As the cub ended up in Girty’s lap, she started open mouthed at it. The poor creature should not be treated like this. After the few seconds of shock had past Girty moved her right hand up and started to stroke the small ball of fluff slowly trying to calm it down. However it was not helped by the fact that the Professor had tempted the creature to bite his gloved figure.
Getting rather frustrated at how Starsmore was treating the cub Girty gave him a slight tug to get it off the Professor. The creature gave a small whimper and tried to snap at the Professor one more time but Girty kept a tight grip around the creature while listening to what the Gryffindor had to say.
“You can just tell when you look at them, the attitude they have. As you approach a werewolf you sense that they are not…well normal, when with a dog they act differently. They are trained creatures and follow orders, werewolf’s are there own boss.”
Girty was making no sense and even she did not know what she was rambling on about. Deciding it best to remain silent she continued to try to prevent the cub from breaking free.

'So-rry,' Loren muttered under her breath as the professor snapped at her once more, writing off her suggestion as utterly stupid. If Girty can hold it why can't I? Don't see why I can't wear the stupid gloves! She thought viciously, crossing her arms and glaring.
As Soph and Girty took turns answering, Loren admired the cub, looking for her own clues. She had read plenty of werewolves in her third year with a long-gone professor she could not remember the name of, but the only thing she could remember that had not already been said was the talk of eyes.
'The eyes are different,' Loren said nonchalantly, her grudge against her teacher almost making her not want to answer. 'Their eyes usually dilate differently and are a different shape to ordinary dogs. They're bigger and closer together. They look like the headlamps of muggle cars sometimes because they're heads are so massive...' Loren finished. 'And they can actually frown of course. No dog can do that - it's why they look so intelligent.'

Jonathan narrowed his eyes threateningly at Girty as she saw it fit to prise the cub's jaws from his finger. Tree hugger, he felt like saying. 'You're really not giving it enough credit, Ms Hubbles,' he said testily as he flexed his gloved fingers. 'It'll take more than anything I've done to make a werewolf think its being mistreated. They're tougher than they look... I'm surprised you don't know that.' He remarked with a upturned nose, giving a dismissive glance at the cub before he began walking down the rows of desks slowly.
'Yes, absolutely right, all of you. Ten points to Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. Their basic shape and features are discreetly different to that of any dog breed, and as Ms Hubbles states they simply give off the air of having a sort of attitude - well put, by the way - about them. They're fiercely intelligent being half-human, although their animal nature usually takes over any self-control of logic. And a good point from Miss Hayes: they can frown. One of the only human traits a werewolf manages to maintain in fact.' He stopped now, turning sharply on his heels to inspect the class. They had all turned round in their seats to look at him with fascination, although Girty remained strong with her glare.
'I know you've all covered werewolves in your first year, and I thought I quick meeting with one in person would do you all good. An adult would have been more beneficial but the times not quite right, is it Girty?' He grinned pleasantly at her for a moment before returning to the front of the class, once again grabbing the cub by the scruff of its neck and lifting it back into the cage. It snarled furiously for a moment before backing into a corner with sad eyes, not at all appreciative of being on display.
'Before we move on, who can tell me the name of two very famous werewolves?'

The Ravenclaw sighed disappointedly as the cub was returned to its cage – rather roughly, she noted – and left to cower in the corner without veil over its cage. He’s so mean, she thought angrily. Student, animal – he just doesn’t care!
Loren’s hand shot in the air, her bottom almost hovering off her seat in her eagerness to be the first to answer this question. Before the professor could take notice of her she said, ‘Fenrir Greyback and Remus Lupin, sir!’ she beamed, retreating her hand. Several people rolled their eyes as her usual swotty self came through at last, but Loren chose to revel in it. ‘Greyback was famous for being a Death Eater very close to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. He was notorious for his work of creating werewolves at young ages – biting children and stealing them away. Remus Lupin was one of his victims, although he went on to be in an organisation opposed to Greyback’s cause. He was one of Harry the Great’s many mentors.’ Loren finished, smiling smugly.

Although Jonathan had been hoping to go into detail about Greyback and Lupin himself, it seemed Loren once again came through as her usual know-it-all self, deciding to show off the ridiculously detailed warehouse of knowledge she kept in that head of hers. As she spoke Jonathan chose to glare at her somewhat impatiently, prompting her to hurry up.
'Yes, yes - well done, Miss Hayes. Ten to Ravenclaw.' He said at last with a note of agitation in his voice. 'Greyback and Lupin were indeed two werewolves connected but for very different reasons. Greyback in fact came very close to turning Harry the Great into a werewolf, but was saved by Felix Felicis.' Jonathan thought of asking if anyone knew what Felix Felicis was, but decided they needed to move on. His guest was waiting, after all.
Grabbing Girty's desk, Jonathan dragged the Hufflepuff back into place before picking up one of the last hoops of garlic on his desk, slipping it around his neck. It was not that he did not trust Cepheus, he just - well... he just didn't trust him. 'If any of you feel uncomfortable in this next situation... tough. It'll be on the exam.' He snapped dismissively.
Jonathan disappeared into his office now, closing the door slightly as he did so...

As per usual Sophie listened intently to what was said throughout the classroom, it was always useful to pick up such good information and it was clearly crucial for the upcoming exams; anything could be asked of them, but she felt confident with the professor's abilities, not only did he teach them well with vast knowledge but he supplied real examples too. An added bonus was his apparent dislike for Loren, which she couldn't blame, she herself was nearly as exasperated with the raving ravenclaw as he was it seemed.
She couldn't help but feel quite wary as he disappeared into his office, delivering a warning, what on earth was he going to unveil next? Doubtless it would be very horrible but Sophie hoped she was brave enough to remain steadfast in her seat, it would be the height of embarrassment if she fled the classroom itself; surely it couldn't be too awful, could it?

Narcissa Black walked into the classroom. She knew her sister would be entering shortly. She had, after all, been right behind her. It was their first day of being at Riddikulus Hogwarts, after transfering from California Hogwarts. Narcissa wasn't nervous about starting in the middle of the term. She, after all was a Black. Narcissa walked into the classroom with an arrogent trot. She flipped her hair in her signature haughty way. She smiled to no one in particular and approached the teacher's desk. "Hi," she started very calmly. "My name is Narcissa Black. My sister and I transfered here from California Hogwarts. We were hoping to join your class." She glanced behind her. "My sister's name is Bellatrix Black. She was right behind me, so she should be here soon." She smiled at the teacher one last time and approached a seat next to a Gryffindor boy. She looked at him, but wasn't sure if she should smile or glare. He was a Gryffindor. She decided on an in between. She took her seat next to him and pulled out the chair next to her so her sister could sit next to her when she got here.

Bellatrix saw her sister sit next to the Gryffindor, and scoffed. What was her deal? She walked past and sunk gracefully into a the chair on the other side of the Slytherin girl. She got out some parchment for notes, took out a quill, and began twirling it between her fingers, looking at the professor.

Girty continue to look open mouthed at the professor as he told everyone in the room that Girty was a werewolf and then he continue to treat the poor club in the same ruff manor, but just to prove he hated everyone he dragged Girty too by the collar back to her seat. Narrowing her eyes as the Professor left the room she was oblivious to the new people entering. Her mind was all a blaze as she kept looking at the poor club, a plan started to formulate in her mind. If the professor takes long enough, most likely having his mid lesson whiskey she would be able to sneak up, take the cage and carry the club to safety. She did not care who he got the club off, it was Starsmore it would not have been legal.
Frowning, Girty tried two think over the noise of the two Slytherin’s, they seemed determined to make up for the silence and announce to everyone they had arrived in the castle. She was almost pleased to see that there was no garlic rings left, what ever the professor was trying to protect everyone from, and Girty was able to make an educated guess what it was, but they had no protection. ‘Sooner the creature bites their neck and be done with it.’
Girty was fuming, she had been woken up to be used as in example in class and to see the mistreatment of her kind, so to speak. In this mood she would have wished bad luck on everyone.

bella looked horrified at the hufflepuff. a warewolf?! surely not! how could they let one into hogwarts? it would be irresponsible and dangerous. bella raised her hand, and did not wait to be called on before she asked,
"surely, the hufflepuff isnt a real warewolf? not at hogwarts. how could there be?"

Girty spun around in her chair and started at the Slytherin. She could not believe she had just said a ‘real werewolf’, how many types do you see. Taking a deep breath Girty tired not to jump up with rage, she hated it when people disrespected her houses, but also the personal attack saying she was not safe was really getting to her. The silence that filled the room was becoming unbearable and Girty knew something needed to be said. As calm as she could Girty answered the Slytherin’s question.
“You must understand that it is possible for a Hufflepuff to be a werewolf and for one to be inside the castle. Actions are taken so when a full moon is out that I am safe, however sometimes certain events may happen. So if you are scared of being bitten yourself I advise you to stay away form me at a full moon.”
Girty gave her a real toothy grin before turning back in her chair to face the front. Bellatrix was really getting on her nerves, and an angry Girty with little sleep was a dangerous thing to behold.

bella fixed the half-breed with a look, and said, "full moon or no, i will be staying away from you. you never know, what if you get....hungry?"
bella gave a secretive grin to her sister, who burst into an uncontrollable giggle-fit.

Narcissa raised her hand very seriously. "Um, professor?" she started. "Can I move next to my sister? I don't feel safe here anymore. I take my safety very seriously. Me being who I am and all. I really need to move. The back would be good too. Then I don't have to watch my back and worry." She looked to her sister.

Narcissa laughed out loud. She could tell no one in this class liked her. But she also knew, they were jealous. Especially since she got to stay in her normal human skin. All the time. She looked to her sister. "So, who's our next?" she whispered.
