Munchy took a step back, "No!" He cried. "I had to, she would've told the headmaster..." "Shut up you wretch! I ask the questions!" Munchy was fliping from sorrow to anger and back as if a coin was being tossed. "You dare question me?!" Came Munchy's harpie scream. "CRUCIO!" Mere moments after the spell had been cast Munchy stopped and fell to the floor. "No more... I don't want to do it any more." He argued with an invisible entity. "I've got to protect the school!" Came the rebuttle. "No... No more." "She's working with them." "It doesn't matter anymore." As if he were fighting with himself Munchy tossed the wands away. "NO!" Came a cry... which part of Munchy it came from was irrellevant, his mind was shattered beyond repair. Breaking down into a fit of tears Munchy tried to offer an explanation: "I didn't want to kill her... There's been so much darkness inside me, its the blood..." Munchy's voice changed to one that was suited to a recitation. "An act so evil as stealing unicorn blood may force, if habitually repeated, the theif to take on a persona fitting to the act. If the blood is taken for the purposes of prolonging life the life lived would be fitting only for a monster to live..." Even after knowing this Munchy knewhis actions were his own doing and no one else was to blame, he had always been a bad man. His youth was a dark time and his early adult life was no better, but still through all this Munchy still held himself responsible for his own actions.

Rhiannon eyes widened slightly. 'Who would have told the Headmaster? What have you done??' She dared another step towards him, and immediately felt pain shooting into her as he cried the Cruciatus Curse for a second time. She felt her knees weakening under the sheer piercing pain, when he suddenly stopped. Rhian breathed heavily as she watched him fall with tear-filled eyes to the ground.
'I didn't want to kill her...'
'Kill?' It can't be true... but then seeing the shell of the man before her, she realised it was more than likely the truth. 'Who have you killed?!' She said, her voice shaking slightly as the thought began to absorb in her mind. It was then that his voice oddly changed, as if he was reading formally from a text book. She knew the words very well - she knew the crime associated with drinking the blood of an unicorn and she knew the punishment.. though she had never before actually witnessed the pain...

"Gaia, Gaia DeBoer; A girl, a beautiful, wonderfully smart little girl..." Munchy cried. "I didn't want to. I had to..." His voice trailed off as he convulsed in his own agony. "In the library... I killed her! I killed her!" He wept. "Why? I didn't want to..." His huge frame seemed childlike as he wept in self pitty and loathing wishing to take his actions back, wishing there was something he could do. However there was none and he knew it... Soon he would face the consiquences, if he lived long enough.

Rhia's hand covered her mouth in shock. A student... he's killed a student... Her brief sympathy had disappeared to never return. Her head was trying to convince herself that it couldn't be true, but her sinking heart knew it was. The Library... I must get there... It was now or never. The weakness was her chance.
Rhiannon dived forwards where the agonised man had discarded the wands, and managed to grasp and point them at him in one swift movement. 'I can see you've always set out with good intentions.' She began, slowly circling and watching him closely. 'But killing a student?' She stared at him with glistening eyes. 'What the hell did you think that would achieve?!' She was no longer sure her raged words were getting through to him. It all has to stop here...
Keeping his own wand pointed towards his chest, she directed her own elm towards the castle. 'Expecto Patronus!' A silvery phantom shape of a small vixen came protruding out of her wand, and went bounding off towards the castle. After all of the Forest trouble last year, The Headmaster had informed the staff to use their patronus almost as a SOS... Come on somebody... anybody...
(( Yeah I know, its what the Order used and a complete lie, but I wanted to do it too! As for "help arriving", we may need someone but for now - still closed. ))

Rhia's anger had tipped the balance in Munchy's mind. He was like a drug addict fighting for a fix. Lunging forwards he made a failed attempt at grabbing his wand. Trying again Munchy got to his feet preparing himself to use his full size and weight to his advantage.
"Achive?! Achive?! It achived my protection! If I am to remain immortal i can't go round letting little girl reveal me to their teachers can i?! CAN I?!" Munchy bellowed.
"You sniveling little half blood nobody! I'm going to have to kill you, and the rest of your pathetic coworkers! I'm going to return Hogwarts to glory... We will have an army of students and then... then we can overthrow then ministry!"
Munchy was clearly insane...

There was a physical struggle for the wands, in which Rhiannon only just managed to keep hold of them. She jumped backwards from the ex-Auror, her battered and bruised body shooting with pain at the sudden movement. Her face bore new scratches with the struggle, and blood trickled ominously down her cheek.
'I thought you were the "best Auror in the business" ' She sneered, his crime to creature and human enraging her as bad as ever. 'Ever heard of a memory charm?!' She spat out the words, he shouldn't have done anything to the poor girl but murder was certainly not necessary.
'You sniveling little half blood nobody! I'm going to have to kill you, and the rest of your pathetic coworkers!'
He is forgetting one thing... 'I'm not so easy to kill... INCAR-'

"Argh!" Munchy yelled as he dove forwards towards Rhia. I was the best in the buisness, i still am! Munchy thought to himself. Pinning Rhia to the floor Munchy scratched and scraped at her hands trying to force her to release the wands. "I am the best..." Munchy growled at her. "I'm the most powerful wizzard ever to have lived! People will learn to fear me like they feared Voldemort. I will be their new terror, I will be the reason children will wake up screaming, soaked in their own sweat. I am the future." Finally taking a wand from Rhia he leapt of her, agile for a man of his age and body mass. "Would you care to take the first move my dear?" He sneered at his oponent.

Rhiannon yelled out as the man threw himself into her and pinned her roughly to the ground. She tried to shout spells... wriggled, kicked, punched... anything, but she couldn't stop him managing to retrieve his wand once more.
'Like Voldemort?!' She gave out a sharp laugh in somewhat disbelief. 'I thought you wanted to help these kids... help this school... help life! But Voldemort stood for everything opposite to that -- he stood for death.' She had been beginning to believe that the Dr. had a real mission - that he had been doing something right, but now perhaps she saw the true selfish reasons behind his actions.
'Would you care to take the first move my dear?'
She had jumped up to stand in a dueling position, and hardly a second after his words, she yelled 'EXPELLIARMUS!'

"Protego!" He cried. "You know nothing about duels my dear! I've duelled more people than you've had the pleasure of making the aquaintance of!"
His mind was no longer his own. The evil had permiated deep into his soul like water in a sponge. There was nothing anyone could ever bring him back now... Munchy Bunchington was gone forever.
"It is time for this saga to end! Hogwarts is mine now woman! Bow before me or DIE!
[glow=green,1,300]"Avadra Kedavra!" [/glow] He screamed at Rhia, finally losing his patience, wanting her dead.

(( Haha... oh dear, this thread is so cheap.. ))
The flash of disarming light flew at Munchy and came uneasily bounding off his magical barrier which he only managed to conjure just in time. He's gone... She thought to herself in realisation, as he continued to rant in madness. Completely gone... The paranoia had won the battle against the sense and was chipping away the mind like a chisel against stone.
The shield... his wand... the struggle... No time for thinking.
'Avada Kedavra!' A flash of green light.

(In order to make any sense of this the reader must have read the aforementioned thread recently as modifications have been made. Sorry folks.)
That flash of light would become forever etched on Munchy's soul. It marked the very moment his soul was wrenched from his body leaving his flesh hollow and worthless.
Dr Bunchington did not know of Madam Deitrich's hex nor of its effects, now he never would.
His death was quick, as for the question of pain no one will ever know if he felt any at all.
Illyana's hex was brilliant, if a certain spell was cast, in this case the Killing Curse that spell would not reach the desired recipitent but instead return to the caster.
Unfortunatly for Munchy this led to his early demise and the end of his mad rantings.
There was no peace in Munchy's life and he deserved none in death. He was killed by the very instrument that had broken him. The words he had used so very often to the horror of others had been the ones to end his misery of a life.
He was gone. Extinguished like a flame. A fading picture.
A fading memory.

Time seemed to have stopped. The blinding green light seemed to issue out of his wand in almost slow motion, as Rhiannon gave out a yell and her eyes snapped shut. Darkness. Was this death?
THUD.
After what seemed like a very long time, Rhian opened one of her eyes slowly, her heart beating faster than ever. Something like relief flooded into her at the sight of the Forest... she was still there... she was still alive. The other eye flew open and her mouth fell open to see the Dr. slumped awkwardly on the ground, lifeless.
She threw herself to the ground to check for a pulse. This was the result she had been trying so hard to avoid. What the hell happened? That spell had been meant for her -- that spell should have killed her -- yet her she was alive, and there he was dead. She knelt there, helpless... but not alone.

Stepping out of the dense wood Illyana moved forwards into the light, allowing Rhiannon to see her. The dim light from the moon caught her dazzlingly white hair and shimmered for a moment.
Slowly and wordlessly Illyana walked over to Dr Bunchington's warm body and stood beside where Rhiannon was kneeling. Illyana put a hand on her shoulder and said calmly and quietly, "We have to contain this situation. No students or parents must know about this; we don't want to start mass hysteria."
Illyana said nothing of her hex. Nothing of who she was. Nothing at all but the words her training had provided for her.
Here he was, her old teacher, lying dead in front of her; her own doing, and all she can say is the ministry mantra.
She sickened herself.
Ripping the white rose she always wore out of her button hole she dropped it on top of Munchy. Crouching to the ground she put her hand to his eyes and pulled his eyelids down, covering his shimmering irises.

If anyone had been to follow that silvery vixen that had come flowing out Rhiannon's wand, they would have seen it bounding along the original trial that she had been following... getting further and further from the caster. The trees were quickly thinning as it nearly reached the boundary of the Forbidden Forest, as its journey abruptly stopped. It had served its purpose - it had reached someone - but not someone Rhian would have expected.
And here she was, the recipient. She stepped out of the shadows dressed all in black but for the white rose slipped in the button hole. Her hair was of a striking white, her expression one of formal coldness.
'We have to contain this situation. No students or parents must know about this; we don't want to start mass hysteria.'
Rhiannon mouth gaped open, whether in confusement, disgust or surprise, she didn't know. 'Who the hell are you??' Subtle as ever.

"Illyana Deitrich. Minister of Enlightenment. I would say it was a pleasure to meet you but under the circumstances I don't think it is apropriate." Illyana did not extend her hand or offer any form of greeting.
"Dr Bunchington's corpse will be delt with appropriatly by my people." Illyana explained as she touched her wand to his head causing his body to disappear.
"Now, tell me everything... If i'm going to deal with this situation i need to know the full story." Illyana used the most authoritive voice under command, adding as an after thought "However insignificant or inapropriate it may seem."
