Aly peered up into the tree trying to see Kim. "What do you see?" she called to Kim softly, then decided to go up herself. "Kim, I'm coming up, stay where you are so I can find you."

A very small dark shadow crossed the sky, at the same a low mournful bird call reached her ears, and althoguh Helia had never heard it before, she knew exactly what it was. An augrey. 'Augrey cry, augrey cry... commonly associated with death... no, that's just an old wives tell. Augrey's are the Irish Phoenix, so they're sensetive to... water! No... not water, something to do with water... Wet weather!' she snapped her fingers, smiling, glad that she had remembered... then looked up at the sky, and over to the tree where Kim and Aly were hiding.
"Out of the tree, out of the tree!" she called out frantically. "A storm's coming and if you're in a tree you're gonna get electrocuted!"
[Heh heh, I just had to make things difficult]

Aly jumped at Helia's sudden voice, startled, she lost her footing and slid down the tree scraping her hands and shins on the rough bark. Aly landed hard on her knees, her insides felt jarred loose from the impact, she got up, brushed herself off and glared playfully at Helia. "Thanks for the warning." she said sarcastically, although she really was grateful. She did not want to be in a tree with a storm coming! She glanced back up in the tree, "Kim? You coming?" she called.

Kim heard the call herself but didnt know what it was. At the same time it started to rain and she heard Helia's shout, knowing this couldnt be good. She heard something, like a small crack of a whip and Alys voice "Sh.." Kim yelled before she literally dived out of the tree, landing on her side as she went skidding through the mud. She was a little battered and bruised now but okay, she looked back at the tree and saw that where she once was, it was now on fire. She looked at Helia and smiled, "Close"

"Almost too close," she shook her head, "Well now what do we do? Can't go back the way we came, still don't know what's making the forest so crazy... Um... Move forward?" she asked with a shrug, indicating a random direction away from the fire. The rain was beginning to fall now, helping douse the tree, if very slowly, and since they were in an open area they themselves were getting drenched as well.
She looked between Kim and Aly, then headed of between two willow trees.

"Moving forward sounds better than moving backwards to me" Kim said as she began to walk. Whatever was making the forest act the way it was, she guessed they'd fin out soon enough if the forest was still the was Kim remembered it. However, she could be wrong.
Kim looked up as raindrops began hitting the ground. She looked to Helia and Aly "Well if we stand here much longer we might as well have just gone and jumped in the lake for all its worth"

Aly chuckled quietly, "It sure seems that way doesn't it?" she agreed. "I as well, believe we should move forward... not that anyone probably cares about my opinion of course. It's already two- to- one!" She added this as after thought, speaking in a light tone in hopes of relieving some the tension.

Helia smiled, "Well hurry up then!" she beckoned them to follow her between the two willow trees and made her way forward. Now that they were out of the clearing the rain was having a harder time getting to them, but there was still a sprinkling, and the odd puddle here and there {which Helia didn't avoid jumping in} but altogether this was definatly a drier route.
After the lightning-nearly-striking-Kim, she didn't want to bring up the fact that there may very well be something still following them, but she didn't let her guard down. Weather spells were difficult to perform, but not unheard of, and if indeed someone had caused the rain shower and lightning, it was not someone... or something, that she wanted to meet anytime soon.

Kim followed Helia, avoiding the puddles for some reason unknown to herself. Kim frowned as her face caught a branch of a tree, not mentioning anything she kept herself pushing forward. She was slightly behind Helia and Aly was slightly behind Kim, but all three of them keeping in a close line. Something didnt feel right and Kim didnt like it, she had a very bad and very strange feeling about something. Kim looked back through the darkness, her ears pricked and her eyesight, being better than it should be, she could see right behind her through the darkness. Though she couldnt see anything she had a feeling that something was there, she glanced up into the trees but the thick bushes of leaves hid anything that could possibly be hiding in there. Frowning slightly Kim kept her pace quick and even as her feet ran over the mud.
