As Diana walked around Hogsmeade her eyes met the shops. It was all very pretty but she really didn't meet anything that she could say she liked. As she made her way through the people her brown straightened hair flipped. It always tended to do that when she walked.
When Diana found a bench, she decided that she would much rather watch people for the time being. As she sat down Diana's dark blue tank top rose a bit showing an inch of her stomach. Her eyes skimming everyone she found it quaint. The weather was great and she really wondered what days like this were meant to express.

Shane exited Honeyduke's. In his hand, he held a box of Bertie Bott's, his favorite candy. He tore open the box and popped a jelly bean into his mouth. He made a face and instantly spit it out. Ew. Vomit. Shane shoved another jelly bean into his mouth to get rid of the awful taste and was lucky when it was marshmellow. The hood of his sweatshirt was pulled over his dark hair, making him blend into the crowded streets. He had come to Hogsmeade to be alone. Not to make conversation with people he disliked or was forced to talk to. Shane let out a bored sigh. There had to be something to do around here.
He spotted a familiar face, seated on a bench nearby. Shane smirked slightly. He altered directions and headed towards her. He knew Diana fairly well. They were in the same year and house afterall and had been for at least 6 years. Shane dropped on the bench next to her, crossing his arms over his chest and stretching his legs out. It would be unfortunate for anyone to trip over him. Well not really. Shane's sly smirk grew. " Having fun?" He asked Diana, popping another jelly bean into his mouth. He offered the box to her.

Diana looked up when she felt someone plop on the bench. Her face grew a wide smile as she noticed who it was. "Shane," she said in a flirty way but she wrapped her arms around him pleasantly to give him a hug. "Are you here to take me out of my misery," she said half-laughing. She did hope he would stay, she did enjoy his company.
As he offered her a jelly bean, Diana smiled and accepted one. When she popped it into her mouth her face went sour and her nose wrinkled up a bit. "Lime," she said shaking her head lightly. "Better than vomit right?" she said playfully. She had never gotten a Vomit flavored one and hoped that she would never.

Shane chuckled as Diana wrapped her arms around him. He grinned and hugged her back. " Yeah, I missed you too." He teased, giving her one of his mischevious smirks. He pretended to put on a thoughtful look. " Weeelll...I guess that depends. How can I help you out of your misery?" He questioned, perking a single dark eyebrow. Shane always enjoyed flirting with Diana. She was witty and fun. Not too mention extremely pretty. He liked her company. And that was truly saying something for someone like Shane.
Shane gave her a slightly surprised look. " You don't like the lime ones?" He questioned. " I do." He then dilberately found a lime one and popped it into his mouth, chewing slowly. He made a face when she mentioned vomit. " Don't get me started. I just experienced one of those not even 10 minutes ago."

Diana smirked lightly as he said too. "Miss? Huh you missed me my dear," she said with her usual big blue eyes gazing at him. "But it's OK because I missed you too," she said winking at him. Ha she always knew how to counter his arrogance with her very own. She truly did love flirting with Shane, it brought back memories in previous classes. They would always get told to 'stop flirting' but what teachers didn't know what that was generally what Shane made her do. He brought out the flirt in her, he was an attractive and charming boy after-all, she giggled to herself.
When he asked her about the lime ones Diana shook her head lightly. "Ohhh no, their way too intense for my taste buds," she said biting her lip and keeping a light laugh in. However, when he spoke of experiencing a vomit flavored candy Diana giggled. "Oh poor dear," she said playfully. Diana was generally a smart-ass and that was what her charm usually consisted of. She knew how to say things and word things so they were both friendly and yet temptingly cruel at the same time.

Shane smirked at Diana. " I knew you did. How could you not miss me?" He questioned, sounding slightly arrogant. Diana always knew how to counter his arrogance. Yet he would always do it right back. It was like a constant, playful battle between the two of them. Which one could be more arrogant. It was actually no surprise they were as good of friends as they were. They were both so alike in more than one way. Including the huge egos and the arrogance. They were quite a pair and when together, many people knew to avoid them altogether. They could cause quite a lot of trouble for some people. Not to mention they were basically the biggest flirts around one another. They were both good looking, though, so why not?
Shane laughed. " Too intense?" He questioned with a grin, raising his eyebrows slightly. " Well that's too bad. I think they're pretty good." He said, shrugging his shoulders. He popped another bean into his mouth and made a face. " Grass." He commented, but forced himself to swallow. Shane rolled his eyes playfully. " Yes, I know. Poor me." He said, heaving a dramatic sigh before grinning at Diana.

Diana's eyes met his playfully. She tilted her head and put a finger up next to her lip, it was a thoughtful pose. "Oh I guess you can say I made it obvious," she said still with the same pose. "However, I'm sure you rather enjoy the fact that I missed ya," she winked at him playfully. It was trouble to be around them both at the same time. If there were any bigger flirts then them when they got around each other, then there would most definitely be a problem. Diana laughed lightly, she always had fun with Shane and couldn't see herself having more fun with a better person.
Diana giggled and come-backed his eyebrow with one of her own. "Yes much too intense.. it's much too acidic," she said laughing lightly. When he said that he thought them pretty good, Diana smiled, "Of course you would dear Shane... you always have liked things intense." Diana bit her lip again to stop from laughing. It was great how they could talk like this and have no worries about it.
When he popped another one in his mouth she smiled. "Grass..." she said lightly. "Oh well you never get bored with them do you," she spoke truthfully. Bertie Botts Beans were incredibly entertaining, especially when people got weird tasting ones. Diana giggled at his dramatic, poor me. "Oh yes my dear is there anything that I can do to help with the pain of having eaten one," she said half-laughing and half-rolling her eyes, but incredibly playful.

Shane nodded, his eyes twinkling mischeviously. " Yup. You're right. Let's just say you missed me and leave it at that." He said, giving her a wink back. Shane wrapped one arm around Diana's shoulder, gently pulling her closer to him. He couldn't help himself. This was Diana afterall. Of course, it was in Shane's nature to be a flirt, yet secretly, he had always cared for Diana much more than any of the other girls he knew at Hogwarts. Afterall, they both knew eachother extremely well.
Shane laughed. " Mmhmm. I do like intense things." He admitted with a playful grin. " I suppose that's why I like you so much. " He added, his grin growing broader. Shane didn't even think twice about the things he said to Diana. They were so comfortable with one another, it usually did not even matter.
" Nope. Never." Shane smiled. He poured a few directly from the box and into his mouth. He had no idea what flavors he had gotten but swallowed all the same. Shane pretended to put on a thoughtful look. " I'm not sure. But I'll let you know if I do think of something." He said with another smile. He let out a sigh. " So...anything exciting we can do today?" He questioned, looking at Diana.

Diana felt his arm around her and her stomach gave a leap. She never thought that he might actually like her, but she liked it. Looking at him she cuddled up to him placing her head on his shoulder. "You're quite comfortable yourself Mizter Ross," she said playfully.
She giggled lightly as he spoke about liking her. "Oh well I must say that I tend to fancy certain intense things as well," she said winking at him playfully. Then looking up at him, "And that may just involve you." Her face grew into a playful one as they spoke longer.
Her eyes grew a bit big as he filled his mouth with different flavors. "Intense," she said half-laughing and half expecting him to come off with a dissatisfied appearance. However, he didn't he took it like a man. When he asked her what they could do today she shrugged. "Truthfully, I was bored until you showed up my dear," she said with a light smile. Sometimes she had to let down her arrogance to show a brighter side, but that was only to certain people.

Shane smiled a genuine and rare smile as Diana cuddled closer to him, resting her head on his shoulder. Only certain people had the ability to get a true smile from him. Shane looked down at her. " Why thank you. I try my hardest." He said, his smile growing slightly. He averted his eyes towards the Hogsmeade streets watching the passerybys with mild interest.
Shane liked Diana's laugh. It was cute. Though he wouldn't be caught dead saying the word 'cute' in public. He kept that thought to himself. Shane put on a playful smirk. " Oh really? And what kind of intense things do you intend to involve me in?" He asked in a curious tone, raising his dark eyebrows slightly.
Shane nodded, making a slight face at the bad after taste." Very intense." He agreed with her, breaking out into a smile. He tossed the empty box of candy into the trash can next to the bench before pulling a piece of gum from his pocket. He offered one to Diana before putting a piece into his own mouth. Shane smiled. " Well, I'm glad I could help then." He said. He was quite comfortable and content sitting here with Diana, at least for the moment. They had all day to find other, exciting things to do later.

Diana looked and noticed his rare smile. It was adorable, and she wasn't sure if he understood how cute he looked when he did that. She loved his rare smiles, they alone were almost enough to make her day go well. As she put her head down a bit and watched the people pass by a great number of thoughts crossed her mind.
"Oh you know," she said playfully. The thinking of something off her head she smiled, "Such as eating more than one Berty Bott Bean, sneaking off when we shouldn't be, and umm.. the normal for us." A smirk rose on her face. She could remember the first time they snuck off together. They were first years and life seemed all too easy. They went to the kitchens and made the house-elves make them 'real' food. She could never forget that day because that's when they became the best of friends.
Diana smiled, "Thank you," as she took a piece of gum and lightly placed it into her mouth. For some odd reason kept on doing twists and she couldn't figure it out yet. However, when he said he was glad to have helped her out she looked up at him and smiled playfully. "I can only imagine with your schedule... this is like regal time, with all those girls chasing you and all... I can only imagine that this is something of a royal help to me," she bit her lip to hold back the playful laugh. She was mocking him but it was out all of fun.

Shane let out another laugh. " Yeah, you're right. That is all intense. Especially if you do it all at the same time." He said with a slight smirk. " Sneaking around is always fun. Actually, we haven't done that in a while. We should probably break a few rules and do something intense tonight." He suggested, looking at her with a mischevious smirk that clearly suggested he wanted to cause some trouble. Everyone knew causing mischief was always better when you were with someone else. Especially your best friend. You're very pretty, funny best friend that was...
Shane made a face at Diana, sticking out his tongue playfully at her. " Psh. You make me sound like I'm some kind of boy band member or something." He said with a laugh. " Mentioning all my fan girls and whatnot. Well, anyways, they aren't really of any real interest to me. Not like you are, anyways." He added. " I always have time for you." He told her, giving her another smile. It was the truth. He wouldn't miss spending time with Diana for anything.

Diana nodded and straightened herself a bit. "Oh yes I agree lets sneak out tonight Shane," she said with big eyes. "You know like the old days," she said as a smile grew on her face. They hadn't snuck out together in a long time. She rather missed it, but with there lives getting crazier it only made it harder. "What do you say... midnight we meet in the Common Room... and then where?" she asked curiously.
As he stuck his tongue out at her she tilted her head at him. "You know you shouldn't stick out your tongue because it gives things the notion to bite it," she said playfully. "I mean one day a wasp can be coming by while you're sticking your tongue out and it'll sting you... or worse a firstie will come and try to snog with you," she winked at him playfully.
"Oh you know you have adorable firsties following you everywhere..." she said playfully. "The I love Shane committee," she said with a mock-serious face. "I mean I almost had to make a reservation," Diana shook her head playfully. Shane, ever since they were friends, was always the type of guy that he always had a girl at his side. However, Diana should never be talking for she was always one to have some gossip about her and a guy around the school, even if it wasn't true.
When Shane spoke about always having time for her Diana actually blushed. It was a rare occasion, and almost never seen site, to see Diana blush. She looked at him and slapped him lightly. "Don't lie to me like that," she said playfully even though she knew he wasn't lying.

Shane nodded in agreement, smiling excitedly. " Definetly! We haven't done that in ages!" He agreed with her. Since they were older, things always got in the way of continuing older traditions. There was school work now, more exams, and of course other people and activities that got in the way. Shane rather missed the older days, when he was just starting out at Hogwarts. " Midnight sounds perfect." He replied to her. He shrugged his shoulders. " Don't know. It will be spontaneous. We'll just make it up as we go along." He said, already excited about the night's new agenda. He could hardly wait to once again revive his old troublemaking days.
Shane laughed. " Oh, you're right. I guess I should keep it in my mouth now. Though that's not very much fun, is it?" He said with a playful grin. He made a face at when Diana mentioned First Years." Ehh...That gives me plenty of reason to keep my tongue in my mouth. I don't really fancy snogging with First Years anytime soon."
Shane rolled his eyes, shoving Diana playfully. " Shut up. It's not like you don't have an 'I Love Diana' fanclub. I'm sure they've already made one up for you." He teased right back. " I'm actually feeling a little jealous about that." He said, fighting back a smile. Shane had always been a flirt, being as smooth as he was with words and actions. Yet he knew when to quit. When there was a girl around he truly had feelings for, every other girl instantly lost interest to him.
Shane noticed the pink flush in Diana's cheeks. He took her chin gently in his hand, tilting her head so she was looking directly at him. " Diana, love, are you blushing?" He teased, though there was a smile on his lips. He thought it was cute. It made her look even prettier, if that was possible. " I'm not lying and you know it." He added.

[lets make another thread no? This time you make it pwease]
Diana laughed lightly as they spoke of tonights plans. She was incredibly excited and couldn't wait. However, a strange thought kept on reaccuring in her head. It was different now then it was back then, if they got caught now it would most definately be in the front page of Lady Whisledown's article. She did have a thing for putting Diana in it, as interesting as it all sounded, it was rather a pain. But in all reality no matter what she would say about them Diana would always have that certain, 'you may be right', knowing about things.
Diana stuck her tongue out at him and smiled. "Yes it is pretty fun especially when it's in good company," she laughed when her reacted to her firstie statement. "However I don't have to worry about that since I think I do a good job of intimidating them," she winked lightly.
"Me," Diana said completely innocently. "I am a humble dater," she said lightly. "I have no reason to believe that you are correct.. I mean it's not like I have them falling in line now," she said playfully pouting her lips a bit but in a completely playfull fashion. "But I must say if that is the reason I haven't been seeign much of you lately I must fire them," she said half-laughing.
When he took her chin gently in his hand and tilted it so she was looking directly at him, Diana tried incredibly hard to fade the blush. "Blushing me?" she said in a 'what are you talking about' tone. "Now why would I, of all people be blushing," she giggled lightly. However, when he said that he wasn't lying Diana blushed again. This time she turned her head so that she couldn't see.
