Grace raised an eyebrow, questioningly. "What have you done sir?" she asked. She had wanted to ask about the 'hundreds of years' comment, but she thought it was just his protest at being so old.

"Things i'm not at liberty to discuss with a Student." Munchy explained. "All i'll say is that the ministry is not all hugs and puppies, its dark, darker than you might think."

Grace nodded in acknowledgement, she understood. "Are you really hundreds of years old, sir?" she asked, trying to be as respectful as she could. The previous comment was still playing at her mind and she needed to know.

"Perhaps, Perhaps not..." Munchy was trying to hold his secret close to his chest. Perhaps its time to let it go... Munchy thought.
Munchy sat down on the floor, resting his back on the bookcase. He motioned for Grace to join him on the floor.
"Perhaps its time for me to let it go..." Munchy began, "A long time ago, when i first joined the ministry I saw something, something that got me scared. I'd finished teaching here for the first time and when you teach here you're loyal to the school for life. It's something you can't get away from... "Anyway, i saw something at the ministry which scared me so i decided that as long as i lived i would protect the school from the ministry, and so I shall, for as long as i can."

Grace frowned at the frail old man. She sat down on the floor next to him and tucked her cold hands into her lap. She watched the deep lines on his face as he spoke and listened to the husky voice. "I can understand how you can feel protective about this school. I too would want to protect it against anyone and anything that would won't to harm it but what could possibly frighten you? And why would the ministry do something to our school, it is a school after all."

(ooc: Poo bum! Sorry, i think i was confusled, grace it is then. sorry once again!)
"Ah my dear, this school only exists because the ministry wants it to, allows it to. As soon as the school starts doing things the ministry doesn't like it becomes a hazard for the wizzarding world. It's happened before; you may have heard of a 'Proffessor Umbridge'. She and i used to be friends, a long time ago... she stepped in when the school was not perfoming its role and i fear that this may happen again soon enough."

((lol! just had to check!))
Grace frowned. Professor Umbridge? Grace pondered, Friends? Then he must truly be hundreds of years old! She smiled crossed her face at the thought, then it vanished. "You mean they mean to take over?" She remembered Bog mentioning something about the ministry taking control of Hogwarts but though it was just Bog being Bog. Could they really do that?
