Grace had felt like getting together with some friends and having a jolly good time and she could think of none better then her team. She had put a notice up in the common room that morning and when three o'clock came she made sure she was the first one there. She connected two tables near the window and orders a round of butterbeers for everyone. The drinks had not arrived yet, nor had the team but Grace didn't mind. She had become acustomed to being on her own.
That was not a particularly happy thought but reality was often not particularly pleasant. But still she wanted to change that by surrounding herself with people she cared for above all else. She was very impressed with their willingness to get involved and interaction with eachother, not too much bickerling always made things much easier. Plus, she thought, gazing out the window, there isn't another way I'd like to spend my afternoon!

Girty walked down from the castle at a quick pace. She jumped over puddles and ran down the street when no one was around. As she approached them main door for the Three Broomsticks Girty stopped and brushed herself down. Trying to seem like she had strolled down she took a deep breath and forced herself to breath normally.
Pushing open the door Girty looked around for the group of loud Hufflepuff’s, however there was only Grace. Feeling slightly upset that she would not be greeted with a loud cheer, Girty put aside her Big headedness and moved towards Grace with a huge grin.
“Good afternoon. What is all this about then? Your not going to fire us all are you?”
Girty sat down at the side of the table and stretched out. She then let out a loud yawn followed by a small giggle.

As Girty walked in through the door Grace sat up to attention, her heart beating life a galloping horse. Her face lit up as Girty joined her and, as soon as she could no longer contain herself, Grace threw her arms around Girty's neck. 'It's good to see you too,' she giggled, squeezing Girty just a little before releasing her. She smiled at Girty and excitedly said, 'I'm so glad you came! I was beginning to wonder.'
Alright Gracie, she told herself, calm yourself, breathe! That's the key! She enhaled a large breath then let it out again. Still smiling, Grace asked, 'do you think the others will be here soon? I'm frightfully anxious.' She squeeked like a mouse and clapped her hands together. She had been growing more and more excited for some or other reason which Grace couldn't quite figure out. Nevertheless, her excitement was ecstatic and electrifiying. She just wanted everyone to arrive so she could get on with it.

Boggleworth had awoken with a start, as if from an unpleasant dream, in fact he hadn't dreamt about anything in over a week. His rest had been uninterupted from the nightmares he had once suffered from. For that he was quite thankful, having gone down to breakfast at his usual early time and eaten leisurely he had for some reason felt strangely that he had something to do. Moments of contemplation hadn't helped until all of a sudden he had remembered. Slapping himself over the head for being so stupidly forgetful he had darted from the school bounding along at his usual striding pace. Smiling broadly at all those he passed his spirits increased still further as he approached Hogsmeade reaching a fever pitch on his arrival at the Three Broomsticks, Grace had seemed really animated when she had told them all of the meeting so he was hoping it was something good. Though quite what he couldn't fathom. Entering swiftly he swept in noticing his friends instantly already deep in conversation. Grinning he approached and said "hope I'm not intruding ladies?" Chuckling he gave them both a quick hug wanting to embaress them as always, giving each a quick kiss on the cheek, he enjoyed seeing their cheeks colour, though why they weren't used to his antics by now he didn't really know. "I hope this is important, bringing me out of my warm cosy bed," he joked with a grin knowing they knew perfectly well that he was an early riser.

Bailey had been in great anticipation of a meeting for the hufflepuff team. Wondering what it could possibly have been about, she had left the castle earlier that day. Seen as she had been too early and expected no one else to be present in the three broomstickls at that time, she had popped into Honeydukes to get a few chocolate frogs and fizzing whizbees and things of that nature for her fellow teammates.
However Bailey being the indecisive person that she was, arrived late to the meeting, due to the possibilties of which sweets had been best to purchase. She ran down the street and into the three broomsticks, taking a quick breather before she dived into the three broomsticks. Her eyes adjusted to the light atmosphere and she glanced around for her fellow hufflepuffs, noticing them at a far table she waved and skipped over. "Hello there! How are we all this fine afternoon?" She chirped happily, rubbing her hands cheekily she added "so, where are these butterbeers?!"

Grace was on the edge of her seat as she noticed Bog walk in. As he hugged her she squeezed him and kissed him on the cheek too. She smiled, over joyed that people were arriving so soon. 'You're bed?' Grace chuckled playfully, 'Bog, it's three o'clock, what on earth would you be doing in bed at three o'clock on a Saturday? No matter, I'm glad you did decide to grace us with your presence.'
She smiled at Girty and giggled. Just then, Bailey came in. 'Bailey!' she cried, could this day get any more exciting! 'Butterbeers?' Grace repeated quizzically, 'oh yes!' She jumped up and waved at the bar tender. He nodded and turned away. Grace sat down again and smiled brightly. 'Three minutes,' she informed Bailey.
She breathed in and out slowly, trying to calm herself down again. Smiling around she said slowly, trying to contain her excitement. 'Thanks for coming guys,' she said, 'do you think the others will be long?'

Girty had just managed to regain her composure when she heard the door opened again. Looking over her shoulder Girty waved madly at her cousin when she entered. At the mention of butter beers her mouth started to water.
“Well we have all the chasers and the keeper. The seeker….well Thom has left the castle and last time I saw Dax, he was in the Library trying to avoid a certain Ravenclaw.”
Girty gave a small chuckle and leaned back on her chair. She thought maybe they could send an owl to Thom, to tell him to met up with them some time. However they had no clue where he was or what he was doing. Shaking her head Girty looked back around the table, smiling at all of her friends.

Jeffery walked into the Three Broomsticks with a soft shortle and a wave ot his companion who continued down the road. He spotted the Hufflepuff team and walked over "Well played game!" he said. "Congradulations!" and he walked over to Madam Rosmerta, ordering a Fire Whisky and sitting down in a small booth by the windows.

Grace smiled at Girty, "hmm," she nodded, "you're right!" Grace rubbed her chin thoughtfully then burst into laughter she could hardly contain. She suddenly went quiet, with a slight squeak, when a professor spoke to them. "Oh no professor," she said, sitting up, beaming proudly, "that's not why we've here! We're her for a different celebration! You'll see!" She looked out the window once more and smiled, "You'll see ... just as soon as the others get here!"
(You might have noticed how impatient I am about this, it's a brilliant idea and I want to share it with the whole team (and more) but not less! So hurry up guys!!!!)

Dax ran down the main high street and barged open the door to the three broomsticks. Trying to regain his breath back Dax jogged over towards the table where all the Hufflepuff team sat. Skidding to a halt he dropt to his knees by the side of Grace.
“Captain please do not be angry that I am late. I ask for your forgiveness.” He looked up and Grace with pleading eyes before exchanging cheeky smiles with the rest of the team. He knew he was being over the top and attracting a lot of attention but Dax had been in a rather strange mood all day long.
((I think this is all the team you are going to get!))

Grace giggled. "Oh do get off the floor, Dax," she said, half heaving him onto a chair herself, "and don't worry about being late." She smiled at him, a nasty twinkle in her eye, "I'll just be force to take house points for it!" When Grace saw the look on Dax's face she giggled while she said, "I'm just joking! Relax! Anyway, you're here now and that's all that matters!"
Looking around, Grace made sure that the team was there. Happy, Grace smiled at everyone and, standing up, took a deep breath. "Well," she began, her excitment barely comtained, "I got an owl yesterday from Department of Magical Games and Sports offering me the Keeping position for ..." she paused for dramatic effect "... Chudley Cannnons!" Grace began to jumped up and down with excitement.

Girty waited on the edge of her seat as when Grace announced what team Girty nearly fell off her chair. Gripping onto the edge of the table tightly Girty became very conscious that her mouth was hanging open. She knew she needed to say something but she did not know what would be best. She was overjoyed for Grace, as she was her best friend and this was amazing news but it would mean she would leave. Swallowing hard Girty decided it best to end the silence.
“I do not think Orange is your colour. However I think the red and white of England’s is”
Girty managed a week smile, but it was all she could muster, the prospect of not having Grace around next year started to weigh heavy on her mind.

Grace, who was still jumping up and down, laughed uncontrollably. She lost her balance and stumbled into her chair. She looked at Girty, smile wide, and sighed. "You're right!" she giggled, "but the orange brings out the colour of my eyes." Grace giggled a little before noticing the expression on Girty's face.
Grace put a hand supportively on Girty's arm and smiled warmly. "Don't worry, my dearest friend, we can still write and I'll see you at matches and I'll visit and everything!" Grace was no longer as excited about the news; it meant leaving her home at school, her family in her friends. What would she do without them? Grace looked around at the party. "But never mind that, first round is on me!" As she finished talking their Butterbeers arrived.

Grace was right. It was not like they were not going to see each other anymore, they would still talk. And Girty would not be all by herself as she still did have Bailey. After coming to this conclusion Girty actually managed to laugh a little. She was being so selfish and forgetting all about the achievement and how big this was for Grace.
Exchanging looks with the others around the table Girty already began to feel guilty for acting in such a away to her friend. Shooting out of her seat, Girty ran to the side of Grace and nudged her in the side with her elbow.
“Grace Marks, Hufflepuff’s very own celebrate!!”
Giggling Girty picked up the closest Butterbeer in the air in sign of a toast.

Grace was lost in her own world. She had not thought about how this would effect everyone else. She was about to start beating herself up when she was nudged with an elbow. Looking up, Grace saw Girty standing next to her.
Girty's words lightened Grace's face, she smiled and permitted herself a little giggle. At Girty's sign for a toast, Grace could not refuse her. She picked up a glass and held it up too, smiling at her dear friend.
