Adam tilted his head, an expression of confusion crossing his face. "I've never heard you speak Italian before." He nodded, "Hmm... little bit of everything, sounds nice. Well, I live in Rome. The great capital of Italy!"

"La grande città di Roma! Stupisce lí! verrò la visita, prometto." Lidia said, hoping he understood her. The great city of Rome! It's amazing there! I will come visit, I promise. She smiled up at him. They would be great together.

Adam smiled. He understood what she said but preffered to answer in English. "Thank you milady." He replied taking hold of her hand and giving it a gentle kiss. At least he had an Italian accent!

Lidia gave him a quick kiss. "So about the lake thing. You said you had a sorpresa for me!" She said, thinking about what it could be.

Adam smiled slyly. "Yes. And no I'm not telling. So no more questions!" He gave Lidia a quick kiss then stood up and stretched. "It's getting boring out here. Why don't we go back up to the castle?" he asked as he held out a hand to help her get up.

"I hate not knowing." She said, looking up at him. He was something, with his uttely handsome self. "Why don't we go to the lake?" Lidia asked, taking his hand. She could only put on a seductive smile and run her finger over his lips. "Please? I want to see my surprise."

Adam smiled. "We are. I just need to make a quick stop at the common room and put my broom away." He looked down at Lidia. "You don't mind the little detour, do you?" he asked.

"Just as long as I get to see my surprise I'm all good." She said, leaning on him gently. "When did you get the Firebolt anyway?"Lidia asked.

Adam chuckled lightly. "I've had since I was a first year. Remember the night we met? I took you on a broom ride?"

"Oh yeah! I do remember. I got so scared." She said with a laugh. Now she wouldn't be afraid of anything as long as he was there. It was amazing how one person could change you so much. Lidia was always a completely different person when she was around Adam. He always brought out the good in her.

Adam laughed and wrapped his arm around Lidia's waist, giving her a tight squeeze. Then he had an idea, why not fly the Firebolt back to the castle? He looked down at Lidia, "Hey, we could fly the Firebolt back to the castle. What do you say?" he asked, smiling down at her.

"Why not!! It beats walking." She said smiling up at him. Lidia waited for him to get on first and then she got on behind him. All she could do now was wrap her arms around him and take deep breaths. "You had better be glad that I trust you." She whispered, laying her head on his back.

Adam laughed as Lidia wrapped her arms around his waist. "Have I ever given you reason to not trust me, my love?" he asked, as the broom rose into the air. Soon, they were high in the air, and flying towards the ancient castle. The wind whipped his hair around his face, as he shouted back at Lidia, "So, when did you decide that you weren't afraid of brooms anymore?"
