Nicholas looked on at the member of the ministry, he was about to retaliate and strike back when another man got there first. Feeling rather shocked at this sudden entrance Nicholas looked over his shoulder for any exit. When he started to talk to the pupils he knew that this man must be a teacher, but then something happened that made his mind race even more. The girl was scared to even look at the man and was muttering about it being a dream.
“I am nobodies friend, but I have enemies. But what about you? Why should I trust you and tell you who I am?”
Nicholas eyes fell on that of the students lying on the floor, then from behind the darkens of his hood her glanced over at the older man in front of him and lowered his wand. He needed to show that he wanted to talk peacefully, but this character did seem to be dark and have a past that scared the female Hufflepuff.

Elijah had been on his way to meet his contact, Nicholas, when noises from inside the trees alerted him to danger. Had Nicholas already run into trouble on his first visit to Hogwarts? Elijah began to run down the lawn and into the trees, silently avoiding any obstacles that would create too much noise, ignoring the sting on his cheek as a branch cleanly whipped him. But I'd checked! He thought angrily at himself, leaping over a small fallen tree. All the ministry officials are accounted for - they're on the third and second floors! How could I have missed one? If Nicholas was caught by the ministry and interrogated, their whole cause would be lost...
Praying he had not signaled for Nicholas to walk into a trap, the bright flash of a hex told him he had already homed in on where Nicholas must have been, but to his surprise it was not just his superior and a slippery ministry member battling in the clearing - there was also two Hufflepuff students and another man with them.
Skidding to a halt, Elijah pulled out his wand and ducked down in the shadows, his eyes scanning the crowd, his photographic memory picking out faces. William Roth, of course! How could I have forgot him? Those two... Henry Boggleworth and Girty Hubbles? In my Charms class? Yes, that's them... wait, whose HE? Elijah looked upon the man standing a few feet away from the others, and as he stared he realised it was none other than Leigh Addis. They never found a body... I should have known he was alive.

Leigh was relieved when the man finally spoke, his eyes looking at the man with a strange respect already. A man willing to go against the Ministry was more worthy of being a friend than a mere ally who you could double cross as easily.
'You don't have to trust anyone, but it seems you can trust another to spy, quite not as easily as a tiger however.' Leigh turned his head slightly before looking at the spot where he knew another was, watching carefully. A smile spread across his face as he returned his gaze to the man with the scottish accent. 'I am the former Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, Leigh Addis, and I died only a few months ago before I escaped my hellish prison inside of another being known as Morziak, who is after what the Ministry is after... And undoubtedly what you're trying to prevent the Ministry from obtaining. That would be the only reason why a man such as yourself, obviously skilled and powerful, would be here. Am I wrong in my assumption?'
Leigh knew, for now, that Morziak was indisposed, but for how long he could not guess. But the feeling that the Ministry were getting close scared him, but he had to make an ally sooner, rather than later.

Nicholas looked at the man, unable to believe what he was hearing. However this explanation would explain why the girl was acting so strange. Giving her a quick glance he turned his gaze back to the man in front of him.
“You are the dead Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, now I have truly seen everything. A man thought dead but is not a ghost. This Morziak must be an interesting character, I look forward to meeting him. If what you say is true.”
Nicholas was avoiding answering the mans question, he had no reason to trust him, it is too simple to use words you do not mean. Nicholas had no reason to believe this man, he was meant to be dead, who knows what dark forces were at work.

'Meeting Morziak will either means he's marked you or you'll be dead by the end of the meeting.' Leigh said, looking at the man from the corner of his eye. 'I also doubt that you'll be meeting him any time soon.' He crossed his arms and smiled.
'Am I meant to be dead? Am I meant to reside in a place where no man can escape from, where no man can be himself? If you ever meet Morziak, in the near future or distant, it doesn't matter... You may end up where I did, cold, desolate and alone, dead.'

As Nicholas listened on to what the man had to say he tried to stifle a yawn. In his eyes the story was very unlikely to be true but the way the girl reacted seemed to suggest otherwise. As Leigh talk about Morziak and his own escape from death Nicholas soon noticed the movement in the distance of Elijah.
Nodding in the Gryffindor’s direction Nicholas began to walk forward. As he walked past Addis he placed a hand on the man shoulder and looked directly into the mans cold eyes.
“I will be careful. Thank you for your guidance and information.”
We removed his hand form the mans shoulder and walked towards the Hufflepuff’s lying on the ground. He knelt between the both of them seeing that both were awake, he put his hand into his pocket and pulled out a bar of honey dukes best chocolate.
“Here I know this is not the perfect cure, but it will help a wee bit. If anything simply to get some more sugar into your blood.”

Boggleworth looked around in pure confusion, events spiralling entirely out of his control. From what he could piece together thus far; he had been attacked by a Ministry official who had subsequently been beaten off by a dead man, a Scottish man of all people had appeared too, offering chocolate at all things at a time like this. Struggling to comprehend the goings on, and gingerly feeling a small bump upon his head he looked around rather bewildered, but gratefully accepted the luxurious chocolate nonetheless, with the chocolate halfway to his lips he remembered he had given it up, sighing he chucked his at Girty, "given it up sorry," he murmered brightly. With due respect he began questioning the world at large concentrating maninly upon the man who seemingly had the higher status, "sir what are you doing here? And what on earth is happening?" He couldn't help the interrogating nature of his questions, he was naturally curious and thoroughly confused to boot.

As the scene had unfolded Elijah had changed position several times around the clearing, only choosing to move when all eyes were cast away from his direction or when someone was talking loud enough to cover any accidental sounds he may have made.
He approached near to where Nicholas stood, and kneeled in a spot where the man would undoubtedly catch sight of him. As he did, Elijah returned his nod of greeting and began to slink backwards into the bushes, knowing now that the man was in no trouble and that it was not necessary for him to reveal himself to the others. It would have been an especially bad move in front of the two Hufflepuffs - they were not permitted to know who Elijah really was, after all.
At least he can't have my head for this. He didn't anticipate two students or that Addis man either.

Leigh nodded his head, before slowly looking down at where the man was headed. He soon noticed that Henry had spoken, and slight smile spread on his lips.
'Always asking questions.' He said quietly to himself. One last look down at Henry and Girty filled him with pride, but also fear. He knew not if they believed he had returned, or if not, they did, but would they tell others? He was sure they would not if he asked them, but would a simple slip of the tongue around a Ministry official be enough for his manhunt to begin? He shook his head and looked down again.
'I have to go... Too many now know of my presence here, I fear that I may have to openly reveal myself and soon die for being considered the walking dead.' He said, turning away from the group. 'I doubt we'll meet anytime soon...'
