Things had been clouding Kim's judgement and visions. What she called illusions of something she would never admit. She wasnt one much for doing a lot of talking anymore.
Not much for doing anything anymore.
Kim had turned into the opposite of what she once was, and had quite a few dissaproving remarks thrown at her. She was at one point, the most unlikely slytherin to ever grace the common room. Now she was right within them.
But she didnt even like her house mates.
She snapped at them and didnt care for them like she should. She would happily watch a gryffindor humilliate a fellow slytherin, and she wouldnt ever bat an eyelid. Kim's only concern was herself. She cared nothing for anyone else. Why should she?
Everything she once knew or loved. Had gone.
So now she stood in the streets of hogsmeade, retraceing the steps she had once taken. Smirking.
It was cold. Though she didnt care. She didnt care. Did she? She wasnt even sure anymore.

Jerred strode down the main street of Hogsmeade, his eyes on the road and not looking up in case he bumped into anyone. He kept up a fightful pace, unsure of what he was doing or where he going. He didn't really want to know anyone or act like the juvenile deliquent he would normally desire to be, his mind now firmly set on doing the one thing he couldn't ever bring himself to do.
He turned the corner, heard a voice and stopped, looking up to see a woman walking by him with her wand held out, pointing it directly at him. It's tip was lit then slowly died, his mind racing as to what it was. He looked away from her, and took a step before his eyes set upon a figure he recognised. He walked over to her, not really hiding himself and reached forward, poking her in the shoulder, the look on Kims face strange enough to cause him some concern for her.

A poke in her shoulder caused her to turn around to see that familiar face that seemed to pop up at the most unlikely of times. The one of a fellow Slytherin. Jerred. Smirking still, her eyes cold. She turned to him, and noticed his face was full of concern.
She folded her arms, she wasnt going to say the first word. He had tried to bring her back to her old self, only to dissapear for weeks and let her revert back into the colder Kim. The one she knew he didnt like. It didnt matter to Kim anymore. She was leaving school this year, and she knew she probably wouldnt see him again anyway.

'Still being cold and all grizzly, I see.' Jerred said, trying to form words in his mouth after a first awkward moment. He hesitated again and smiled. 'This Kim I could learn to like just as much as the old, sweeter Kim.'
Jerred looked away nervously for a second before glancing back up briefly. 'Seriously now, this Kim is pretty damn hot.' He said, continuing with a smug smile on his face. He narrowed his eyes and screwed up his nose a little. 'Pretty, cold and hot, a trifecta of some damn good Slytherin.'
His mind was running a blank on what to say, so he reverted to his cheesy comments and antagonistic ways, hopefully trying to garner a smile from her, at least a look in the eye that she was at least happy to see him.

Kim averted her eyes from Jerred. "Yeah, for now i am" she said in a bite cold tone. She hadnt seen much of anyone since she had returned and could honestly say, she liked it that way. She went to turn and walk away but his voice once again, stalled her. "Well this Kim is not going anywhere fast, exept maybe into trouble"
"Are you mocking me?" Kim snapped, going so she was stood not too far from Jerred. She stood infront of him, her blue eyes narrowed. "being a Slytherin doesnt even matter to me anymore. I couldnt care less if the Gryffindors wiped the floor with half the Slytherin population, i'd stand back and watch, i would probably even laugh"
After a couple of minutes staring at him, Kim still couldnt fathom if he was mocking her. Why is he so hard to figure out? she thought to herself. "Im going up there" she spoke, pointing away from Hogsmeade and over some waste land that led to a forest away from both the school, and the town. "I wont complain if you follow me" she smiled, giving him a light kiss on the cheek before walking away.

'Why would I mock someone?' Jerred said, smiling antagonistically. He wore the smile proudly, swelling in bravery for choosing his words, a thing he rarely did. It was then that he noticed that he noticed the smile on her face and he smiled, eyes dashing with success. She leant in and kissed him on the cheek, before she left him.
He felt his cheeks warm, a strange smile spreading across his face. 'She's still there...' He said quietly to himself, before walking off after her.

"How would i know why you would mock somebody?" Kim asked, "I dont know how your mind works do i?" Her features softened only slightly. She was tolerable of Jerred more than she was of most other people. She could no longer stand to be around Gryffindors. She had been shaped into the Slytherin she was supposed to be.
Walking up the street to the end of the lane, the wind picking up quite a bit of speed now. Last time she was here, her adventure was cut short due to that highly annoying Apronia who seemed to have a love for spoiling Kims fun. She had now come back to finally explore this place, Apronia had gone. Who would stop her?
Climbing over the gate, which she vaguley remember Malfoy having trouble with, and cutting himself, she reached the top and jumped down. Turning to see Jerred following her. "Hurry up"

Jerred had followed Kim through the town and up towards a place where he hadn't been before, probably the only place where he hadn't been. His eyes narrowed slightly before seeing the place, then he saw Kim jumping the gate.
'Yeah, I'm hurrying.' Jerred muttered, leaping the gate effortlessly and landing on his feet right next to Kim. 'You seem to forget I have no trouble making trouble, and escaping by jumping over things, easily done.' He brushed some dirt off his shoulder and walked past her, smiling as he passed her. He had walked several steps before turning his head and wearing a smug smile on his face.
'Hurry up.' He said in a mocking tone.

Kim smiled as she saw him trudging along behind her, too bad Malfoy wasnt around anymore to show him this either. Since she knew, above anyone else, he would be the one to appreciate this even more. She had left shortly after finding something near here, and now she re turned with the item in question, and the knowledge to what it revealed.
True, she had left to figure herself out, but that was obvious now. All she knew about what the thing inside her pocket held, was that it held something very ancient. She couldnt get anymore out about the man who had made the item in her pocket.
She got torn out of her thoughts when Jerred said something to her, she smiled when he seemed not a bit curious to where they were going. Though he was heading in the wrong direction, "Where we're going, is over in that direction" she said, pointing to an area immensed with thick trees, that looked almost black.

'Over... there?' Jerred said, having to turn around to see a darkness enshrouding a thicket of ghastly looking trees. Jerreds eyes widened a little when he stared at them, transfixed in a way where his mind emptied of any thoughts. For a few brief moments he didn't think, before snapping back to attention and turning back to Kim and raise his eyebrow in an inquisitive way.
'There? You've never been? There's nothing in there.' He said, lying through his teeth, but he smiled in the smug way he always did, the mischievousness in his voice the same he had always had. 'Are you sure you want to go there? Darkness, ghoulies and a strange wind that smells oddly of the strange musk of mold... Do you really want the smell of mold in that... eeky, yet pretty damn cool looking trenchcoat thingy you're wearing?'

"Whats the matter? Scared?" Kim snarled with a smirk. She turned to the trees and began to walk nearer to the entrance. This was the place she needed to be, the place to get what it was she needed. What it was she wanted. She completley ignored Jerred's inquisitive look for it was not her most pressing matter.
"There's more than you know in there" Kim said smiling, she wasnt about to reveal the surprise just yet. She noted the smile and the sound of his voice, but pushed them to the back of her mind, she knew getting in their would be easy, but getting out. That would prove to be the difficult part. "Jerred!" She snapped, "Im sure im going in there. Whether you come or not is your decision. Theres more than darkness, ghouls and smelly winds in there believe me. And a smelly trenchcoat will be a nothing price to pay for what it is i am goin in there for"
At this she left him and entered the thicket of the trees. The blackness engulfing her like she knew it would. Though the darkness being nothing for her eyes could see most clearly.

'Bloody woman... Witch but with a b on the beginning.' Jerred said, sighing to himself as he knew Kim would most likely end up getting into trouble and needing someone to help her out, though he knew she was too damned stupid to accept help from anyone. He saw her walk off and with a determined look he followed, his eyes never losing where she had gone, though the darkness was indeed tempting to turn and run.
He walked into the shadows and felt a biting cold wind, his eyes adjusting quickly though the gloom was ever present. He ventured off..

Kim enjoyed being surrounded by complete darkness, she didnt know why but it comforted her. Like an old friend coming by just to say hello, or a new puppy bounding through the streets yapping away giving her cause to laugh. Though, old friends and puppy dogs were two of the things that lay behind her. She had only eyes now, for the things that lay ahead.
She turned and could easily see Jerred, who actually, seemed a bit lost. Kim knew this forest was lest friendly than anyother one in these parts, she knew if he ventured off, he'd most likely end up dead and she didnt fancy having to explain her way out of that one.
She caught upto him and grabbed his hand, "You really really dont want to be going that way" she said, pulling him off into another direction, going in deeper into the darkness.
