((Open for those who like to sneak around in (used to be) abandoned classrooms.))
The new term would be on its way, and with this he’d be starting the new class Arithmancy. He sighed softly a weary look now planted on his pale face. He continued to walk down the corridor and entered his quarters, rather than his office. Greeted by the symmetrically designed and spotlessly clean room, he seemed to slump, exhaustion plainly obvious. He took another deep breath before heading through to his office, which then lead to his new classroom.
He gagged loudly, hardly able to hold it back. The wonderfully clean doors had been deceiving and as he set his shining black dress shoes onto the cold stone floor, he realized what a mess he was in. He had nearly spent all his time here, rearranging and fixating his time on his office and quarters, he never thought the classroom would never have been so foul.
There seemed to be no dust, which prevented him from collapsing in agony, but old stained-white blankets lay over the congagrated mass of desks far to the south-west corner. Not only did this horrendous disarray of organization bother him, but on top of it all the shelves seemed to be scattered in several different locations around the room, the chalkboard lay flat and scuffled by the north wall and the largest desk, which he assumed would be for him, was piled high with paperwork from some previous Professor.
He bit his tongue harshly, a muscle twitching beneath his eye. He slowly reached into his cloak, unveiling a dark wand. He exhaled sharply through his pointed noise, and flicked his wrist. The stale blankets were tossed into a clear section of stone, and burst into a series of greenish-blue flames, leaving not a single mark on the floor, but clearly gone once the fire had burned out. It was only the start of his rampage of cleanliness, and Merlin have mercy on any sould who tried to interrupt him.

This room was positively disgusting! If it weren't for the possibility of leftover items - such as a stray quill or an extra jar of ink - she would never have even cared to enter it. The sound of approaching footsteps momentarily ceased her search and, as the animagi listened closely, learned the location of the person to be close. "Damn." She cursed, mentally calculating if she had enough time to change into her cat form without being found half way through. The result? Not nearly enough time. She could do it in a heartbeat, but a heartbeat was all she had to take cover. Practically flying towards the dirty sheets covering the tables, Erys slid underneath, hugging her knees to her chest. Which would be her current state when the blankets of safety were flung away, revealing herself to this irritated professor. Hoping he wouldn't notice her amidst all the grunge and dirt, she held her breath, as if that would save her from being seen. Well, this is unfortunate.. Erys thought to herself, narrowing her eyes. She had exited her Ancient Runes class and meandered her way over here. The doors had been deceiving, yes, and left open, so the Slytherin girl had decided to take a little peek inside. It was so exciting to explore the school. So her story when the professor spotted her would be that he had startled her, and she had gotten lost on the way to her dorms. Plus, she was really new to Hogwarts, so that gave her some points.
Quieter than a mouse, Erys huddled there, not daring to move. Barely even breathing if it werent for the slow, soundless exhales every so often, when holding it in any longer was impossible. Peering out from underneath the table at the clean-freak, the witch instantly realised she hadn't met him yet. That would give her some reason to get out of here detention-free, right? He couldn't be that heartless to DT a new student. Besides being only slightly uncomfortable, Erys managed to grin: she had gotten out of sticky situations before, she could do it again. With how she could miraculously spring tears to her eyes to get herself out of trouble, Erys could do almost anything, be it harmless and easily fixable. Tightening her hold around her legs, she made sure her shoes weren't sticking out, glancing at the teacher every so often and praying he didn't notice her.
Some sixth year student had mentioned to her that he taught Arithmancy. Which had something to do with numbers, like the muggles and their 'Arithmetics'. Right? What the mancy was, she didn't know. Pausing her over-worked brain to remember the class sheet she had received before enrolling, Erys rolled her eyes- recalling now that it might have to do with divination, only using numbers. Ugh.. She thought, relieved to know she hadn't signed up for that class this year. Last years A class at her old school was horrible, but it was the reason she didn't have to take it this year, so she had to give it that much. But still, Erys hated math.

Sarie was walking past the an class room when she heard some movement down inside. She took a peak and saw Prof. Lindstrand who had just started. It looked like he was getting ready from the next term. Sarie was thinking about taking the class but she wasn't sure.
Sarie look around the room it look like it hadn't been used for a long time. "Do you want some help?" She asked looking around the really dusty room. She was hoping the Professor wouldn't be insulted by her asking. She smiled.

Bieng in such an obssesive state of mind, many would have thought the focused mand would be oblivious to many of the more minor issues such as the miniscul amount of sobwebs in the corner, or the barely showing trails of rat footprints, but oh he was on an obsession much more peculiar than that of an ‘average’ wizard. He seemed to notice even more the flaunted details, each one screeching a new disgusting tale to his overwhelmed brain, all telling him the same message. Dirty. Dirty. Dirty.
He seemed to flick his wand wildly about the room, in almost-mad gestures. A desk swooshed away, a cabinet groaned as it was dragged across the room. It seemed almost as if every item in the room was possessed by more then this one man’s magic, but rather a convulsing crowd of angry demons. Every thing shook and groaned and moaned as it was moved about, but then all it once it stopped. His lips quivered as if he was chilled by a feverish shiver, and his eyes flicked downwards to a small footprint on a piece of paper. His jaw seem to set firmly and he waved his wand precisely across the footprint, which suddenly glowed a bright pink.
“By the looks of your footprint, you’re still here.” He growled softly. “Homenum Revelio”
He swooped upwards, his brown cloak loudly snapping with the sudden movement. He paused for a moment, his eyes lyingon the soft glow coming from the desks.
“Stand--“ he was suddenly interrupted by another girl, Who had entered quite unannounced and spoke timidly. His green eyes flashed to the door and once again a muscle in his check twitched, making it seem as if he was holding back a curl of the lip.
“Both of you, line up, now.” He grumbled, “It looks like I’ve got some help.”

Extremely tempted to morph into a cat and bolt out of there, Erys tapped her fingernails against her chin, debating on whether or not it was a good idea. On one hand, she would get out of cleaning, but on the other, Slytherin might be granted more house points for being good samaritans. Sacrificing her free time for the good of Slytherin, she crawled out from underneath the desk, her jaw locked. Who wanted to clean, anyway? It was downright mind-boggling, that Sarie girl, always around and helping people and making friends. The little first year never seemed to express anger or sadness; it was as if she was robotic. Sighing, for it was all she could do, Erys retrieved her wand from her robes, dusting herself off in the meantime. "Yes, professor." With a sharp flick of her wrist, and a quick murmuring of, "Scourgify." the chalkboard was cleaned of any scuffles. If there werent any cracks to repair in its surface, Erys edged a little closer, wondering how she could attatch it to the wall. Landing with the only possibility in her mind right now, a sticking charm, her gaze landed on the professor. "Where do you want this thing?" The animagus asked, while levitating it easily in the air. Careful not to hit anything, or the first year, Erys continued to stare at him, her arm extended to keep control of the big board.
You know, she could have gotten out of cleaning if she wanted to. If it werent for the constant desire of gaining her house points, then Erys would have been out of there faster than a jack rabbit on drugs. She'd have morphed into a cat, then shot out of there with the hopes of not being Accio'd back. Fortunately for them, she was in a good, earning mood today. Never slipping up or losing control of her floating object, as good students were with their spells, she pasted on a sickly sweet smile, awaiting his answer.

Sarie felt a bit worried. She really didn't get along with Erys. But she over looked that and followed her lead hopping the spell wasn't to advance for her. "Scourgify" The dust disappeared of one of the desks and that was about it. Alright then baby steps. she thought as she repeated the spell and clean off an another desk.

Jhudora hummed cheerfully as she strolled along the familiar corridors, few people crossing her path. This year’s exams had ended not a couple of days ago, and happy to finally have them over with Jhudora had steadily been transferring her extensive but no longer needed collection of revision notes to one of the many empty classrooms around Hogwarts - namely the Arithmancy one. Such a mysterious and fiercely complicated subject, Hogwarts had been without an Arithmancy professor for several years, and so the classroom had turned into nothing more than a place for students and teachers alike to store books and papers - or, if need be, incriminating evidence - for a later date.
Of course, Jhudora being a model student and prized Ravenclaw incapable of anything devious - ha! - was the former. While she rarely needed to look back on anything she had written down or read in the past, there was certainly no harm in having a backup plan if you completely forgot the ingredients to the Draught of Living Death all of a sudden.
With the heavy stack of parchment tucked securely under one arm, Jhudora smiled as she turned into the corridor of the classroom in question. However, to her dismay the door stood open - the tail of Gryffindor-red robes disappearing inside. You’re not the only one who uses it, you know, said a know-it-all voice. ‘It was my hiding place.’ Jhudora complained back, nonplussed, as she quietened her footsteps and snuck up to the door, putting her eye to the crack of the hinge.
Inside stood a Slytherin girl who she recognised to be Erys Grace, and opposite her, a man she had never seen before. With short black hair and a slender, pronounced face, he looked rather strict, his paleness haunting and ethereal. Jhudora had never seen him before in her life but he stood in the middle of the room with purpose, as if he had the right to be there. ‘Bugger it all!’ She whispered. If this was the new Arithmancy teacher - this his classroom - then he definitely wouldn’t appreciate the fact that she’d contributed to the mess he was currently sneering upon.

Angel had been sitting outside just staring into space not really wanting to be there at the school anymore but her parents would skin her alive if she took off like that one day she was caught at the gates trying to force them to let her out. In all her years there she still felt like she was in prision being forced to consort with all those who in her opinion were unworthy to be around her.
Seeing a Gryffindor come running out she could smell the mudblood filth coming from her so taking out her wand she hexed the girl and watched her come crashing down to the ground. Smiling to herself she got up and headed back inside her day was now ruined. All she had wanted to do was be alone but it seemed impossible to do at times here at school.
Remembering talk of an abandoned room that used to be used for some subject or another Angel decided to go on an exloration expedition. Making her way there she found the corridor easily, her memory of the conversation in the common room clear as day, she expected to see a closed door but from her vantage point she could see that it was opened and that she wasn't the only one who had wanted to be alone, there was a girl standing there already and Angel allowing her curiosity to get the better of her she walked up and asked, 'what's going on in there?'

'Shhh!' Jhudora breathed urgently while flapping her hand up and down in front of the newly arrived Slytherin girl's face, although not angrily.
Stepping aside a little, she allowed her to also look through the crack, guessing it would do neither of them any good to get caught by the mysterious new professor, who had just ordered Erys and a mousy little Gryffindor called Sarie to line up in front of him. He was actually going to make them clean. 'D'you recognise him?' Jhudora whispered, glancing at the other girl - who was very pretty - before putting her eye back to the crack. 'We should probably go before he rakes us in too!' She joked under her breath, taking a step back.
Her elbow - the one supporting all the papers - accidentally bashed into the Slytherin's. 'Oh!' She gasped, wincing as the pile fell to the floor with a heavy thud. Well done, she cursed herself. The professor would undoubtedly know they were there now, and so Jhudora conceded defeat, slowly pushing the door open. 'Hello, professor.' She smiled weakly before looking to the Slytherin apologetically. 'I'm Jhudora, by the way.'

His anger had just begun to simmer down into a splash of irritation, the girls had not complained to straighten up for him, which would have caused him an outburst in front of students. Hw tapped his wand softly against his other hand as he watched the two clean rapidly, never lifting a finger to help. “Now I want the room symmetrical. You are all old enough to know the meaning of symmetrical, yes?” he said sneeringly, “It would be wise to clean this room well, or you may find 30 points missing from your houses. Yes, both of you.” There was a soft purple beneath his eyes and despite his weariness, he held the perfect poker face. In his sheer boredom of waiting for the two girls to finish, the young man had begun a task he found that pleasantly passed the time; So far he had counted 236 stones in the wall when one of the girls spoke up again. He frowned impatiently at the smiling girl, flicking his wand. “I’ll handle that.” He grumbled, as the board swung violently upwards nearly hitting the Slytherin, clacking loudly against the stone directly parallel to the door, that lay straight across the room. He stood for a moment, eyeing the sides of the board. It had to be precise, if it wasn’t it would drive him mad. He squinted hard, and one again twisted his hand, the board seemed to shift only a half-millimeter, but as it lay still he nodded. “Remember to clean both[/] sides, Slytherin.” He growled, he knew his demands were painstakingly high, but he needed cleanliness, he needed it desperately. ”Align everything equally on both sides of the center line, which if you are to dull to notice is between that filthy board,” He turned his wand towards the now straightened chalkboard, “ and the entrance to this room.” He turned again, pointing towards the door. As he finished this statement, there came a loud thump and he shot his glance between the crack to see a shadow. The door began to open slowly, but he pointed the wand fiercly towards the exit, the wooden entrance burst open to its farthest reach, the thick wood slamming hard against the wall. He took a deep breath, before taking four large steps towards the girls, muttering hateful curses to himself.
“In.Now.” he snapped, “I swear the next child that dawdles into my room will find himself legless.” His breath quivered and he seemed to whisper the words. He wasn’t the shouting type, but his agitation was none-the-less obvious.

Sarie came round only to hear a loud thud as the door hit the wall. She saw the Professor. Her chest hurt but it would fade soon. She started to sit up. She couldn't it hurt to much.
Brused ribbs,[i/] thought. Great just great! All I wanted to do is help but no!

Dodging the oncoming board with a surprised grunt, Erys narrowed her eyes, forcing her temper under control. He was a teacher, who had the power to dock Slytherin points; something she really didn't need right now. "Yes, professor." She muttered, cleaning the other side swiftly before going for another area. Pointing her wand at a grungy spot on the floor and cleaning it with Scourgify. Keeping it in mind to have the ground spotless, and as symmetrical as he wanted, the sixth year carefully studied the room, pinpointing the dirty areas with a quick glance. After whipping her wand pretty much everywhere, and silently speaking enough Scourgify's to make her rather sick of the word, she then had a sparkling clean room. Tutting with satisfaction - as she loved a good job - before catching the sorry glance (be it to her or the other Slytherin, she hadn't known) Erys smiled coolly. "Hey. You're just in time to help out." She remarked playfully, grinning.
Leaving the conversation at that, she began arranging everything equally and symmetrically just as Professor Lindstrand had asked, careful to obey his demands without snapping. He was quite the meticulous man, she couldn't help noticing. Taking a seconds-long break to look at the frustrated first year, Erys arched an eyebrow, surprised at how short the span of Sarie's patience was. Surely she wasn't going to break this early in the game? If Sarie wanted to quit, then all the power to her. But that would result in a loss of thirty whole points to Gryffindor. Now that she thought of it.. Well, the prospect sounded perfect to Erys.
Finishing her break as quickly as it started, she decided to start on the windows next. Assuming there actually were windows.

Sarie tried to sit up again she made it. "Owww." She got back up holding her ribs. She staggered up and back up into the class room. "Scourgify." She said as she pointed her wand at another spot in the very dusty room. She held her ribs she have the nurse look at them later.
