Boggleworth had scarely been seen for quite some time, he'd been keeping low to the ground, busily continuing with his studies to pull up his grades; namely to prove himself to Grace his beloved girlfriend. He'd got it into his head that his overly relaxed and take life as it comes attitude meant that she believed there was little future between them. Her recent signing to the Chudley Cannons had brought this about, deep down he knew she still loved him just as much and was really thinking of their long-term future happiness together, but for some unknown reason he did feel it necessary to prove himself over to her. But lessons weren't his speciality by any means, most he struggled with as he had more of a hands on approach, though many people had a distant dream of becoming an auror he did secretly nurture the idea wanting to bring it to fruition one day. The only problem was that he was completely against the Ministry's ideals and had had various run-ins with them in the past; ones that had obviously tarnished his record; it was by no means spotless. Though countless Slytherins might claim dastardly deeds he had in fact done them; only a memory charm made him the more genteel man he was today.
So he was at a loose end, struggling with his subjects to a profession he knew not with. Doubtless he had good qualities but would anyone see them as sufficiently worthwhile towards a decent job? This dilemna he had pondered upon for some time, so now he wanted to escape it by a short trip to Hogsmeade, and so it was he strolled the streets quite aimlessly but far more at peace with the world in general but still pondering upon a future career.

Quinn stood in the shadows of a building, watching, waiting. When he approached where she was, Quinn pulled out a small note book and flipped hurriedly through the pages. When she finally reached the right page, she held the pages to it's back and held it up, looking from his face to her not book.
He passed her, he had not seen her, she was certain of that. And now, she thought, to work. She left her leaning post and followed behind him, keeping an observant eye on him. She put the note book back in her pocket and followed. Coming up behind him, Quinn whispered wickedly into his ear for she was that close now, "we never did have our little meeting."

"Woah," cried Boggleworth clearly very shocked that anybody could creep up on him so, he ahd so very nearly swiped the person behind him, his natural instinct to fight back kicking in. He span round sharply on his heel cursing " Cor blimey, you nearly gave me a heart attack."
Very slowly recognition crept across his face, his eyebrows raising and his motuh working silently trying in vain to remember her name. Not a damned Ministry official he thought grimly feeling a strange urge to spit at her feet. and not this one. the last time he'd run into her had not been pleasant, then he'd had support; now he felt quite unarmed and vulnerable; but he would try hard not to display his weakness.
"No we didn't," he retorted "isn't it a little late in the day to come and call upon me now?" He asked hoping she would have simply dropped the matter.
"Does the Ministry often stalk unknowing victims?" He asked before realising that he simply gave her ammunition with that statement. Boggleworth smiled wanely waiting for the veritable avalanche of abuse to be hurled his way.

His surprise was just as she had imagined it, livered and full of shock. Quinn smirked at him, satisfied. Regaining his composure, Quinn studied him, honestly, I just don't see it. He was tall and lanky and completely unawares, how could he be ...?
"If it's a bit late in the day, Mr Boggleworth, then you are out of the castle after curfew and it would then be the perfect time to have that ... meeting." She crossed her arms and jutted out her strong jaw. Pitiful, she thought. Unknowing is just the way I like them, but some buffoons prefer the fight.
Rolling her eyes, she glared at the boy in front of her. "Anyone the Ministry chooses to stalk should know they are being stalk because they are apposing our ... work." She spoke as though it was a matter of fact, and to her it was. "But all such things aside," she said, too nicely for her own liking, "we need to discuss your future."

Boggleworth could immediately tell that Quinn loved his discomfort; thankfully he was getting it under control quickly; always the opportunist he would make the most of this difficult situation, by gaining some information of his own. Yet he had to be seen as uncaring of Ministry matters, they had already taken an avid interest in his goings on, he didn't need anything further.
Boggleworth decided to simply ignore most of Quinn's comments as he wouldn't win in a prolonged protracted fight against her strong willpower.
"My future eh? Well isn't that ironic? I was just thinking about it myself, its as if you've read my mind." He chuckled sarcastically. "You see I've many thoughts, contingency plans a main aim in life; to make others happy, so of course I'll be more than willing to answer your questions as your work is undoubtedly your life; being a reveered Hit Witch as you are," he bowed humbly dropping the sarcastic act, he was actually being quite serious.
"So what else would you like to know about my future?"

Quinn smirked as he mentioned reading minds. Possibly not the brightest, she said, but he could be taught. I certainly won't be the one to do it, thankfully. She dug a little deeper, without prodding or letting him know she was and found a soft spot.
She gritted her teeth as she contorted a grin. She patted the boy on the back and lead him into a slow walk up the main street. "You're a big, strong lad?" she said, "no, that wasn't a question," she added, as she saw him about to say something. "yet you do not know what you want to do. Have you not thought of your responsibilities? You have already planned your future with Miss Marks and how do you imagine you will sustain this family?" More then just a rise, she was hoping to get out of him, she wanted to push him.

Boggleworth knew he was in dire straits with this dastardly woman, he was completely unsure of how to deal with her; there seemed not an ounce of kindness within her snakeskin flesh. He didn't dispise her utterly, but he came perilously close. She had a way with words that even he couldn't match and seemed to be reading his expressions like an open book; perhaps she was even reading his mind; he really wouldn't put it past her. Yet if she delved too greedily and too deeply she would be in for a surprise, he had a defense unmatchable, even by her, yet he didn't dare call for his help, not yet leastways, she herself would spell her own doom if she prodded too far.
"Me strong in mind and body perhaps. I've a few inklings of what I'd like as a career," he conceeded not wishing her to find out the truth. "I'll sustain a family, not through willpower alone no, but I've plans, but your asking seems to suggest you've already a plan for me; would you like to enlighten me with your wisdom?" He asked quite seriously, he knew she was clever and whatever she had in store for him; ultimately could be beneficial.

Quinn grimaced at his answer, good tactic, she thought, avoid and move on. She did not want to divulge anything just yet, she had not sussed him out properly. She would enjoy this.
"Plans?" she enquired, completely side-stepping his question, "what plans would that be?" She did not want to find them out by her methods but for him to tell her. It would open a sort of trust between them, trust was vital to her kinds' survival. "And what sort of profession would you follow? Miss Marks is going to go play for the ... Chudley Cannons, is she not? So will she be wearing the pants?"

Perhaps trying a new tactic would work? Boggleworth wanted to see just how on edge and paranoid she would be. Plunging his hands into his pockets he withdrew a piece of parchment, chuckling as she visibly flinched; he knew that if he had indeed drawn a wand then he wouldn't be stood here. Smashed into the nearest wall, tossed to the ground or bound? He wondered quite which she would choose, or perhaps she would even be original, somehow he doubted it.
"Don't worry, tis only parchment; not a wand to jinx you with," He soothed though he sorely wished to use a patronising manner, he knew it was incredibly dangerous to annoy her, so merely spoke calmly and seriously. He was completely in her hands, and they both knew it, she was playing all the cards and pulling all the strings, yet perhaps he did have one or two tricks up his sleeve.
"I've written down a number of careers you see, I've been talking with Professor Hubbles, getting some career advice from him, he suggests I go journeying for a while like he did, but I need to stay with Grace you see, so that's not so much of an option really. Course I don't want a little dead-end job, I'm not bad on a broom myself really, though nowhere near professional standard like my beloved Grace. So perhaps a job here at hogwarts, unless you've an idea?" He prompted knowing she had some dastardly idea, was she simply playing with him? Or did she really have some useful advice to offer? He really couldn't figure it out.

Quinn did not flinch as she knew the boy had expected her to, she knew just as he did that it was a piece of parchment, yet she decided to play along to his little game. She gave a slight sigh as she saw the parchment, yet her strong stance would have told anyone that she wasn't worried.
A list, ay? she peered at it, trying to see the scribbles on it. She made it obvious too, enjoying giving him the phony upper hand. She watched him as he made suggestions and a very small, brief smile danced on her lips when Prof Hubbles was mentioned. It quickly faded when the boy called the Marks girl 'his beloved'. It made her sick. She grimaced at the thought.
"Travelling is good," she said, once again evading the questions, "gives perspective and is a jolly good time. But as for the professional quidditch player, you're no where up to the standard. Your Grace has been training with O'Donnell, has she not? A professional herself at one stage. But you should not worry about Grace, she can take care of herself, you, on the other hand, need to do what is right for you. She will no doubt stick by you whatever you decide."
She had heard thing about the two Puffs from various sources and she knew that most of what she said was true however, it was important for Boggleworth to believe it. Then she could move on what she had approached this boy for in the first place.

Completely unnerved by Locksley, Boggleworth continued to keep his features straight and firm, keeping the glower he wished to give her. Carefully he analysed the situation, the streets were no where near crowded, nobody present would rush to his aid if she decided to take him in for further questioning. He had only the one option; to continue talking, thankfully it was something he was very good at.
Raising his eyebrows incredulously as Locksley used the word jolly, he knew now for a fact that wasn't be entirely truthful with him. She simply sought to gain his trust, though he knew it, it still seemingly worked upon him, he felt himself, not warming to her as he knew of her vile nature, but rathermore trusting her judgement.
"Yeah I think travelling will do me the world of good," though I've seen more of the world than you think actually. He thought with an inward grimace, he'd rather not have encountered what he had endured.
"I realise I'm not up to standard," then he so nearly committed a fatal error by mentioning his quality of leading others; that would only lead to more prying questions, ones he wished to not answer. "but Grace definitely is, she's awesome, you should see her moves, a quaffle rarely passes her," He stated enthusiastically willing her to believe him more of a young, naive, little wizard who delighted in such trivalities as she would no doubt view them, than the actual hardened individual that he was. It suited him far more for her to believe him ignorant and foolish.
"I never really worry about Grace," except her nightmares he thought knowing they truly cut her deeply. "Grace and I shall stick together no matter what, don't you know how strong love is?" He asked quite foolishly, knowing she neither cared nor actually thought of love as a weapon. Did she not know the fabled story of Harry Potter? Saved by love.
"So yeah my plans are being sorted, with the help of my teachers, thanks for the interest though, in fact Professor Hubbles will be expecting me shortly." He needed a way out, the longer he stayed here, the more she would learn and eventually, she'd be able to simply arrest him without a single passerby to notice. He was feeling paranoid, but with good reason, what if she did know?

Quinn continued to be the fly on the wall of the boy's mind. It was a intriguing place to be in and it revealed it's secrets so freely. Ah, a soft spot to the blonde, I see, she crossed her arms as she heard contradicting stories from the boy's mouth and the boy's head. She enjoy giving the boy reason to have to think about what he said.
Grace, she thought, has terrible nightmares ... hmm ... interesting. But when 'love' was mentioned, Quinn gritted her teeth. You have no idea! She kept her cool though, never revealing any hurt and resentment she bore.
And there it was again. "Prof Hubbles," she repeated, the perfect distraction. "I think it would be a good idea to continue this with him seeing that he has been such a big influence with your future career decision." She looked around, almost expecting to see Hubbles walking towards them as she did. "So where is your professor?" she asked, turning back to the boy. She was hoping that they would be meeting in The Three Broomsticks, a drink to steady her nervous would go down very well.

She was prying into his mind, strangely enough he didn't care though, he wore his emotions pretty much upon his sleeves anyway; whether he was happy or sad he always made it quite plain to those around him. He only hoped she'd push further in, there was a blackness clouding over his distant memory, a place she could never enter, as a very strong memory charm had altered it, but also, there was a protector there too, who would awaken if disturbed further.
Why don't you delve deeper? He thought a small grin upon his features, at long last he had an inkling of an advantage, something she couldn't possibly understand. go on I dare you to, you won't penetrate it, my past is my own and you couldn't possibly comprehend it. he thought grimly, searching closely for any emotion she showed, he hoped and prayed she'd show some shock, anything to show he'd gotten through. One shouldn't wander in other people's minds...you never know what you might find.
Smirking now Boggleworth responded defiantly now, "no we shan't disturb Professor Hubbles, he's busy helping others with Charms, I was going to join them, but you'd just show us all up really, and that wouldn't be fun at all."
Deep down a presence within Boggleworth was stirring, his old self as it were, and he was somewhat annoyed; awoken from his slumber after so long in the peace and tranquility. oh hello, occlumency is it? Well I never thought somebody would do me the honour of joining me in this hell hole Henry laughed maniacally the echo resounding throughout their head, for they had sealed a pact, that neither would disturb the other except in times of great need. Henry had tried once to take what he believed as his body back, but now he had grown accustomed to it, at night he could leave and venture out in a ghostly form, whilst during the day he could sleep and recuperate, and watch what Boggleworth did through his own eyes. Henry decided to give Boggleworth some good advice now, he'd grown to love his different self, they were more as one now, not divided fighting and bickering, but together a much more formidable force. She's nervous and wants a drink, say that and it'll unnerve her no end.
Smirking Boggleworth heeded the advice of his former self and asked pleasantly "would you like a drink Miss Locksley? To steady the nerves? You seem rather on edge all of a sudden."

Quinn noticed a change in the boy. It was dramatic, incongruous and slightly worrying. She ceased her Legilimency immediately and opted that she should get away from the boy as soon as she possibly could. She had obviously affected him more then she had intended and he would need a few days to recover.
"No Professor Hubbles then?" she said playfully pouting. She was acting very girlishly, a new thing for her. She swung her arms at her sides and smiled an almost normal grin. "Pity!" she said, looking around for any sign that the boy had signalled for Dan to stay away but there was no one else on the street.
She sighed heavily and turned back to the boy. "That won't be necessary," she replied to his offer for a drink. She frowned inwardly, how does he know I need a drink? But she smiled at the boy, immediately throwing up her defences with Occlumency. "It's getting late and you should get back to the castle." She nearly mentioned her own engagement but refrained from sharing that precious detail.
She sighed quickly, satisfied with all she had discovered from and of the boy. She clapped him on the back and said heartily, “it was a pleasure, Mr Boggleworth. Until we meet again.” And with that she quickly turned and scampered towards The Three Broomsticks. She had set up residence there and had found it to be most diverting from her own home. She hurried along the deserted streets and quickly disappeared in the inn.
