Gail, I feel very weird doing this when no one can actually see in this board…
"Today I may not be needed to sort, But let me remind you what I've already taught.
Gryffindors are those who are brave and bold, Ravenclaws renowned for the knowledge they hold. Hufflepuffs are found to be loyal and true, Slytherins determined, not forgetting cunning too.
You all belong to just one of the four, But must use them all to win for sure.
Finally understand that such riddles shall be the key, For this certainly shan't be the last that you'll see."
I think that the third verse suggests that the Champions will be faced with challenges that are suited to their particular talents, but that they’ll be introduced to having to improvise, confronted with scenarios that would usually be beyond their skill. Hufflepuffs will have to find intelligence, Slytherins trueness, Ravenclaws bravery and Gryffindors cunning. They will have to pay attention and benefit from what the other Champions can offer as example.
Loren would naturally excel in a task where logical thinking, wit or specialist knowledge is required. The song basically hints that she’s going to have to rely on more than just her brain to win, just as a Gryffindor will require more than just brawn.
The last part of the song means there will be more riddles to solve in order to know what is coming or what is required. They’ll probably be announced during the tasks as clues.
