Maeve walked to the edge of the forbidden forest, acting-arguing with herself to go in or not. "To go and explore and be not safe and adventure, or not to go and not explore and be safe and not adventure, that is the question!" she knew that probably made no sense to anyone but herself, but she didn't care.
"Wow, what a choice! Good Merlin, have fun or not, that's the other part of the freaking question." Maeve smirked and bolted into the forest at full speed. "Well, that was a hard choice." she joked, having not a care where she ended up.

Tyler wandered the forest, his wand at the ready. He wasn’t willing to take any chances this time. No creatures where going to sneak up on this boy tonight. You’d think the boy would have learned his lesson last time he entered the forest, but of course he wasn’t the brightest boy of his year. Tyler just loved the thrill of the forest, even if he did risk his life ever time he entered. Eh, dieing wasn’t that big of a misfortune; at least he would have died having fun. And what could be better then that? Breaking the rules, always a good time in the book of Tyler Rockwood.
Tyler looked around a bunch of trees before proceeding further in the forest. But the sound of footsteps made him quickly look in the other direction. Ty saw a flash of long blonde hair running past not to far ahead. He moved a little closer to the trees in front of him when he noticed the girls face. Maeve Malfoy.
“What brings a pretty girl like you into the forest?” Ty said with a smile slipping through the trees so he was right behind the pretty Malfoy girl.

Maeve came to a stop when she heard a voice talk to her. She smirked as she recognised the voice. It happened to be Tyler, someone that she knew too well for her own good. Oh so say her parents.
"Nothing brings a pretty girl in a forest. All the pretty girls are inside the castle, sipping tea in the comfort of the common room, or to whatever extent the common room can be comfy." she turned around to face him. "Now, why I'm out here is to one, get away DuaTurnebout, and two, see if the complex life is more fun then the simple life. Everyone knows I hate complex things, so I'm seeing if it's worth giving a shot." she put her hands on her hips. "I thought the forest would be a great place to try to find complexity."

“Oh well I’m sorry,” he said with a smirk. “I must have seen another pretty blonde haired girl in the forest.” Tyler smiled and looked over Maeve for a moment. She always was an interesting one. But that made it all the more fun.
“Well if you want complexity, you aren’t going to find it here.” Tyler stated with a smile. “The forest is a rather simple place. You’ve got your trees that make it seem darker than it really is, and you’ve got the creatures roaming the forest, which they call home. And as long as you don’t disturb their parts of the forest you wont be getting any unexpected visitors.” Clearly Tyler spent way too much time in the forest. Only on rare occasions was he ever in any actual danger.

Post by Valunce on Jul 3, 2007 14:18:52 GMT
Valunce was ever watchful, ever mounting a constant vigil, not for the safety of his own race, but for the peculiar race of the humans, always they were so ignorant and often that ignorance was mingled with arrogance to become a potent force spelling complete disaster. Valunce was rightfully confident that centaurs could hold their own in this forest; it was their home and they were adapted to it in many ways, whereas humans didn't respect the natural world, they used and abused it, leaving the earth scarred and destroyed; but not here, here there was hidden power, dangerous creatures capable of tearing petty humans limb from limb. Yet still humans foolishly ventured in, never did they learn.
Valunce was determined to keep up his constant guardianship of them, to deter their entering the forest, and so he would often pass the days roaming near the boundary, tracking and consequently guarding the humans, mainly from other far more dangerous centaurs who would truly wish harm upon them.
Valunce had happened upon a young pair of human foals, and had listened intently to their puzzling conversation, it amused him, they way they spoke, often with such great over-confidence, yet it scared him also, they knew not when to stop their immature actions. Usually Valunce would have been contented to simply watch the curious humans and analyse their strange behaviour, but his homeland had been insulted, and that boy needed a lesson, whether he was willing to learn or no.
Having been a fair distance away, Valunce now crashed through the undergrowth towards them, purposefully making plenty of noise. Bounding towards them he pawed the earth with his hooves his bow drawn defensively,
"Simple is it?" He questioned, eyes glinting a grim look upon his features, "this place is far more complex than you can possibly imagine young one, the darkness is not simply from trees blocking the light, evil resides in this place, no do not scoff, I speak the pure and absolute truth whether you're too arrogant to believe it is up to you. Now I suggest you leave this forest before a creature that wishes you harm finds you."
