Gabriella strolled along the streets of the magical town; happy to be close to Hogwarts once more. Life with the Rogue Wizards was fulfilling; but terribly uunhomely in any sort of way. She was one of the few who actually lived at Headquarters, and life was boring; her few assignments made her come to life. This one in particular was most enjoyable as it was near the very place she had always felt at home, Hogwarts. She gazed longingly up at the dark castle in the distance hardly containg her excitement at the thought of visiting it later that night.
Tiny droplets of rain started to fall softly on her head; she smile broadened as she opened up her mouth to catch the falling water. For the first time in months, she was honestly and truly content with her station in life.

"Oh hell," Adriana said as she stepped from a nearby shop. She squinted up at the sky, wondering when the clouds had rolled in, and sighed. It was just going to be one of those days, she thought while simultaneously being glad she'd at least worn her cloak. Rain didn't really agree with the girl, nor with any of the purchases she'd just acquired from Honeydukes. She clutched her bag of sweets closer to her body and hoped that they were well sealed for there was nothing worse than a ruined, soggy sweet.
She brought her gaze down from the heavens and in doing so noticed that she wasn't entirely alone. Another was there with their back turned towards her making it so she couldn't see their face. Despite this, Adriana thought she recognised the person and so went to speak. "Hello Fran-oh," she started. It wasn't her friend at all, but someone that she didn't know at all. She blushed furiously before stuttering an apology, "I-I'm sorry. I thought you were someone else." She smiled slightly, now feeling very awkward.

Gabriella smirked at the young witch and her bag of sweets.
"Not a problem," she said grinning. "Especially in this sort of beautiful weather it's understandable that you might mistake me for one of your friends. Not to mention, I've never been credited with looking my age!"
Gabriella laughed lightly. "Hogwarts are you? Pity to have a Hogsmeade weeking with such dreary weather. When I attended that school I also hated the rainy Hogsmeade days, whenever it rained I loved to be at the school. That way you could get up into the common room quickly once you got cold."

Adriana smiled weakly and nodded. Hogwarts was definitely where she'd rather be at the moment, or perhaps the Three Broomsticks; it didn't much matter. Still feeling a little out of place, she swallowed and then asked, "So, you which house were you, if you don't mind my asking?" Adriana didn't really know what to think of the older girl. The girl seemed alright, but first impressions, though the lasting impressions, weren't always the correct ones. The rain was becoming to come down harder, so Adriana pulled her hood on, trying to remain a little dry.

Gabriella's smile broadened as the talk to her house.
"Ravenclaw," she replied arrogantly. "The best house if I do say so myself. One can never go wrong with a scholar, they almost always mean what they say and if not they can generally twist their words well enough you'll believe them anyways!"
Gabriella laughed, the truth was always full of hilarity. "Sorry if you're not in the Ravenclaw by the way. I made the assumption in my mind, you've the look of one of my own. I have a knack for guessing people's houses."

"Oh," Adriana said, smiling and relaxing a bit. "Yeah, I'm a Ravenclaw. Good guess. I'm sorry for being even more nosy, but I'd very much like to know what you're doing here if you don't go to Hogwarts anymore? Do you work at one of the shops?" Adriana hadn't seen her before, thought that wasn't that unusual. It seemed new people were popping up all over the place. They weren't really new; they were just people that she'd never bumped into before.

"Doing a bit of shopping actually," She said grinning. She was lying through her teeth, but she'd made a career on her ability to do so and unless the young witch was a skilled occlumens she wouldn't be able to tell.
"Diagon Alley can become so dreary after a while. I love coming down here every so often. It's such a charming and quaint place! It cheers me up just being here you know, it's so welcoming."

"I didn't realise that people came up here to shop all that often," Adriana said, doubting a little what the girl had told her. It wasn't that unusual, Adriana managed to convince herself. There are some nice shops up here after all. Trying to cover her uncertainty, she smiled once more and said, "I'm Adriana, by the way." She didn't feel it prudent to tell her last name right away when introducing herself. "I hope you'll excuse me for not introducing myself earlier. It was rather rude of me, I know. I apologise."

"Lack of niceties often saves lives in these dificult times." Said Gabriella, noting the lack of belief in the students face as she had told her lies. "Plenty come here just to shop and meet with their own kind, it's one of the few entirely magical places in Britain and the world; no doubt it's popular. I highly doubt the stores would profit very much otherwise.
"And you need not apoligize either, especially since I too was so rude to you and probably seeming quite creepy as well." Gabriella laughed lightly. "My name's Gabby, well not really, just a nickname; I prefer it to my own." She ended smiling. She closed her mind as she stared at the young witch who was intelligent enough to not give her surname. Perhaps she was to be understimated. Gabriella knew at that moment she would need to be more cautious, the girl might have contacts that could lead to some trouble for her.

"I know, but..." Adriana started to say in reply to the idea that the shops wouldn't be making any profit without out-of-town wizards. She was cut off though when Gabby continued. Actually quite glad she'd been cut off, Adriana smiled when Gabby introduced herself. She thought that perhaps the reason she'd never seen any wizards or witches that were not locals was merely because she hadn't been looking for any or paying that much attention to any one else for that matter. Gabby must be right, she realised. "It's nice to meet you, Gabby, and you weren't being rude in the least. Or at least I don't think so." She laughed uneasily, pulling at her hood. "If this rain doesn't stop soon," she muttered to herself. "I'm going to have to go inside."

"I don't mind the rain, I'm actually quite enamoured with it." She said with smile. "It calms me, I don't know why as I am pretty cold at the moment, just something about it."
She laughed lightly and continued, "Granted I enjoy being out in thunderstorms as well so what I say shouldn't exactly be counted as sane."
She smiled at the young witch who was shivering beside her and took out her wand and muttered a heating spell to warm her up. "It helps being overage," she said and laughed once more. She was glad to talk to someone outside the Rogue Wizards and her Quinn Locksley, the ministry witch charged with following her. She took a cautionary look around the scenary making sure the ministry wasn't too close. She was also certainly glad to talk of something other than politics and logistics.

Adriana smiled and said a quick thanks. She felt much better once she could actually feel her limbs again. "I can't wait until I can use my magic whenever I want," she confessed. "And I get more an more impatient as time goes by. Thunder storms aren't so bad. I actually enjoy watching them too, just not in them entirely." She could remember many times when she was little where she had stood by one of the small windows in her living room and stared out at the lightning and listened to the thunder. She'd always been so entranced by them when she was inside. Being out in them was an entirely different experience and not a good one for her. Shaking her head suddenly, she brought herself back to the present.

((I have no idea where to go with this...should I try to convince you to join the Rogue Wizards, maybe just try to figure out who you were affiliating yourself with...I don't know))
Gabriella laughed at her response. "I remember being that impatient to use magic outside of school. I use to use magic to do everything; my parents got a bit shirty about that. Something about my lack of maturity." She said grinning.
"How many years till you're officially of age?" She said curiously. "Not meaning to pry or anything. Hopefully I don't seem too creepy."

((I honestly don't remember who is what with all those groups))
"Well," Adriana started a tad uncomfortably, "Three-ish years, I guess. It just seems so far away. I'm sometimes afraid I'll never be of age. It takes so long it feels like. I know... I know... Once your childhood is gone you can't get it back." She rolled her eyes. She'd been told that so many times that she just used it as a defense whether or not any one was actually going to say that. "Oh, and you weren't being that creepy," she said finally. "A little, but not that much." She grinned before continuing with, "Why do you ask anyway?"

"Just trying to make conversation." She said chuckling slightly. At least she was too young to have any true affiliations to anyone. The young girl was of no danger to her. She glanced around, keeping her wards closed, looking for any sign of Quinn Locksley and stupid apprentice.
"It's crazy. You pretty much have to decide what you want to do and where you want to go in your fourth year. I remember taking as many courses as I could just to keep my options open. Didn't help me much though now did it?" She said laughing. She had been a bright student; she excelled and work hard at all her course work. She could've probably done almsot anything...but now she was a rebel, a Rogue Wizard.
"So just what are you planning to do after Hogwarts? Any big plans? I never could decide. I suppose in a way I never really wanted too. Hogwarts was safe then, a haven for indecisive witches like myself."
