Lidia had been out to think of what she was going to do when the summer started, but Adam kept coming to her mind. They hadn't spoken in a while and she couldn't help but wonder if he hated her. She wouldn't blame him if he did, she had left for a while without telling him about it. "I wonder what he's doing?" She asked herself.

Adam, Firebolt in hand had decided to go down to the pitch to do a bit of flying. As he walked along, he thought of Lidia. She had suddenly left without telling anyone, and he was positive that it was because of him. She probably hates me he thought bitterly as he kicked at the grass, head down. Then he saw a foot and a leg, and raised his head, to see, Lidia. "Lidia!" He cried running towards her, he dropped his brrom to the ground and gave her a hug. He pulled back and looked into her eyes. "Where have you been? And why didn't you tell me you were leaving?" he asked, slightly hurt.

Lidia looked up, shocked to see Adam.. hugging her. "Adam, I'm so sorry. Please don't hate me." She said, tears rolling down her face. She hadn't meant to leave and not tell him. Adam meant more to her than, well, anything in her life at the moment. "I had to go because of family problems. I tried looking for you and I couldn't find you." Lidia whispered, her hand on his cheek. "I didn't mean to hurt you." She said with a light kiss. I missed you so much.

Adam smiled. He understood all too well what Lidia was going through. He gave her a small kiss on the top of her head, then pulled back and looking into her eyes he asked, "Lidia, why didn't you come tell me? I would've helped you. You know that."

"I didn't know where you were and I only had like 5 minutes." Lidia said, laying her head on his chest. Sometimes when she would lay down at night he would be the only thing on her mind. Maybe she loved him. Oh no, what was she thinking? What was she going to tell him? That she loved him? "Yes, I know that... I missed you."

Adam couldn't stop the tear that leaked out of his eye. He quickly wiped it away before Lidia could notice it. "Oh god, Lidia I missed you so much." He whispered, hugging her tightly.

"I am so sorry. If there's anything I can do to.... make up for it." She said to his chest. How could she be feeling this guilty when she didn't even know what he was to her? She had to get this sorted out, but not right now.

Adam simply smiled, as he ran his fingers through Lidia's hair. He leaned back, and taking her face in his hands, looked into her eyes, and said "Lidia, you have nothing to apologize for. I understand that you had family problems. Hey, how bout we spend a day hanging out at the lake? What do you say? We can just sit there and talk, and I'll have a surprise for you."

Lidia sighed as his hands went through her hair. "I just feel horrid for leaving you like that, but I think I'm very lucky to have someone who is understanding." She said, taking his hand. The lake.. so many memories. Lidia though with a smile on her face. "A day at the lake sounds wonderful!" She said, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Adam smiled and kissed Lidia. It was a simple kiss and yet there was no mistaking the passion and love that came from it. He pulled back and stroked her cheek and smiled. "I'm gonna miss you when you leave this year." He whispered, tears coming to his eyes. It was almost too painful to talk about.

She smiled on his lips, if only this could last forever. Maybe, she should tell him. "Adam... I love you." She said, her cheeks flushing. Wow, did those words really just come out of her mouth? "I promise I'll see you this summer and I might be back next year." Lidia sighed, playing with the back of his hair.

Adam smiled, as he gently stroked her cheek. "Liddy, I have always loved you. But... how can you see me over the summer? I live in Italy. And, how can you come back next year? This is your last year here."

It was nice to hear that he loved her too. "Well, I live in Italy as well, love. And as for coming back next year.. I could always apprentice or start a shop in Hogsmeade. Anything as long as I get to see you." She said, kissing his hand.

Adam couldn't believe his ears. "Y-You live in Italy? Where!?" He asked excitedly his eyes sparkling with happiness. "What kind of shop do you think you might open?" he inquired curiously. He'd always thought about opening a shop himself. "Hey! Maybe when I'm old enough, I can come work for you, and we could be co-owners." he suggested.

"Of course!! Why else would I speak Italian? I live in Florence." She asked, smiling up at him. Lidia loved to see him smile, it just kind of brightened up her own day. "Probably a shop with a little bit of everything. Seeing as how I change my mind alot." She said, drawing circles on his palm. "Yeah.. I would like that."
