Andie groaned in frustration as yet another Hufflepuff took controll of the Quaffle. "Ravenclaw!" she screamed furiously at the top of her voice, "How hard is it, to keep hold of the Quaffle!? Get your butts moving!" Okay, deep breaths Andie, calm down... screaming at your team will get you nowhere. Except perhaps locked in the broomshed at the end of the match... she told herself as she took deep calming breaths and ran her hands through her hair.

Alexis could almost feel her anger bubbling up to the surface. That quaffle had been hers and it was stolen. She was looking around for a beater she wanted payback on Hufflepuff, but at that moment there were none nearby and Andrea who had witnessed what just happened was also not very pleased. Going after the quaffle she watched Girty toss it once again and due to some very fancy flying she managed to reach it once again just in time. Catching it in the tip of her fingers she chose not to linger and she took off like a bat out of hell for the Hufflepuff posts. This time she did not let go of the ball and did not look for any other teammates to help her, she flew straight at the goals and when she was near enough decided that now was as good a time as any when no one had been following her to throw it after seeing the Hufflepuff keeper out of position.

Grace had been sitting on her broom high above the roaring stands. Yellow was the colour of choice today and she was right there with them, cheering her team on. She was gripping her broom handle very tight, on the edge of her seat. She was ready for anything. But nothing came her way.
For a moment or two, the quaffle was in the able hands of some Ravenclaw chasers and she did her figure eight but the quaffle always landed back with the Hufflepuffs. Grace grinned at every goal. She, in her strange way, wanted the Ravenclaws to gain more posession of the quaffle so she could get some action too. Her chance came, though, when an ambitious Ravenclaw gained the quaffle after Hufflepuff's fourth goal.
Grace, flying her eight formation to cover all the goals as best she could, eyed the Ravenclaw. She was in front of the center hoop, the left, center, right. Grace loosened the grip of her right hand on the broom and prepared for the Ravenclaw to shoot.

Luckily for Hufflepuff Boggleworth was on the ball; quite literally as he dived down from on high and deflty snatched the flying quaffle from out of mid air. Wishing he could give Grace a wave and utter a joke of I saved your skin there or something so witty along those lines, he had a duty; to score again and again for Hufflepuff. So careering around he flew between the stands taking a wider angle to avoid so much attention from bludgers and hopefully be quick enough to keep the Ravenclaw chasers out of position.
Swooping away Boggleworth's eagle eyes spied a Hufflepuff player, one he presumed was a chaser as they held no bat, so he threw it long in their direction.

Olivia flew out of no where. She had been distracted by a Bludger and lost her concentration. Now back on course she saw a brilliant save from Henry. Of course she was sure that Grace had it under control, as long as Hufflepuff had the quaffle, Liv didn't care how they had gotten it.
The fifth year sped up to catch up with Henry. She was being blocked by all sorts of Ravenclaw players. She swerved in and out from amongst them. Finally she saw an opening, and raced towards it. Henry saw her move and threw the quaffle perfectly to her. Liv took a deep breathe, and caught the red ball, holding it close to her body.
Liv flew toward the goal hoops. She knew Hufflepuff was leading, but not by enough of a margin. The wind blew in her eyes, causing her to squint. She saw a blockade coming her way. Spotting yellow robes next to her she threw the quaffle to them, speeding forward to find a position to make a goal.

Girty had been hanging around near the Ravenclaw posts knowing that the other had it in control. She watched as Ravenclaw got close but Bog and Olivia made a good team and they managed to win the quaffle back and Hufflepuff where on the attack once again. Gently flying the broom into position Girty managed to shake off the chaser that was marking her and sped towards Olivia and the quaffle that she had just threw in her direction. Lifting her hands off her broom handle Girty reached out and brought the quaffle safely to her chest. A good throw and an easy pass, it was almost turning into a training session.
With a small wave at Liv Girty avoided the tackle of a Ravenclaw and flew towards the middle post. With a board smile she pulled her arm back and threw the quaffle square in the middle and watched it fly closer to the hoop. All she could do was wait with baited breath and hope the keeper did not reach it in time. GOAL - 50 10

(*Kicks Ravenclaws*Your possession if I'm not mistaken. Lets get going here!)
Amazing teamwork. Liv thought as she witnessed the quaffle sail right through the Ravenclaw goal again. Taking a second to clap for her teammates, she looked around the pitch. Her team was playing amazingly. She couldn't be happier.
Just a few more goals.. she thought, but then reminded herself not to count her chickens. It was all up to the seekers in the end. Unless her Hufflepuff's could get, and then keep, the score one-hundred-and-fifty points above the Ravenclaws, her seeker needed to come through for her.

((Hmm... this might not work... I mean what's Ravenclaw gonna do without their Captain and Seeker? Andie's left school. So unless we can find a way to stick Ashton in there without it looking too weird... we might as well just end the game...))
Liz Edit: I know what you mean Kris....however I believe we keep playing as if it was still going on when these peeps were in school. So you still use Andie as the Seeker but in the other threads Ashton is the captain.......if that makes any sense.

((Aye. As far as I know Quidditch doesn't run on the same time as everything else. So basically, Andie is still captain and seeker her but Ashton is captain everywhere else. Just like Liz said. that's my two cents))
Grace had been so ready to defend her posts against the onslaught of Alexis's fury but fortunately for her she didn't have to. Bog come to her rescue and stole the quaffle away. Grace cheered and clapped loudly, balancing perfectly on her broom while not holding on at all, a neat trick she had been practicing. Next, Olivia had the quaffle and dodged many of the chasers, then Girty had it and made the winning shot, earning Hufflepuff another ten points. Grace, though having received very little action was very proud of her team mates and cheered and clapped along with the crowds of students supporting Hufflepuff that day.

((alright, works for me. but i'm still confused about the whole catching the snitch thing... I mean i know someone plays the snitch, but whoever does, is obviously not going to be back for a while, and we can't keep waiting for the snitch to post. so here's my recomendation, the Seekers do the usual ten posts, chasing the snitch, then after that, whoever posts next, makes a post catching the snitch. how's that sound?))
Andie sighed, the score was currently 50-10, with Hufflepuff in the lead. It was going to take miracle to get Ravenclaw to pull ahead. She scanned around for the snitch, her sharp eyes caught a glimpse of it flittering around some bushes near the Ravenclaw stands, but just as she zoomed forward, the snitch took off and she lost sight of it once more. Sighing, Andie settled back once more, and continued to circled the pitch from above, all the while, shouting words of encouragment- okay and a few threats as well- to her team. She really wanted Ravenclaw to win, sure she loved Grace, the Hufflepuff captain, after all the girl was one of her best friends, but that didn't change the fact that Andie wanted to beat the stuffing out of her and her team!
