretty much included Bry, Bray, Eve, and Char. Maybe Ash, but she wasn't really sure. "Sorry to disturb you though Nikole, didn't think anyone was up or anything. Were you studying?" Her sad attempt to change the subject probably wasn't working.

"Alright," Nikole said with a shrug, accepting that she wouldn't understand. Felicity was probably right, she wouldn't understand. She wasn't very good at relating to people. "You don't have to talk with me about it if you don't want. I just thought you might need someone to talk to."
Nikole smiled at the girl's pitiful attempt to change the subject. "Oh, you didn't disturb me. Well, I wasn't doing anything too important anyway. Just a bit of studying ahead in potions, but I've already study so far ahead it doesn't matter." She answered helping the girl change the subject to something she was more comfortable with.

Bradyn had finally managed to get away from the situation in the corridors. Normally, he would've avoided the common room since he knew Fay was there, but after seeing McCallister as mad as she was this was his safest bet. 'A weak little Ravenclaw hiding out from a Gryffindor in the common room.. is that what I've become?' He thought solemnly when he entered. Bray didn't look up, he knew Fay was there. But when he heard another voice, he was curious who it was. That's when he saw how completely distressed Fay looked.
He sighed and quickly went up the boy's stairs to his dorm. He knew he wouldn't be able focus on anything but his distressed friend, but he didn't go up there to get away. Reaching under his cot quickly, he pulled out a shoe box that he saved his Honeydukes candies in, and pulled out a whole chocolate bar. "Girls like chocolate, right?" He muttered. Grabbing the book off his nightstand, Bray headed back downstairs and dropped the bar of chocolate in Fay's lap. Without a word, he sat down on the couch and cracked open the book and pretended to read.

Felicity grinned slightly at Nikole, thankful for her helping the subject along. "Potions is pretty easy I guess, just gets boring sometimes. I tend to like-" She was cut off by Bray entering the room. A blush flashed across her face as she glared at her lap, refusing to look back up.
A bar of chocolate dropped onto her lap, and she blinked slightly in surprise. She looked up at Bray, then back down at the chocolate. She did this cycle several times. Fay moved the chocolate onto the table and stood. Felicity hugged Bray, probably crushing his book he was fake reading. "Thanks for not hating me. And Bray, your chocolate smells like shoes." She laughed and wrinkled her nose, finally releasing him and sitting back down. She flipped the chocolate over to Bray. "And I wouldn't want to take the last of your candy savings."

Bradyn stared down his book, the words floating at him as he ignored them and focused on the sounds of the room. There were few times he ever used his heightened hearing, and now was one of them. He didn't want Fay to be upset on his account, and he gasped a bit when he was suddenly hugged.
Bray flushed a bit but ignored that and grinned a little. "I'm sorry that I can't keep the smell of Honeydukes in an old shoe box." He said after she left him go, and laughed a bit. Bray caught the chocolate bar and shrugged. "What, you're not watching your weight, are you?" Ah, hopefully he wouldn't get smacked for a comment like that but joking like this did let her know that things were alright again. He picked up his book off the floor and laughed at the smashed pages. 'It wasn't a good book to start with.' He thought and put it back down on the floor. He stared down at the floor, a little confused and hurt by Fay that she'd return his gift so quickly, but he shrugged it off. "So, what were you guys doing in here?" He asked, looking up quickly at Nikole before putting his gaze over to the fireplace.

Felicity sat back down and moved some hair out of her face. She still felt absolutely wretched about not controling her charm, but she was put slightly at ease by the fact taht Bray was willing to forgive her. "If anything I need to gain more weight Bray. So I can slam those bludgers at the other teams." She laughed and leaned back in her seat.
Fay faintly noticed a slightly hurt expression cross Bray's face, and she glanced over to the chocolate. She reached over and opened the package. Fay grabbed a piece of chocolate and popped it into her mouth. "Sorry Bray, it was just too good to resist." Felicity grinned.
"Oh, we were plotting world domination. You know, the usual." Felicity waved her hand flippantly and grinned over at Nikole. "She's actually a great listener."

Nikole sat silently allowing Bradyn and Felicity their time to deal with whatever it was they were obviously having to deal with. Smiling back when Felicity grinned at her Nikole decided that they were done and she could rejoin the room. "Great listener? Really?" Nikole said somewhat surprised. Usually people thought that she was too self-absorbed to be a good listener. She would much rather do something to entertain herself than listen to others.
Nikole glanced over at Bradyn, slightly curious as to what had happened between the two of them, but she didn't care enough to ask. Besides, she didn't like to get involved in other people's business.

Bradyn looked away from the fire when he heard a crinkling, and saw Fay's hand run away with a bit of his chocolate. "Hmph." He tried to look cross, but he just couldn't manage to fake that emotion over something like chocolate. Smiling, he broke off a piece for himself and popped it into his own mouth, remembering with a small that this was the good kind he liked. Bray looked down at the chocolate offered a bit of the bar to Nikole too, not sure whether she was put off by the shoe box comments about it.
"World domination? Oh really?" He said, with exaggerated interest to try and go along with her little spoof for a while. At the same time, it seemed not funny to him that Fay'd joke about something like that while there were certain people striving for that very goal in the Wizarding World. His head ached at the thoughts of the Ministry-Rogue war, and he put them off not wanting to ruin the fun he was having. "I wouldn't want to see this world with such a bossy moose like you in control." He said, grinning and sticking his tongue out at Fay.

"Excuse me, that is Miss Bossy Moose to you Mister." Felicity placed her hands on her hips and turned her head away childishly. "Fine Bray, don't trust me to run anything. I see, I see how it is." She held up her hand, still not looking at Bray. "Just leave me and my terrible moose-like qualities be." Fay sniffled.
The people that knew Fay should probably have known by now that she could be dramatic at times. Such as now for instance. After a moment, Felicity broke down in laughter and flopped back against the couch.

Nikole looked at the chocolate that Bradyn offered her, crinkled her nose, and shook her head. She had never cared much for chocolate and there were the shoe box comments. "No thank you," she said to be polite.
She couldn't help but giggle a little at all the moose talk. She had nothing to say was quite content to just sit there quietly and stare into the fireplace, like she had started doing. For some reason when there was more than one person around her Nikole always became very shy and quiet.

[toFay: Haha, I was picturing Rosemary during that with her fake crying]
Bradyn laughed, not expecting one of Fay's drama shows. "Oh no! How could I be so cruel to say such things aloud about the Great Fay Locke." He said, going along with the drama. "Surely I must be a lowly, mistaken fool." He said, though there wasn't much emotion in his voice. Shrugging when Nikole rejected his chocolate, he put it into his pocket with his wand. Now that it was open, it was just be so much torture for him to have to finish it. God forbid, he had to eat chocolate!
Bray got up from his chair and went to sit in front of the fireplace on the floor, where he usually sat in the common room. He preferred the warmth of the fire rather than the warn-down recliners that had who-knows-who sitting in it for years.
