Jac laughed. "The only vaguely decent thing my grandmother gave me was a jersey with the initials HB on it," Jac giggled at the memory. She sipped her butterbeer and added quickly, "only problem was that no one in the family has those initials. It's now the family joke, if a present doesn't have a card on it someone always shout, 'where's that H Biggerstall?'" Jac laughed heartily and sipped her butterbeer again.

"Ah, presents." he said remember himself as a child. "You know what's funny, to most kids at a young age all they want are presents. Then when you turn about 11 it feels better when you buy stuff yourself. Or at least thats how I felt." He said laughing a little. He remembered at one point all he wanted was a dog, but he never got one.
(Sorry for the long delay.)

Jac sipped her butterbeer and set it down again. She nodded and laughed. "I remember how happy I was the day my family caught on that they really didn't know what to get me," she said lightly. Then she laughed and added, "but Grandmother still makes me jerseys!" She would wear them for they were often very beautiful but they were not made for a 17 almost 18 year old girl, only for a 9 almost 10 year old.

"Well my mother one time got me some weird item that looked as if it was for toddlers. She was so embarrased because I was 12, and I was with my friends when she gave it to me. We all just laughed and told her not to worry about it. From that day forward all she did was give me money for birthdays and Christmas." he said remembering that he put the toy in his mom's attic before he moved out. He wondered if it was still there.

Jac laughed. "My mother did that with my brother last year," she explained, "he was not impressed. But I love getting gifts. There's nothing like it. Especially ones that are picked out just for me. Trish always knows exactly what to get me and Lona usually just gives me something from where ever the team has been playing. Ed is a little closed minded so I always know what I'm getting from him. Mum and Dad are unpredictable so they're always fun. The rest of the family know to give me money. A pretty neat system I've got going, isn't it?" It was a rhetorical question and Jac smiled at the professor.

Alex laughed a little from what she said, he couldn't remember on how they segued from snow to presents. "So, what is you favorite Hogsmeade shop?" he asked for no reason, since it wasn't a segue.

Jac sipped her butterbeer and her eye was caught by something behind the professor’s head. Two warlocks, who had been arm wrestling, were now at each others throats like muggles. The one leapt across the table and they began to brawl on the floor. The other warlocks they had been with cheered them on and shouted for the one they wanted to win. A glass mug went flying and Jac pushed the professor’s chair a little to the left with her foot. The mug whizzed passed his head and, narrowly missing Jac’s too, smashed against the wall.
"This is definitely my favourite place to be," she said, smiling at the professor. "No where else can you watch two warlocks fighting like muggle over a sickle or two." She sipped her butterbeer again then added, "but Honeydukes is my other favourite. Did you know they have a sweet that will make your nose start bleeding forty minutes after you’ve finished eating it. It’s great for getting out of tests and exams." Jac quickly clapped a hand to her mouth. "I should not have said that," she thought aloud. "But, of course, I’ve never used it, I-I-I’ve just heard about it."
