Vanessa knew that she shouldn't have gone out into The Forbidden Forest at this hour, but she had some issues to work out at the moment. She went home for a day to discover that the people she had gone home to, weren't her family at all. She had been, as she put it, "abandoned" as a child by the Malfoy's. She would be moving in with them that upcoming week, or atleast her things would be moving while she finished school.
How could Maeve keep this from her? She entered the forest, fists clenched at her sides. "There better not be any professors out tonight," Nessa said angrily to herself, walking deeper and deeper into the forest. The poor girl was on the verge of tears.

Alex didn't need to be out there, but he was. It didn't matter, he was a teacher, but just the fact that there were strange things here. What he was strange, a girl, and by the looks of her probably a Slytherin. "Excuse me?" he said taking time to walk up to her. "Are you supposed to be out here?" he asked knowing the answer already.

She was so filled with anger that she didn't both to take in the voice coming from behind her. "Will you just leave me the bloody Hell al-," she began to shriek, then realized who it was she was talking to. "Oops," Vanessa mumbled beneath her breath, her eyes traveling over him. "Listen.. Can you cut me a break, just..like..once?" Nessa bit into her lower lip, looking hopeful.

"Hey I'm not supposed to be here either, I don't care." he said nearly laughing when she caught herself yelling at a professor. "I don't care if you yell at me either, it's just a nasty thing that you shouldn't do." he said not really caring about people talking bad about him or even yelling.

She had to stare at him for a moment or so before she finally caught on. "You seriously don't care? Uhm, wow," Vanessa said simply, shrugging her shoulders. "All the better for me, I suppose," she stated, continuing to walk deeper into the dark night scene. "Hey; Why are you here anyway?"

"In this entire castle it is the only place where I can be without 50 students yelling and playing around." he said tellung the truth. "Why are you here?" he asked hoping not to sound rude.
