Rhiannon stood up and stared at the woman in black. 'Minister?' She repeated, her eyebrows now raised. What is the ministry doing here? Was it just a coincidence that Dr. Bunchington had been speaking of the ministry's plans and at the hour of his death appeared such an important member of it? Rhian felt an immediate distrust for Deitrich, which deepened with the Minister's cold formality about the whole situation.
'Now, tell me everything...'
Rhian knew she was up to something and she now knew that perhaps not all of Dr. Bunchington's words had been mad ramblings. 'I had just been following a trail-' She began, in such a way that the minister perhaps would believe she was telling her everything. 'I was knelt down here-' She pointed over to a spot metres away from the drops of unicorn blood. 'There was noise from the bushes right here and Dr. Bunchington came walking out... he pointed his wand at me and there was a flash of green light-' She paused. 'And that was it, he was dead'
Rhiannon looked away from the intense gaze of Deitrich. 'None of this is important though. The fact is he's dead and so is some poor girl... I must go to her now.' Rhian turned away from the Minister and before she could listen to any more unfeeling formality, set off for the castle at an urgent jog. How could this have happened? Kept looping around through her mind.
